• Several deployments of a Standalone WLS motion

  Hey guys,.

  We use Jdev version 11.1.1.7 (11g Release 1).

  I'm working on a project with another colleague of mine.  The nature of the project requires us to do all our tests through a standalone WLS who has been implemented.

  We run in the test questions as we walk on the toes of the other when redeploy us to test our code.  We tried several versions running on the server, but we run into a few problems because of the structure of our applications.

  The configuration is the following:

  We have only one application of the ADF who manages the newspaper in and maintenance of account screens.

  This application makes calls remote taskflow to another application that contains several projects and taskflows in each project.

  Our application uses also SOA and BPM processes and human task runs as well as MDS.

  We were able to deploy multiple versions of all applications separately, but when the newspaper in the application makes a call to demand access to a taskflow, is not always call the correct deployed application.

  We gave to each instance of each application a unique name (for example, Login_1, Login_2, Forms_1, Forms_2, SOA_1, SOA_2).

  We tried several versions running on the server, but we run into a few problems because of the structure of our applications.

  Not several versions but multiple instances are needed. Create a separate WLS domain for each user.

• Several deployments VM referencing a CSV file - what are csv headings?

  I'm having some difficulty with a CSV file and the creation of multiple virtual machines of script and I was wondering if anyone could help please?

  I have a CSV file with the following headers:

  Name of the server, ESX host, Datastore, NumCPU, MemoryGB, DiskGB, name, disk storage Format, the network ID

  Test-SVR10, 192.168.1.50, ds_01, 1, 4, 40, the VM, slim network, winnetstandardguest

  What I need to add is the type of network adapter (I have a mixture of vmxnet3 and e1000 to deploy) and several discs by VM.

  The script that I have is:

  If I was typing this one line at a time. (or by using a batch file I think) I could use - DiskGB 10,20,30 adding several drives on the virtual computer, but I can't seem to add in the CSV file, and the error message says something about - parameter which I don't understand.

  I guess it's a case of getting the column headers correct for the information I need to add. Is there a list of topics CSV somewhere?

  It might be interesting to note that I am simply provide the hull of the virtual machine is deployed - are there no need to use a customization script or clone an existing virtual machine / deploy from an existing template.

  The New-VM cmdlet can handle a table of values for the DiskGB parameter.

  Don't know how you set the disk sizes in the CSV file, but if you placed in the single column, it should be read as a string.

  But you can convert this string to an array.

  For example:

  If you entered '10/20/30' in the DiskGB column in the CSV file, you can do $_. DiskGB.Split('-') for a picture with the 3 values.

• Several buttons increment counters - bolt moves too early

  Yet once I can't figure out where I'm going wrong - the Pro can spot what I'm doing wrong and put me on the right path?

  Here's what I'm trying to do:

  The learner enters the text in TEBs on a previous screen. The content is stored in variables user and displayed on the screen that you see in the screenshot. The learner must then click on the buttons on the right based on the content they had put in the BER.

  Each press of the button is to success action: increment v_button 1

  I have display at the same time, the number of all buttons in the blue legend on the bottom.

  Now my question: the display of the counties, but I can't get the screen to pause until hits of the learner 'MOVE ON' button on the bottom.

  I played with break/no pause button, put a box to click in the upper left corner with no other function to stop the slide (which usually work around works, but not here)-nothing works. After the duration of 5 sec slide, because the learner has clicked on at least one of the buttons on the right, the bolt moves.

  Hope someone can figure it out on my screenshot shady what the h... is wrong in my settings/timeline?

  Hello Anja,

  The four buttons on the right have no suspension, so the reading head will continue. Set to take a break and have this point of suspension before the button move. Attempted to create a small example, here's the timeline. Four unmarked buttons have the action to increment home not with a simple gesture, but with a tip action: Expression v_counter = v_counter + 1

  Why this advanced action, because it also stops the playhead so you don't add to continue as the second statement. Considering that action simple increase will also allow the playhead to continue. This example works very well for me: you can click on the four buttons as many times as you want, at the head of reading remains to 3 dry (these buttons pause). And when the user clicks the button move which is set to go to the next slide, this will be done. I hope that's what you wanted?

• several virtual centres, centralized database?

  Hi all

  I try to extend our current infrastructure and would like to know if you know of any documentation concerning several deployments of virtual center. I think that when installing vcenter he ask if this EGG will be part of an existing VC. My question is simple how it is?, and how the database will be configured?, do I need to deploy a database in the new virtual server Center or it will get all the data to the remote site?

  i.e. I have a server VC in Houston and want to have another VC server in London, but using the same data from houston, but I just want to be able to log on to a local server of vc in London.

  Looks like you want to vCenter Linked Mode, where you can connect to an instance of vCenter and others. Databases are my distinct knowledge and local preference in each instance for performance reasons, only the vCenter service are interconnected.

• Two applications of CVI each calling another version of TestStand

  We have a Test Manager software written in LabWindows CVI.

  A version of the Test Manager wrote in a version more old of the CVI and calls TestStand 3.x.

  A newer version was written in CVI 7.x and also calls TestStand 3.x.

  The latest version of the Test Manager is written in the most recent CVI and the last TestStand.

  We want to install and run the old versions and the new versions on the same PC.

  Will this work?  How the old (and new) Test Manager will select the appropriate version of TestStand?

  For example, we want to execute CVI 7.x and later with TestStand 3.x and with the latest version of TestStand.

  I read the posts earlier to have several deployments of TestStand (or versions) on the same PC.  This case is not quite the same, given that the application calls TestStand and not the opposite.

  I don't know which posts, you reference, but they should apply to your situation. The editor interfaces and operator of sequence are not TestStand. They both call the TestStand engine. Because you can only have a single engine was active at a time, you will need to have your high-level program go to the correct. There are a few files of commands here that should help you. Of course, you can run your manager different test programs at the same time.

  Unfortunately not (that I know) but if you go to loopholes in the Server tab, you should be able to view a summary of alerts and check what is happening.

• Compatibiity ISE and wireless

  We are preparing to improve our controllers wireless 7.2.110 to 7.6.130. When I check the ISE compatibility matrix, it does not specifically list 7.6 code WLC as supported by 1.1.4 ISE or ISE 1.2. I guess that's, given 7.5 is listed as supported in the matrix of 1.2. You can check that WLC code 7.6.130 is supported in 1.1.4 AND 1.2.1 ISE ISE?

  Yes. I've done several deployments of ISE with WLCs 7.6 running. That being said, stay away from 7.5. It is not a good code and it is full of questions.

• I need a Switch

  I am currently a student working on a project that got designig a network for a small business. So I was hoping that someone could suggest what turned off, I have to use the range of Cisco products. I'm going to need about 285 ports spread across 5 floors. So I think I'm going to need a combination of 24- and 48-Port switches. the network is 100 Mbps. Some of these ports are going to be for Voip, going to need a VLAN. I'm new on this isn't so sure what information you need exactly. I also need a gateway router that can handle both VoIP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  Let's see if I can be useful. Can you answer a few questions first on this network that you design?

  (1) what kind of applications will run on the network other than the voice?

  (2) what type of permit VOIP PBX will deploy you? (The manufacturer makes a difference because many of them use proprietary protocols)

  (3) usually 258 ports require several deployments of enterprise-level, do you know how many connections to the LAN and voice by floor connections?

  (4) what type of uplinks will be necessary between switches? Fiber or copper? 1 G or 10G maybe?

  That should be enough to start. Let me know if you have any questions.

• Cisco ISE 1.2 & Cisco WLC 5508 v7.6

  Hi all

  We intend to upgrade our WLC to 7.6 to fix a bug with FlexConnect customer ACL but I just saw on the ISE Cisco compatibility table which it recommended only up to the WLC 5508 v7.5...

  Cisco told me to avoid 7.5 as it is in a State of defferred if anyone know or are running in a laboratory or production, ISE1.2 with a WLC v7.6 n 5508?

  I wish I knew rather questions of people know before hand than to have to go through a software update, and then restore.

  Definitely stay away from 7.5. I've done several deployments with the WLCs 7.6 running. The two main issues that I touched were:

  CSCue68065 - in this bug FlexConnect ACL does not work unless you have a regular (non FlexConnect) ACL created with exactly the same name

  CSCuo39416 - CWA does not not on FlexConnect APs. It would apply to you if you have older models APs

• AD authentication environment VCSe, VCSC and TMS

  We have VCSe, VCSC and TMS work with commissioning on the VCSC through TMS.

  VCS, Version 6.1, 13.1 TMS

  Movi (4.3) external Clients have registration with the VCSC. VCSe does proxy registration.

  Users have been configured on the MSDS. There is still no configured AD authentication.

  Everything works fine.

  We now want to configure AD authentication.

  There are several deployments to do, but for me, some of them are not so sure than others.

  I need a top secure deployment.

  I need ideas to make the deployment.

  I understand perfectly what you want, but I do not understand why. When you set a directory of provisioning in TMS to be integrated with AD, users are imported automatically according to the 'search string', that you are configuring. But passwords are not imported from AD, basic information only from users are imported. When any user try to connect, TMS challenge for authentication in real time.

  For me it is not a problem, because the MSDS do not save passwords in its own database. Is this a problem for you? Why?

  If you try to do it only because you want to limit which users are allowed to use the customer Movi, if your problem is the following, so you can solve it by using a 'search filter' in the configuration directory configuration, so that you afin que vous serez will be able to import only users who belong to a specific group, for example.

• Help with installation of the 1:1 Nat IP agent

  We have several deployments of our application in the different data centers around the world.  Most of them are in Vmware ESX deployments.  All these virtual machines are aware of their private IP (class C subnet).  The hosting provider, and then maps a public IP address to the private IP address with their infrastructure via a 1:1 NAT IP.  So, when I set up the client in our ESX servers, he can see the private IP address.  However when it connects to our server, hyperic to office, it reports incorrect to the hyperic server IP address since it sends the class C IP, not accessible to the public IP address.  Is it possible to replace the IP address of the agent so that it binds to the private IP address, but it sends the public IP address on our server?

• Heartbeat vs HA

  This really sounds like a stupid question, but I was struggling with it.

  A vCenter server is placed on a cluster of several hosts, configured with HA.

  It's done given that HA works in this scenario, and it's one that I have tested on several deployments - HA brings the server elsewhere, and then it runs. All this who is down in the meantime, are things like the DRS.

  So, what is Heartbeat?

  I tried to research it but it's hard to get through the sales pitch. I get VMware statements with questions like "can you afford for all of your infrastructure to go magically offline because you buy Heartbeat" but they reflect reality.

  In a complete scenario of DR, the push is for SRM, which as far as I can see reprised this role.

  I intend to invest some time lab on Heartbeat - I noticed it is now in the plan Director VCP5, but, I feel like I need to know what I'm trying to achieve before I build it.

  Heartbeat provides 'instant' failover with no downtime while HA there will be a brief interruption - this is the big difference.

• First Pro CC hangs whenever I open a version of a project

  I have a 3 month project that I worked and now I can't open any version of it without it crashing when I open the project. Or... Crashing when I click on the main sequence to display it in the timeline panel.  I have several saved incrementally versions and nothing will work.

  I have a MacBook Pro of the retina 16 GB of 2012. I have not upgraded to the mavericks, won't.

  Please do not uninstall all CUDA drivers. Please mention the version of the drivers for the NVidia card. Also, go to the link below and try to update the drivers to the latest version and then restart the machine and try to revive the project.

• Related clones - they are destroyed once the user disconnects?

  About storage needs is the AD / DNS clean which adds to the time of administration.  I'm sure that VMware will try to clean up and streamline some of these questions (I hope).

  Short of running a remove script area when the device is disconnected, not much you can do really.

  On another note: I'm looking to find instructions on creating a VM XP skeleton with the basics required for AD, Antivirus, Office, Outlook, VMware, NAS & Netowrk sharing etc.  I really want to get as small as possible without removing too many features.  It must be useful for the normal user...?
