  I am having trouble with an application of several module.

  In this application, I have a main swf file that loads a skin swf file using styleManager.loadStyleDeclarations (...)

  The skins are correctly applied to all elements of the main application and all of its direct modules (Modules responsible for the main application). If however a module load again the modules of the child, the styles seem to no longer apply and I have to add a section of loadStyleDeclarations to these modules in order to have their style correctly.

  What could be the cause of this?

  Gen... I wonder why I always look for an answer to a problem and as soon as I ask for help, I found the solution myself.

  My custom loader component does not seem to have its 'moduleFactory' property if I used it in a module. So when the child module loading the moduleFactory has been set to null, sort of broken chain at the root-styles. Manual adjustment of the moduleFactory before you start loading my modules did the trick and the chain was restored... and presto! My styles began to work.

  That may help a chap unucky have the same problem, then perhaps this thread will be useful after all.

  Try to uninstall Spybot and then reinstall the latest version and see if that fixes the problem.

  Just in case, it may make sense to run a full virus / malware scan as well.
  If you have access to another computer, you can download Windows Defender off line which you will scan in a secure environment and are more likely to remove the intrusive malware.

  I'll set up a training course with several modules and several user roles, but some users will have the same module.

  Here is my vision of our lead:

  

  So... my thought is I can group no doubt, but it seems easier to use ' Quiz > Quiz preferences... > Quiz > success or failure > if Grade by the way: Action: open another project project: other_project.swf'.

  Then, when users of sales enter Mod 1, Mod 2 opens and they will continue.

  So yes, there will be a lot of directories with repetitions of the modules above in the dirs. that is for a sales person there is a sales dir/folder with the following files (and accompanying htm... stuff scorm xml stuff): Intro.swf... mod 1.swf... mod 2.swf... mod 3.swf... links to all modules unclassified 1 ~ 6 (there would still be a directory with these graded modules).

  I did a small proof of Concept on my office and things seem to work (as long as all the files are in the same directory?).
  At this point, I'm more comfortable with the only aggregator. Our hope is that our LMS will agree.

  So, what do you think? It will work to use 'Open another project', or am I better use aggregator?

  SCO Multi mode is only available if you purchase eLearning Suite from Adobe. I guess it is an attempt to "upsell" their products in order to get this, but it's a bit stupid because it would be a useful thing to much to attract developers.

  Aggregator is used only to "aggregate" several project files that you deliver locally, for example on a CD-Rom, USB, like EXE or towards pronounced files from a Web server.

  There is unfortunately no way to create a class module multi directly from Captivate 5.5 (or any prior version or another).

  Almost all of the courses that I am developing are several chapters and I use the editor of free recharge to create the SCORM package. It is not difficult to create a package SCORM simple with several chapters, so it's just supposed to be linear and navigation without dependencies (for example, passed a test module before you can proceed to the next chapter). A linear course, 10 chapter with 9 contained chapters and 1 final quiz can be assempled as a SCORM package in Reload in about 15 minutes.

  However, the provision of initial training that you wrote on here with several paths for different users and also having individual chapters success/failure criteria before being able to continue to the next chapter is pretty darn complex to do same in charge. If I had to do to my LMS I know inside and out, it would probably take me a day or two just to create the SCORM package and test it.

  To make this as easy as possible to implement (although not very SKINNY), I would create three separate SCORM packages if I were you. You do not have a problem as Mod1, 2 and 3 should have a quiz that is spent will allow your students to continue to the next module.

  The LMS that you deploy to - does this support SCORM 2004?

  1. do you use third-party tools to perform a defrag?

  If you use not any third-party tool to perform a defrag, then I suggest you check for the issue in the clean boot state.

  From your computer by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs so that you can determine if a background program is interfering with your game or program. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot".

  I do not use LabView: I'm developing in Visual Basic, Visual Studio 2010.

  I developed my app of the NI AcqStrainSample example. What I found in the order is:

  -CreateStrainGageChannel

  -ConfigureSampleClock

  -create an AnalogMultiChannelReader

  and

  -Start the task

  There is a timer in the VB application, once the task begun, that triggers the playback feature. This function uses:

  -AnalogMultiChannelReader.ReadWaveform (- 1).

  I have no problem with CreateStrainGageChannel, I put 8 channels and other settings.

  Regarding the ConfigureSampleClock, I have some doubts. I want a continuous acquisition, then I put the internal rate, signal source 1000, continuous sample mode, I set the size buffer using the parameter "sampled by channel.

  What I wonder is:

  (1) can I put any kind of buffer size? That the limited hardware of the module (9235) or DAQ (9188)?

  (2) can I read the buffer, let's say, once per second and read all samples stored in it?

  (3) do I have to implement my own buffer for playback of data acquisition, or it is not necessary?

  (4) because I don't want to lose packets: y at - it a timestamp index or a package, I can use to check for this?

  I will address each of your questions:

  (1) can I put any kind of buffer size? That the limited hardware of the module (9235) or DAQ (9188)?

  The samplesPerChannel parameter has different features according to the synchronization mode, you choose.  If you choose finished samples the parameter samplesPerChannel determines how many sample clocks to generate and also determines the exact size to use.  But if you use streaming samples, the samplesPerChannel and speed settings are used together to determine the size of the buffer, according to this excerpt from the reference help C DAQmx:

  

  Note that this buffer is a buffer software host-side.  There can be no impact on the material available on the cDAQ-9188 or NI 9235 buffers.  These devices each have relatively small equipment pads and their firmware and the Driver NOR-DAQmx driver software transfer data device to automatically host and the most effective way possible.  The buffer on the host side then holds the data until you call DAQmx Read or otherwise the input stream of service.

  (2) can I read the buffer, let's say, once per second and read all samples stored in it?

  Yes.  You would achieve this by choosing a DAQmx Read size equal to the inverse of the sampling frequency (during 1 second data) or a multiple of that of the other playback times.

  (3) do I have to implement my own buffer for playback of data acquisition, or it is not necessary?

  No, you should not need to implement your own stamp.  The DAQmx buffer on the host side will contain the data until you call the DAQmx Read function.  If you want to read from this buffer less frequently you should consider increasing its size to avoid the overflow of this buffer.  Which brings me to your next question...

  (4) because I don't want to lose packets: y at - it a timestamp index or a package, I can use to check for this?

  DAQmx will meet you if all packets are lost.  The default behavior is to stop the flow of data and present an error if the buffer of the side host DAQmx overflows (if, for example, your application does not pick up samples of this buffer at a rate equal or faster than they are acquired, on average).

  If, for any reason, you want to let DAQmx to ignore the conditions of saturation (perhaps, for example, if you want to sample continuously at a high rate but want only interested in retrieving the most recent subset of samples), you can use the DAQmxSetReadOverWrite property and set it to DAQmx_Val_OverwriteUnreadSamps.

• cDAQ measurement problems

  I'm new to LabVIEW and OR products, please bear with me.

  Material used:

  1 x cDAQ-9188

  input NI 9208 2 modules

  Software:

  The latest version of LabVIEW

  Windows 7 (64-bit)

  Currently, I'm having a problem getting a high enough sampling rate. My VI is just a time loop that contains two assistant DAQ, each producing a signal that divide and sent to 16 indicators. I'm the DAQ assistant set to continuous sampling at 10 hz (with 1 for size of buffer). I also put in a timer and a loop counter to see how many iterations per second, it made. When I start my VI, the loop is one iteration at 10 hz, but here's my problem: all indicators are updated only at about 1 hz!

  This could be the cause? 9208 IS supposed to be be valued at 500 hz (mode high speed) or 50 Hz (mode high resolution), what I am doing wrong?

  Hello! I just started using a cDAQ 9188 with NEITHER 9208 (as discussed in my last request), so I hope that I can help you.

  First of all, could you upload a snapshot of the block diagram that you use?

  Second, you are certain that the NI 9208 runs in mode high speed? If you're the programattically of the task of building (rather than created in MAX), there is a node of a specific property, you must call to change his mode of high resolution by default, and I, at least, he found a little hard to find.

  Remember that the speed of the NI 9208 is measured in samples per second, which are spread over all the input channels. If you read 16 channels on a NI 9208, even in mode high speed, it takes 2 ms per sample, i.e. 32 ms to collect data of all channels, so you you ~ 32 Hz on each channel. In high resolution, you will get about 3 Hz.

  I think the problem might be the size of the buffer, however. Why is this it is equal to 1?

  My advice would be to increase the sampling rate that you set in the DAQ assistant, and either increase the buffer size or to use the default size (which is based on the sampling rate, I believe).

  In addition, if your loop at 10 Hz is an iteration, and then try to save a sequential follow-up of your outings DAQ read at each iteration (in a shift register, for example). If your data changes only in fact once per second, so are you ten identical DAQ outputs read in a row? Or are you a data set and then nine lots of "no data available"? The latter seems to indicate something to do with the size of your buffer and sample, whereas the former would indicate that the NI 9208 just isn't sampling faster you want only it.

• Connected HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus status reads "problem with printer."

  I could just ePrint on an OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus replacement and them have not used for printing yet. I was in the devices page to manage the settings and change an address for one of my devices. The newly added column 8600 State reads 'Online', but also 'problem with printer '. Instructions I was referring to the display panel of the unit for Outlook2003 on the given problem. A check of the display surface showed no information, just a typical home screen. I checked through the display print and found no problems-all functionality is enabled and fully functioning. I checked then the functions of printer in the window 'Printers and devices' of all computers (all running Windows 7 Professional) on the office network. The 8600 are active and full functionality works correctly between the printer and all the computers.

  I then close the printer 8600, left for several minutes, and then lit it back and reconnected. The State says 'Problem with printer' remains in the device window HP.

  I am at a loss as to what this supposed problem can be and don't know what should be a next step. Does anyone have any advice or information that could help in this situation? It would be appreciated. Thanks in advance to those who could help

  HP support responded to my question by e-mail. I was told that the message 'Problem with the printer' is due to a bug in their system. Also said that as long as the status column indicates the printer is "Online" and everything else is fnctioning correctly, don't worry about this.

• USB-to-serial VISA read problems

  I'm trying to control several mass flow controllers attached to a hub series Alicat BB9. The hub is then connected to the computer via RS-232 series. The computer on that what is done is not a serial port, so an adapter series / usb is used. When it is plugged in, the computer (XP) recognizes the series / usb and requires a driver. I installed a driver from the manufacturer of the adapter, downloaded from the internet. The same driver is used on another computer (Vista) without any problem.

  I am able to verify that the device is installed and operating correctly via the Device Manager. I am also able to see what the device COM port is turned on. Opening OR measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX), I am able to see the COM port listed under serial devices. I am able to validate the port settings and open a VISA session with the device. However, any time I try to read from the device, what happens to expired. I get the error xBFFF0015. I have for the parameter timeout at 5000 and 10,000 without change.

  When you run a VI that is used in the laboratory to control the same configuration, I can trace the error to a VISA read Subvi. The returned 'buffer' is not a value and will raise an error. I can plug the USB key into a laptop that has the same VI and it will run without problem. The Subvi "VISA read" return a value when running on the laptop.

  I'm under LabView 8.5 and 4.4 of VISA.

  If anyone has a suggestion that could get this to work I would appreciate it a lot. Also, I am a graduate. student who is working on this issue and my understanding of LabView is not terribly large, so dumbed-down responses would be nice

  Thank you for the follow-up. However, I was able to solve the problem already... It was simply a driver update that solved my problem. The driver being used is "Prolific usb-to-serial" and version 1.. I upgraded 2.0.2.1 and it works fine now. I thought I had updated to the most recent before and apparently I had not... kind of delay. But thanks anyway!

• Several copies of the Adobe Reader software are open by Windows Explorer without any request

  I have a PC using Windows XPproSP3 as its operating system.  Adobe Reader v10.1.3 is installed on my machine. When to use Windows Explorer to view a directory containing several *. PDF files and I ask then my mouse over a file and a simple left click to select this file, Windows Task Manager shows me that the system immediately starts opening copies of AcroRd32.exe (in pairs) and continues to do so until the PC is out of memory.  The PDF in question is not actually opened.

• Memory card reader problem

  I have a HP Pavilion dv5-2134us running Windows 7, 64 bit.  In the past, worked the small memory card reader to the front.  It does not now.  There must be a switch somewhere in the device manager - not to conclude.  There must be some downloadable HP driver - was not found.

  1. There is absolutely no problem with the camera (s).  Same model, several units.

  2. There is absolutely no problem with the memory chips.  Down them on another laptop HP as well last night.

  3. I checked to see if pins were crooked on the card reader-not.

  What is the solution?

  I need a specific link to windows 7 Home Premium, 64-bit driver for the memory chip card reader.

  I need a specific way to find the on/off switch in the Device Manager.

  If you run the operating systems Windows 95, 98 and old, be aware that Microsoft has changed names, places and so on.  So, tell someone what has worked 5 years ago may not work today.

  Thank you for visiting the Forums HP's Support and welcome. I read on your HP Pavilion dv5-2134us Entertainment Notebookand of problems with a memory card or a player.  Here is a document on the memory card reader troubleshooting.

  Sometimes, Windows 7 will not allow any change in the drivers here is a solution for this.

  First of all, try to click on the Windows icon, type services in the start search box, and then click or tap on the advice of local Services. Scroll down to the Windows Installer. Startup type must be - automatic and the service status should be - started
  Restart the computer after this stage and try to reinstall.

  Here is a link to the software for the Alcor Micro Card Reader, to make sure that it is installed.
