Hello

Download Autoruns and check under the tab Sidebar Gadgets - remove anything which is a yellow Standard
Folder marker and/or points to a temp area or non-existent.

Autoruns - free - see what programs are configured so that it starts automatically when your system
boots and you login. Autoruns shows you the full list of registry and file locations where
applications can configure Auto-start settings.

Many files that SFC cannot resolve are not important.

Start - type in the search box-> find CMD in top - click right on - RUN AS ADMIN

put the command from below (copy and paste) in this box and her and then press ENTER.

findstr/c: "[SR]" %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log > sfcdetails.txt

who creates the sfcdetails.txt file in the folder that you are in when you run it.

So if you're in C:\Windows\System32 > then you will need to look in that folder for the file.

How to analyze the log file entries that the Microsoft Windows Resource Checker (SFC.exe) program
in Windows Vista
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/928228

This creates sfcdetails.txt in C:\Windows\System32 find and you can post the errors in a message
here. NOTE: there are probably duplicates so please only post once each section error.

You can read the newspaper/txt files easier if you right click on Notepad or Wordpad then RUN AS ADMIN - then
You can navigate to sfcdetails.txt (in C:\Windows\System32) or cbs.log (in C:\Windows\Logs) as needed.
(You may need to search sfcdetails.txt if it is not created in the default folders.)

I hope this helps.

When SFC cannot repair the files, it's time for a repair install from the dvd of the OS.  While you may fix one by one, you never know what else is wrong with the operating system.

  • Corrupted system files can be repaired. SFC/scannow can't fix

I noticed on my installation of Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit that autochk.exe does not work when starting on my C: drive.

I checked my registry BOOTEXECUTE key and it reads as follows:

    BootExecute REG_MULTI_SZ autocheck autochk /p\\? \C:autocheck autochk *.

Autochk would not run at boot time.

I then ran SFC/scannow, it produces the following comes from the CBS.log file:

    How can I fix it?

    Hello

First of all, I suggest to remove the Chkdsk.exe or the program Autochk.exe of scheduled tasks:

Click on start > all programs > Accessories > system tools > scheduled tasks.

Click Chkdsk or Autochk in the list of scheduled tasks > under folder tasks > click Delete this item.

Also, make sure that the registry has the entrance on the right as mentioned below:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager. In the right pane the BootExecute value autocheck autochk *

Then, schedule an autocheck and see if the problem persists.

How to back up and restore the registry?

    Kind regards

  • SFC/scannow found he could not repair corrupted files

    Running Windows7 32 Bit

Found several Pots every 5 to 7 years in which this issue; hoping that there may be a newer better way to solve the problem... so seconded and fingers crossed.

    * PC froze

    * Powered off / Powered it back on

    * Selected Normal boot started fine on the desktop PC

Decided to run sfc/scannow.  "At the end it read: Windows resource Protection found damaged, files but was unable to solve some of them.

Looked at the log CBS.log file.  It might take some time to review and even if I saw it that I would not be able to choose the corrupted files, nor know how to find and replace... and don't know if I was smart enough for that I could even remove and replace the files of the operating system.

I realize I've read in some real old Posts on this topic, maybe some corrupt files are not really necessary or important... but I'd rather have a good job of OS.

So is there a way to better\newer to resolve this issue... instead of finding what could be one is necessary in the files of the boot of Hay, then looking for right files to replace those damaged?

I note an In BONE repair on-site... that worries me, because the software just doesn't do well after a repair on the spot.

Looking for replacement option, and eager to have a BONE without corrupted files and corrupt files... If on-site repair is my only way to go... What are the actual steps not excluded... I have my original Windows7 DVD...

Haven't tried using the system restore, given that this feature would not replace the corrupted files back to a previous restore point...

    Very well.

Chances are that your problem has been created by one or more Windows updates.  Almost everyone who directs that SFC found this pretty.  You can set this way:

Most computers windows 7 who had the Windows installed KB3022345 update will produce the message of irreparable corrupted system files.  You have probably installed this month of may, 2015 update and that's the problem.

To make things worse, it is unlikely an update that you want to, because its purpose is to make it easier for you to upgrade to Windows 10.

While you're there, uninstall these other two updates that have similar objectives: KB3035583 and KB2952664

    1. Control Panel, uninstall a program, view installed updates.

    2. WAIT a long time until you see the green bar in high complete his journey

    3. In the search box, type KB3022345

    4. When it happens, uninstall it.

    5. Close the window

    6. Begin globe, all programs, Windows Update, check the updates.

    7. When he finally find KB3022345, right-click, choose hide.

    8. Rerun the SFC and you will find no problems

It has been widely discussed and publicized.

  • Windows will not update, repair corrupted files, refresh or reset. What I'm doing.

Heyo. Im running windows 8, with about 2000 (I think) corrupted files that it contains. /sfc scannow does not fix any of them. /DISM / /restorehealth/cleanup-image online doesn't solve all these either. I can't update or repair my laptop due to files is corrupt, and all updates (about 52 GB worth of updates accumulate) do not install. I need to solve this problem, because I want to sell this laptop, it is in perfect condition except for these problems. I tried hundreds of ways to solve this problem, and none of them worked. Even tried installing the trial evaluation copy Windows 8.1 to reset my pc, but not even that would install. IM in need you guys. I'd love any help that I can get and will be willing to give something (other than money) if requested :)

Laptop comes with windows pre-installed 8. Need update windows 8.1 update, but it does not.

    Thanks in advance.

Seems to me that your best bet is to contact your computer support and request a set of Recovery Disks.Note that there is usually a small fee for these expenses. Hope this helps and if you need another post to help and we will be happy to help you.

So do I have other options to try to solve my problem?  I have so many things on this computer, I wouldn't lose it and it's on MS office... which is not compatible, I said, with my new laptop with Windows 10

    Thank you

SFC scan & fix windows OS files/folders to a certain extent... SFC finished, it takes

to allow repairs, to do this, once the Sfc is thru, type: CHKDSK C: /F agree to restart, type: EXIT

Restart the pc. At the start of the pc to the top, the CHKDSK runs automatically, it ends then Sfc repairs... In addition, the cmd is Sfc/scannow

  • SFC - Windows Resource Protection found corrupt file but was unable to fix some of them. (Windows 8)

I ran SFC/scannnow in the command prompt (Admin)
Here is the full Error Message:
Windows resource protection found corrupt files but was unable to solve some of them.  Details are provided in convertible bonds. Journal windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.  For example C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.  Note that logging is not currently supported in offline maintenance scenarios.
I saved the CBS file on my desktop and am able to view the log, but am unable to make sense.  Is it possible that I can get someone to look at and possibly help solve the problem?
My computer is running slowly.  75% of the time to reboot or turn off completely and turn on my computer, the screen goes black and won't let me log on.
If there is none I could provide more information, or if there is a way to download the CBS in order to watch it please let me know.
    I appreciate any help!

  • Repair corrupted files?

    Hey guys!

Lately, my captured files were getting corrupted.  They play OK in WMP (with a few small glitches) but they will plant Adobe first Pro CS4 (version 4.1.0).  When the first fails, it gives me a message saying that the AppName: importerprocessserver.exe stopped and must be closed.  Captured files are created uncompressed AVI using a Blackmagic Design intensity Pro card.  I didn't have this problem before and I don't know what is the cause or the other.  As far as I know, is that the files that I capture are somehow have corrupted and I want to be able to correct them.  Is there a way to fix the corrupted files so that I can get back to work until I am able to reformat and start all over again?  So far, the only workaround I found is to cut the pieces corrupt video, but that gets old fast.  Any help is appreciated.

I've read that DivXRepair can repair corrupt AVI files but I wanted to check with you guys before you do all the steps.

Thanks a lot for your time!

    Nice work!

  • Unable to repair corrupt files...

I now have 3 PCs that SFC found corrupt files and that he is unable to remedy. All this seems to coincide with the Windows updates a few months ago. Someone else has the same problem? Does anyone have a solution?

As you guessed, it is almost certainly updated related and seems to have been largely caused by updates about moving to Windows 10 of smoothing. There has been several discussions on this problem of SFC in the Windows Update forum and you will find a lot more on this subject here, but the thread below might be of interest - I will detail how I solved this on my two laptops of W7 * (a Dell - one HP) but there seems to have been various corrections for different users. Updates of June will be available in the coming days and it may be a few bugs (or not!)

See what happens after the new updates and then if you're still worried, perhaps re-post in the forum updated. Best-Ric.
