  Try to push the power cord firmly upward.  It should not move when it is completely inserted.

  Try a reset of the monitor. Unplug the power cord from the monitor and hold the power button of the monitor for 30 to 60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and it lights up.

  There is no built-in way to change this feature. When it is locked, the screen will be black. There may be some 3rd party software that can do this, but it is not supported by Microsoft.
