  • HP laptop - 15-ac613nl: free ram slots

    Hello

I wanted to know how much free RAM slot has the HP for laptop - 15-ac613nl

    Thank you

Based on the specifications of the model, there is a memory module (1) currently installed 4 GB. It seems that this model has two 2 total memory locations. Memory is listed as only part of authorized service provider. It may be possible to upgrade the memory, however there are 56 screws that must be removed, replaced or loosened during authorized maintenance of the parts of one service provider.

  • Use of PersistableRIMKeyStore

I need to register the unit resets generated RSA keys. I guess it must be done with the PersistableRIMKeyStore class, but I couldn't find examples of code explaining how to proceed. I don't understand points special are the requirement that the simpler constructor for this class requires a CodeSigningKey and a PersistableRIMKeyStoreFactory object.

I assumed that the CodeSigningKey should be something I create personally to ensure that my application can access this key file. Instructions are available for how to generate this key?

As for the factory, I see that it is an interface that requires me to implement a createInstance() method - but literature is quite clear on what it would actually do, part of on a level very abstract.

If someone could provide samples of code or advice on how to do that would be much appreciated. The idea crossed my mind of just using the normal persistentStore in conjunction with ControlledAccess, but the existence of the KeyStore classes is probably because the normal persistent store is not a fairly safe place to store the keys?

Edit: after some searching I found this: http://www.blackberry.com/developers/docs/4.3.0api/net/rim/device/api/crypto/doc-files/Tutorial_KeyStore.html but it seems to contain a number of errors (which resembles syntactically invalid Java in places and also said to use a get() method that seems not to exist) and does not have much clearer things. I also found the TrustedKeyStore class, I don't know if I want to use it instead of PersistableRIMKeyStore for my purposes (basically I'm generating a large RSA key, generating it during every execution of the program will take too long, so I want to generate on run first and then store it in the storage of NV, loading from the outside at each launch of the application). The fact that I'm generating the keys locally means that I obviously consider their trust...

Fix.  There are documents on how to set up in the Administrator's guide of signature authority that will generate a .key for you file.  You would then add it to your project in the JDE and you're out of the race.

  • Help with CodeSigningKey and. KEY files

I'm having a lot of trouble trying to encrypt login information I want to store in the PersistentStore.  I tried the rest of this article:

    http://supportforums.BlackBerry.com/T5/Java-development/protect-persistent-objects-from-access-by-UN...

But the first thing he asks you to do is to get a. Since the BlackBerry 'Administration of private key' KEY file tool.  When I ran this tool it does not enter all the information, it shows me just what looks like a dialog box public key with an Email, buttons change password and exit.  Where is the. KEY file?  It is not in the location of the file:

C:\Program search in Motion\BlackBerry password Code signature Authority\data base

I see an 'ID' field with a letter from four ID key, but when I use it in my application I get a result CodeSigningKey.get draw (moduleHandle, "XXXX").

My application has files .csi for the signing of the code to enable it to run on a real phone, which works, I can't generate a .key for use of persistence file.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    -Kevin.

I have it.  It required an uninstall / reinstall in order to work.  I don't know why, but before he had a data directory, but had nothing in it and do not put anything in it.  After reinstalling, it created the data directory and place the .key file and I could continue with the steps and sign my application with my private key.

Thank you very much for the shot, I didn't if I need a server web or not and that he feared IT would not work with Win7 64 bit.

  • Unable to apply security restrictions on creating pages templates and page extraction when using password restricted security in acrobat DC

    Hello

Would appreciate any help with this problem

I have a pdf file that I want to sell as a downloadable file on my etsy shop. It is work of art that I created with a few boxes of form to add names. I want to ensure that the recipient can print pages and fill in the areas of form but do not want to allow, print edition, page extraction or creating pages of models. I use the password restriction option, print - high resolution, change-deposit form fields and signing existing signature fields. Check the box enable access text for screen reading devices, compatibility for Acrobat 7 and later versions and check her encrypt all the contents of the document. After saving the document restrictions summary looks like this:

    Print: authorized

    Change the Document: unauthorized

    Document Assembly: unauthorized

    Copy content: unauthorized

Copy of content for accessibility: allowed

Page extraction: authorized (as this is not allowed)

    Comment: Not allowed

    Filling of form fields: permit

    Signature: authorized

Creation of the template Pages: allowed (that this is not allowed)

I can't work on what I am doing wrong? my mac is Yosemite and I try to use Adobe acrobat free trial version DC (for the moment)

    Thank you very much

    Hi Helen,

I will suggest you to use DRM for it. You can find more information here: (DRM) digital rights development of management plugins | Adobe Developer Connection

  • Help: Question of security properties - creating templates Pages, want to change not allowed

I have my security implemented properties for how I need them with the exception of creating pages of models. I hope someone could help me with this?

    Security method: password security

Can open by: Acrobat 7.0 and later versions

    Print: authorized

    Change the Document: unauthorized

    Document Assembly: unauthorized

    Copy content: unauthorized

Copy of content for accessibility: allowed

    Extraction of page: unauthorized

    Comment: Not allowed

    Filling of form fields: permit

    Signature: authorized

Creation of the template Pages: license (would be like NOT allowed)

I also need to be savable on MAC and PC.

    Thank you in advance!

If your document doesn't have any template pages and you don't have any code that deals with the models, this isn't a problem. Drive can not deal with models, unless the right has been granted by LiveCycle Reader Extensions.

  • I received a signed email (signed by IdenTrust) Thunderbird said the signature is not valid. It says that I do not trust the CERT authority. Help please.

I sent an email signed by my work at home (which uses Thunderbird). I can read the email ok but get the following certificate error message:

This message contains a digital signature, but the signature is not valid. The certificate used to sign the message was issued by a CA that you do not trust to issue this type of certificate.

The issuing authority is: IdenTrust ECA 3

How can I alleviate this problem? I need send emails encrypted back, but without this work, it is impossible.

    Thanks in advance.

You must have the root CA cert in the store of certificates of Thunderbird on the References tab.
The error message indicates that the cert is, but you need to change the trust.

  • Order of signature (RDK / author)

Can anyone confirm that the order that you sign your package .bar is important?

When I author signs the package and thereafter sign the whole with the RDK, I get the following error:

"Digest for manifest main attributes invalid signature file.

If I reverse the order, i.e. RDK first and create the last.   The package checks ok.

(Sorry for the double post - I posted in the wrong section earlier)

My apologies, I completely reversed those two.  Sorry about that.  I have corrected my post above.  You see the expected behavior.

I finally got it to work!

With Windows process monitor, I was able to find out where he was really looking for the key signature files.

Turns out it was looking for them on the remote network drive, although HOMEPATH is simply pointing to ' / '.

I have now copied the three files to a new folder \\server\share\username\AppData\Local\Research in Motion\. For me, which did the trick.

  • signature. What is 'Initialize communication with RIM® signing authority.

Hi, as the title suggests, what is 'Initialize communication with RIM® signing authority?

It is the number from step 2 by signing the app. These steps has no explanation of how to take the step, he said only: "Initialize communication with RIM® signing authority.

Sorry to be so n00bish please help me!

    Hey,.

Since you did not even registration to the registry, you can do this through Flash Builder. Save the .csj file, you have received by e-mail somewhere, and then follow the steps detailed here:

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/developers/deliverables/23959/Configure_app_signing_FB401_1473166_11.j...

After you do the stuff cert developer, you can probably ignore the part on the proxy stuff and continue to the next part.

I read somewhere on the forum that is signed apps get reviewed more quickly in writing MShom (from what I remember). We still do not know wat the deal with the approval time is but signature cant hurt our chances right? haha

  • Secure boot requires firmware which supports UEFI followed the v2.3.1 Errata B and has the authority of Certification Microsoft Windows in the base of signatures UEFI

What does that mean? I want to upgrade to Windows 8 and it's what came when I bought the program online "secure boot requires firmware which supports UEFI followed v2.3.1 Errata B and has the authority of Certification Microsoft Windows in the UEFI signatures database... Thøis means that my laptop is not compatible? is there something I can do to fix it so I can get windows 8?

Secure boot is a protocol feature not a Windows 8 of UEFI recent incidents made of PC/Laptop, etc. This is a feature implemented in the BIOS of a PC/laptop.

Old PC do not have this in the setup of the BIOS, so it cannot be used.

You have been informed that Secure Boot is not part of the BIOS, you may not use the feature.

No have Secure Boot will not in any way affect the installation / execution of the W8.

Here's a technical explanation of Secure Boot, read if you like:

    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/B8/archive/2011/09/22/protecting-the-pre-OS-environment-with-UEFI.aspx

My own PC (4) have no function and use W8 (evaluation version of various) for more than 12 months, even once is not a problem.
