Slide the break to move the mouse

I want to create an interactive slide that tells a student to move the mouse to a specific area on the screen. In doing so, the presentation will continue. I can only do this with a combination of keys or click of a mouse now.

Any suggestions?

I created a widget that would do this for example Captivate 1 HERE
It also works with Captivate 2

  • I need to register the movements of the mouse ON the video

    Hello!

I made an animation moch-up of my web application. Now, I need a certain way records mouse movements, and I want to save a living mouse movements.

    I found this tutorial:

After Effects Tutorial: movements of the realistic slider - YouTube

I use EI 'Motion Scetch' characteristic. But I can't have a video layer in the back PLAYING at the same time.

I need mouse record ON video that play at the same time.

    How can I do this?

    Pekka

I'm not sure you understand completely Motion Sketch. If you have already registered or made your video demo, you can put it in AE and sketch of movement allows you to move your virtual mouse on the background. The problem with Motion Sketch, is that you do not get a preview of the video.

I would like to invest in a program like ScreenFlow or Camtasia and make screenshot this direct. AE does not have this feature and animating the mouse movements by hand for a 10-minute demonstration video can easily you take 20 hours.

If you have something like Adobe XD used for the design of your web application, then you can record directly from this application.

  • The mouse launch point for slide in the wrong place, can not be moved?

    Hello world

I'm back in Captivate after some time away and I thought that it was possible to move the starting point of a mouse, but can't seem to do it.

I use 7 Captivate. The sequence of the slide is crossing the scroll bar, scroll down, then come back to the left to click on a link. For some reason any on this third slide, the path of the mouse starts up in the upper left corner. I guess it's possible, that there was a foreign slide between the roller and the slide of problem I deleted what is causing the problem, I do not remember.

If I move the 3rd slide the rim, I can use the "align to previous slide' for her to start where it should, but I can't stay there, when I step back, and if I try this alignment after the slide of scroll, he puts it in the upper left corner even.

I searched the Web and saw a mention of the abduction of a cache, so I did, but it did not help. I looked through the forum messages and doesn't seem all that has been useful in this regard.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Thank you!

Since the second slide (scrolling) is animated (full movement), there is no layer of real mice, right?

So the third slide is not a starting point.

    Try...

'Mouse show' on this second slide and place it at the end of the timeline to a very short length, it seems very quickly where the full-motion-ends-up mouse.

If this does not work, take a still shot of the last image of the slide of the query and make a new slide 3, 'See the mouse' and the mouse should stick to the position that you place (i.e. above the place where the mouse has ended on the previous slide in the query).

  • the mouse movement is not displayed when you preview the project and after publication

I missed a step when you change a demo of simulation? Here's the problem:

When I edit in the timeline of a slide, I can move the appearance of the mouse movement and change the length of its duration; I can click on "show/hide elements" for the mouse, the text caption and select box to show or hide in the slide.

All the changes reflect in preview > play Slide. But in preview > project or preview > in the browser or publish it to any format, except for the presence has changed and the duration of the movement of the mouse shows, others seem out of my control: 1) no mouse movement; (2) the pointer still displays its final position on the slide since the beginning of the slide; (3) the hidden nail box appears.

    That's happened?

I come off some defect? Where is it?

    Thank you!

Your question is not quite clear to me, but this sentence "I can click on" show/hide elements "for the mouse, the text caption and select box to show or hide the slide." is ring a Bell! Have you used the "eye" icon in the timeline panel to "hide" the objects? That is not intended to hide the version published, only to temporarily hide for editing purposes, have has too many objects on the slide. If you really want to hide an object permanently, so it does not appear after the publication or during a preview (play Slide is not a preview, is also only for editing, synchronization) you must use the 'other' "eye" icon you will find at the top left of the properties of this object Panel. Quite confusing to have twice the same button to completely different purpose (there is even a third version in Drag Drop & who still has another feature, just hide the links in the D & D).

  • Firefox does not load pages unless moves the mouse or keyboard is pressed

    Hello

I saw this problem listed several times before this post, but none of the solutions have helped me.

I am using Firefox for ages and the latest 3 updates or so were expose this problem. When I try to load a website, Firefox will start to takes me to the page and then hang. The circle in the tab will stop moving and it will stay there until I move the mouse or press a key on the keyboard. As long as the mouse moves permanently or the keyboard keys are pressed, the page will load very well. The same thing happens with YouTube. The video starts and then freeze unless the keyboard/mouse is moved. Firefox also has this problem when I try to download a file from a Web site. The download starts and then hang on until I move the mouse or press a button, then it will continue for a few seconds and hang on again until I repeat the movement of the mouse or press the keyboard button.

So far, I tried to update Firefox, Java and Flash; Starting Firefox in Safe Mode; uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox: do a complete uninstall and reinstall of Firefox with removing profile and creation. I ran ad next and malware detection with no infection found tools: Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, SuperAntispyware, and AdwCleaner scan Microsoft security, Windows Defender, Spybot Search & Destroy, utility Kasperky free Security Scan and Anti-rootkit TDSSKiller.

The only thing I tried that 'seemed' to work was from Windows Mode safe mode with networking and run Firefox there. I was able to watch YouTube videos without freezing and websites seem to load properly. Of course, I can't run in Mode safe all the time.

I've attached a screenshot of what it looks like when Firefox crashes on Google News. Note that the images in part loading, but a good number of them is waiting or not loaded.

I hope someone can help me, because I like Firefox and I wouldn't switch to Chrome or (shudder) IE.

Thank you in advance for your help!
