Slow connection internet HP 8 windows

Hi, 3 days ago, I received my new hp with windows 8. Every time that I start a connection to my router I was getting 3 Mbps, then it comes down to one on and outside 100 Kbps ~ 30 kbps. I tried to disable allow the computer to turn off adapter when idle, update drivers (of Broadcom Bluetooth software was not necessary because I don't have bluetooth capabilities) even the change in my recent attempt to change the encryption used by my router and network protocols. AES (to tpik) I'm at my wits end with windows 8 (or whatever the problem). No solution or help that will lead me to a solution will be greatly appreciated. Computer: HP ENVY 17 t-j000 CTO Quad Edition Notebook PC OS: Windows 8 and here is the page drivers incase it is necessary http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?os=4132&lc=en&cc=us&dlc=en&sw_lang=&product=5388...

The problem with my internet connection was apparently because the network driver I. It becomes unstable at long distance (more than 30 feet with no obstacles).

  • Why slow internet speeds of Windows 8?

Do a search on any search engine, and you will see that Windows 8 is considerably slowing down internet connections and each each Web site (within a Web site velocities are not too bad), no matter how the settings and adjustments are made to the configuration of a computer. Microsoft seems determined to deny this reality - but we users many would prefer that she in fact invests the time and energy to a difficulty. I have a brand new HP Envy h8 - 1520t, inflated and loaded with all the bells and bells, including a "Premium" LAN card The new HP is sitting in the room of a machine from DELL (Windows Vista) absolute Core Duo for eight years that whips its tail on the internet high speed. Basically, Windows 8 stinks. If I had known it was this bad, I would have ordered a Windows 7 machine on clearance and saved a ton. I adjusted limit bandwidth, network, power saving mode settings, etc. and increased my internet cable feeds at 30 MB/s with the addition of power and a new modem/router - but Windows 8 it always chokes down so that the internet creeps into my new computer out of breath. Online gambling is, as are streaming videos (for example, ESPN, NASCAR, etc.) and other features "live." And I just dropped more $2 K if I could have anyone.

How long until what Microsoft offers a patch?

For me, I tried all the fixes I could find and nothing has worked. Turns, the brand new computer was worse than the old windows wireless adapter 7 that was fast. I ended up spending my extension wireless in the room with my laptop and then using an ethernet cable for the laptop the Wireless extender. Problem solved. I hope this helps others who hide their laptop and use another monitor, a keyboard and a wireless mouse.

    Hi LucD,

    I've found a workaround:

When I run the import-PSSnapin I noticed (with wireshark) a lot of traffic failed to WAN addresses, so I set myself, in Internet Options a false proxy (127.0.0.1), excluding the proxy DNS of my domain active directory name (so I can connect to the virtual center without going through the wrong proxy)

Now is the time of execution:

  • No Internet after October Windows 7 update

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit. 10/13/2010 my computer has installed several Windows updates. Immediately after the restart, I couldn't have an internet connection on Firefox (or Explorer or other).

Problemmatic computer is a brand new Dell XPS 7100.  It came with a 15-month McAfee subscription, which I immediately enabled to connect to the internet.  I am connected to the internet via an ethernet cable, attached to a Belkin Wireless Pre - N Router.  My old computer is also connected via ethernet to the same router and works fine.  Wireless on this router also work with a macbook.

I tried to connect my cable modem directly to the Dell printer, but also without result.

    Any thoughts?
