Smart keyboard does not not since 9.3.2 update

Since the update to 9.3.2 my Smart keyboard has been a disaster.  It is rarely recognized by my iPad to 12.9 "Pro.  I need to completely remove and reset several times before my iPad it will resume.  Then half of the time, I get an error message saying that the product is not authentic.  At best, I got it work for 30 seconds at a time.  I checked the smart connector on the iPad and keyboard and they are both virgins and like new condition.

I use my iPad all day every day for life / school / work, but I really took great care of her.  I have never dropped it and it goes into my case of the laptop when you move.

I'll probably try going back to 9.3.1 later, but I'd like to get some feedback on this.

This is not an option.

Have what troubleshooting steps you taken? Honestly, I suspect that a problem of material with the keyboard. If it were me, I'd do an appointment at the Genius Bar at my local Apple store.

Smart keyboard on the iPad (in English) does not change after updating to iOS 10, put in language. He's stuck in English. Pressing on the globe (change language button) displays the language menu, but after selecting the language, the keyboard is still in English.

I have reset all settings. Erase all keyboards, adding them again.

Any ideas? Does anyone have the same problem?

Howdy, rapretzan! Thank you for using the Apple support community!

Great work to solve your problem until now! Apparently to reset all the settings and erasing/re-adding keyboards for iPad Pro still isn't allowing you to change the language since the upgrade to iOS 10. I'll be happy to help you.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - in order to get your keyboard working properly, I'll have reinstall you the iOS. Please backup your personal data to keep it safe.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - you will need to use iTunes on a computer to clear completely your iPad you can install a new copy.

The first time, select "Set up as new iPad" and ignore connecting them to iTunes and App Store and iCloud. See if you are able to get back with your Smart keyboard languages. If you are, go to the next step.

  • Keyboard does not work with hotmail since rebranding

    Hotmail and keyboard

Hotmail still has a slow/delayed response when you type this year but now since the rebranding of hotmail, my keyboard does not work in hotmail.  I need to hit each button several times until the key is recognized.  The delay was bad enough, but now I might have to switch to another email, due to the fact that I don't have time to keep hammering at keys to enter a message in hotmail.  It is a charging problem important programming/server which is beyond the control of the user.

Generally there is nothing wrong with the TV if the Cloud Smart TV service is not running.

  • Keyboard does not not on Tecra 8100

    Hello

My daughter has a Tecra 8100. Not sure if it is virused, but the keyboard does not work. Powers up fine, although slow, is usual (Spybot, CA anti-virus) virus scans - can't find anything, but still no keyboard. Ran a keyboard diagnostic and it says it works very well. Any ideas? (PS ideas where to get a recovery for the 8100 disk, can't find mine anywhere?) Thank you.

PPS: Since then found that when I start in safe mode, I can use the keyboard? But why only in safe mode?

    Hello

I think there must be a corrupt keyboard driver file or the keyboard has been disabled in the HWsetup Toshiab.
Check the HWsetup and activate the keyboard in the opposite case, a new facility would solve that problem.

But before you try to install the OS you can try to use the System Restore tool for Win XP.

PS: the Toshiba Recovery CD can be ordered from the Toshiba service provider in your country.

  • Keyboard does not work properly

    Hello

I had trouble getting my laptop satellite to initialize. Recovery disks & pressing F keys weren't working so I decided to open the laptop to see if there are any loose connections. To my surprise, the laptop seems to work again once I had the USB keys and put back them in! Unfortunately, before that I did, I opened the keyboard and peeked inside.

When I booted up and tried to use the keyboard keys half of their work and the other half seem to think that they represent two other keys for example if I type the letter 'E' I get '3' and '-' as a whole. After 5-10 minutes the entire keyboard will become totally unresponsive until I restart again. Of course, I think I've done something here because this problem since I opened the bottom of the keyboard. This could be a hardware failure I have caused or is anyway that this issue can be resolved without replacing anything?

    Thank you very much

    Tom

    Hi Tom

Theoretically, it might be just a connection lost between the keyboard and the motherboard, but I'm afraid, it can be a serious problem of m.
Maybe you have damaged the connector of the keyboard cable or something similar, and not the keyboard does not work properly.

I think the keyboard needs to be replaced to check if only this part is affected

  • T410 doesn't start, white screen and the keyboard does not power on.

Hi, my laptop Lenovo T410 does not start. I hit the power button and looks like it is about to start. The thinklight flashes on as normal, the cd drive is checked, the caps lock on, then nothing/button blinks. No display and the keyboard does not respond. Power led lights up; If I leave it awhile the fan turns on. Can I stop the machine using the power button, but the problem remains the next time I turn it on.

I tried to remove power and battery, power 10 button time then with the power to 30 seconds, before replacing the power supply and the battery but nothing happens. I tried to use a different keyboard. I tried to plug in an external monitor. No change.

This problem appeared after I left it on overnight. I have the feeling that it entered into hybernation mode, perhaps, and that it disturbed some important functions which he could not complete. Not sure if. Any help gratefully received.

    Thank you very much

    Pete

It's the original configuration of your laptop:

    ThinkPad T410 2522BF1
    i5 - 520 M (2.4 GHz), 4 GB RAM, 160 GB 7200 RPM HD, 14.1 in. LCD 1280 x 800, Intel 5700MHD, DVD, Intel 802.11agn Wireless Modem, 1 Gb Ethernet, UltraNav smart, secure, camera, 6 c Li-ion, Win7 Pro 32

I firstly the LCD cable or secondary LED could be damaged, but if you don't see anything on an external monitor I tend to think it's a motherboard problem.

Last thing you could try putting running a Live Distro Linux from a CD/DVD or USB drive, using Ubuntu or Linux Mint, for example.

So, I hope that the next solution can help me... - thanks-

    Hello

    (1) since when are you facing this problem?

    (2) remember to make changes?

This seems to be a hardware issue, contact Acer to support more specialized on this issue.

The following steps are worth a try:

You can check whether your keyboard works before starting Windows. To do this, you can try to enter in safe mode

Start the computer in safe mode. To do this, follow the steps below:

Access Advanced Startup menu options by turning on your computer and pressing the button F8 continuously until Windows starts. In the boot advanced options, select Mode safe

    Startup options (including safe mode)

I would like to know if your keyboard works in safe mode.

  • Key ESC Office keyboard does not work on desktop running Windows 7 Pro 64 x

Key ESC Office keyboard does not work on desktop running Windows 7 Pro 64 x

Now, it's a boring, which several other users have reported under different threads. Because I couldn't find a post with quite similar symptoms, I made my own topic.

I am running Windows 7 Professional 64 x on an old one (Intel Quad-Core, 4 GB RAM, 524 GB HDD - in case, for reasons unknown to me, someone needs to know it...) , DellXPS system. Not more than a few weeks ago my home button keyboard unresponsive on this system.

I did a lot of troubleshooting, but these measures have been carried out:
    * Tested keyboard on the other system, touch ESC WORKS on the other system
    * Reinstalled keyboard and USB drivers on the XPS system, ESC key does NOT WORK on the XPS system
    * Connected to a never-before-used USB keyboard, ESC key does NOT WORK on the XPS system
    * Opened and cleaned the keyboard, tested, Escape key WORKS, Don't DO NOT WORK on the XPS system
    * Tested in various applications: Desktop (Esc will close the start menu), Photoshop, Vegas, Notepad, games full screen OpenGL,Escape key does NOT WORK on the XPS system
    * Google for possible solutions, none found...

Note: Highlights show where the ESC key does not work. I am troubled by the XPS system.

In case you missed it my list of troubleshooting steps, the ESC key works on another computer of Windows 7 system.

I have to still garble my self through the registry in the hope that someone might have an idea of the steps to follow before I lose a day to see the things that I honestly know squat. Please help if you can; What could be the issue/common application that separates this key in the Windows world and how could I solve this problem?

    Thank you in advance!

    For reference,.
No major changes have been made since the keyboard unresponsive with the exception of:
Updates to FireFox (including modules Ad-Block Plus, NoScript, which have also been updated).
    Windows Update
A 10.x MB World of Warcraft patch/update on a keyboard AFTER week unresponsive

Already installed the patches StarCraft II and World of Warcraft, which none touched my keyboard to my knowledge. I finished almost all of StarCraft II and had no problems...

I know it's a bit old, but I was living the question myself.  Thought I had found the problem and it was fixed but then it happened again.  Came to find out (by closing a program and test the ESC key) it's because Photoshop.

With the help of Photoshop, which could match the case you mention.  Not only that but I did a search ('ESC' does not not Photoshop) and stumbled on some answers/solutions workaround for it.  One is to use SHIFT + ESC ESC does not work.

Hope this helps someone.  I fell it using my original research ("Windows 7" BSE "ESC" keyboard does not) and know that others are likely to see.  If you have not already learn the cause, in the year + since your original message, then voila.

  • Hello.. I have laptop (hp probook 4520 s), keyboardis does not.

Hello.. I have laptop (hp probook 4520 s), keyboardis does not. only the letters 'B' and 'n' How do I reactivate? because when I use a keyboard external usb it works? Help, please

    Helder salvation,

Did you of recent changes made to your computer?

We will reinstall the internal keyboard drivers and check.

    a. click Start, type Control Panel in the search box, press enter, click System, click Device Manager, click on keyboard.
    b. you should find the internal keyboard part as well as any external keyboard used.
    c. right-click on the keyboard integrated in the list, click on uninstall.
    d. unplug the external keyboard.
    e. restart the computer and check if the keyboard internal works.

Since the external USB keyboard works, if drivers did not fix the internal keyboard problem, I suggest you to contact the manufacturer to check if there is a hardware problem.

    Hope the above information helps.

  • Keyboard does not in the guest windows 10

    Hello

A newbie to mac but a long-time windows user, so feel free to be as technical as possible. After more than 10 years on windows, finally decided to pull the plug and switch completely to a mac. Since I had to give my old windows PC (Windows 64-bit 10), I used the coverter free vcenter to perform a P2V from my windows PC conversion. The resulting virtual machine was created as virtual machine VMware fusion 8 compatible.
