  Hi all

  I hope someone can help me with this. I'm pretty new to BlackBerry, but I guess that this may not be the problem with this question.

  Now to my problem:

  When I sync my music between iTunes and the media syncing tool and then open the playlist 'Music' said ist that all files are found, of course some are not compatible. But when I check this 'Music' playlist and then synchronize it with my "BOLD" it copies only 81 on about 1200 records. The (for me) is a surprising thing about it, Sync files are .m4a-files only. When I opened the 'no Sync Files' upward - Dialogue, she says that all other files are not found. My music is stored on a networkdrive but I don't think this is the problem because the .m4a-files may also be stored there.

  All the software used are v4.6.0.162 to update on the device and synchronization of media has been downloaded before about 2, 5: 00. I use Vista Home Basic and checked the compatibility for XP (SP2). I hope that's all the information you need. If not, I'll try to complete their .

Mass storage is turned on, the card holder is on, auto enable mass storage mode when it is connected to the command prompt, but it does not prompt even when I connect my "BOLD" 9000.On 6.0.0.40 Office Manager, it shows that you need to turn on your device mass storage! but its on. have tried to install the usb drivers still does not not my software device is worm 5 Please help anyone.

  You are able to see the BlackBerry as a removable disk in the computer / workstation? You can check that the Mass Storage does not work on the device by tests on another PC? If the device is not detected as a drive, check the properties of your device to match the screenshot in this article then backup your device and go through the steps of resolution. It should work with your version of the Desktop software as well as the versions listed in the article. http://bit.LY/g235ca

• Sync media of Smartphones from blackBerry Pearl 8100 and Vista Home Premium

  I would use Media Sync with my Pearl 8100, but I can't get the app to load.  I downloaded the application on my desktop and double-click on the file to begin the installation.  Vista immediately gives me a warning window stating that "BlackBerryMediaSync.exe is not a valid Win32 application".  New in BlackBerry App world, I assumed I had to use Desktop Manager to deploy the program on my phone first, maybe.  Of course, the .exe file is not even appear as an option when you use the Application Loader because it is not a type of files .alx or .ali file.

  Thus, MediaSync can even run on a 64 bit system?  I'm doing something wrong?

  Now, I could use the Media Manager to transfer mp3 files and listen to them on my Pearl, but I prefer to use Media Sync to sync with iTunes.

  Solved the problem.  The downloaded file has been apparently damaged or incomplete, and that's what caused the error "invalid Win32 application."  I've downloaded the file again and everything works fine.

  I have Storm (9500) and I tried a few hours transfer photos from my card to my PC media. Whenever I connect to Media Sync with my Storm, I get a message saying my device is not recognized and to ensure that the card is inserted correctly etc.

  Here's what I did and I still got the same message.

  Supported media card and reinserted it

  Out of the battery and reinserted it

  on all parameters (memory Options)

  Auto enable mass Sttorage Mode when connected is set to Yes

  Tried to connect to all the USB ports on the PC (I have 4)

  PC OS is Windows 7

  I checked all possible updates on BlackBerry (office, device and Media Sync) software, I have a completely storm in terms of software updates.

  So, if someone has experienced this problem and how do you propose fixing?

  The BlackBerry needs to be on to connect to the computer in mass storage.

  If you have tried the fix while the unit has been turned off, you can run with the BlackBerry under tension.

  I'm having a problem where Media Sync read / see my iTunes playlist but all items are grayed out.  Previous assignments, I saw that DRM can cause this problem but have the files on a network drive, it will do the same.  These are NOT DRM, so that shouldn't be the problem.  They ARE on a shared network drive by 2 computers.  I have more than 30 GB of music I want to pull down on a local drive.  Has anyone seen any resolution to this problem?

  Network drives do not work.

  If you map the drive to a drive letter, I think it works around that.

  I deleted my category of personal contacts in MS outlook. When I sync my outlook 8330 wants to delete my personal entries in my blackberry contacts. I've used legacy replace outlook in the Panel of conflicts, but I get the same message. I'm afraid to accept the chages because I don't want to lose my blackberry contacts. I use 4.5.0.77 software and version 4.7 of office.

  When I first connect my BB for my laptop, I am presented with the possibility of using the media card on the phone as a USB device.

  Sorry, no... Once you refuse, which remains in force for the duration of the session. So a new session needs to be generated, which requires the Quick disconnect/reconnect the USB cable.

  I just downloaded the new Blackberry Desktop Manager Mac and synced my "BOLD", then I was stupid enough to upgrade the software on the "BOLD". It was 4.6.0.126... after a while the Office Manager gave me a message that it was unable to complete the upgrade. The "BOLD" ended with a whitescreen, a list of the applications and the 4.0.0.245 BlackBerryPlatform at the top of any time I try to select one from the list, I get a variety of error 'uncaught exception' message etc. When I try to reload the old OS, "BOLD" does not connect (even though my MAC initially recognises there is a plugged USB cable.)

  Bright ideas? up until now, I liked my "BOLD"...

  I did a reset after updating Poynt and an icon to beat Social appeared under the application. Apparently, Verizon pushed this app on my device. After clicking on the app, it opens the browser and gives me a 404 error message. After going to they're website where they confirm that the software works on a storm2 I clicked download which took me to the verizon media page that then said that the program is not available for my device the storm2. I don't see a way to remove this app anyone know how?

  From what you described, there is no application installed to remove. The WHAT VZW pushes icon is a shortcut to the app DL/install, which seems to be missing in your case. Carriers push these teaser icons all the time and, as far as I can tell, are completely under the terms of their contract to do. Therefore, it has nothing to do on these icons teaser. I keep a folder on my home screen to the icons 'junk' of the things that I don't want to see.

  Go to profiles > up to advanced > press the menu button on a profile > edit > change everything you want and add a ringtone for this feature.

  Hello.  I recently installed Dektop Manager 5.0 and met performance problems when my computer starts.  My Internet connection is displayed as it is disconnected for several minutes after the start of my Windows Vista Premium Home Edition SP2 system.  The small icon in the taskbar with the computer has a red top 'x' and the network connection does not seem to be able to be operated for the next two or three minutes.  I aso has encountered this problem when I previous had DM 4.6.  Any suggestions?

  I close this thread because the problem resolved itself.  The security updates I got Windows Update may had somethng to do with this...
