  • Full duplex VoIP is possible

    Hi all

It is true. We have done it. You too can have a VoIP application in no time.

Firstly, thank you champions of blackberry java (you will know if you are one of them ) scattered many excellent tips on all kinds of topics through the forum. This community is really a source of inspiration.

    OK, here's the meat:

We have developed a full-duplex *real* motor VoIP and packed in a sloppy VoIP SDK engine. I insist on this point: "He does NOT GSM at all!"

The VoIP engine is packaged as a library that can be included in your existing (or newly created) application GUI + transport hull, and - voila! -your VoIP application is running. You audio experience great and a small delay consistent with the VoIP standards.

The first version does not include RTP and transport, but soon to be a part of the engine. Not to drag this discussion too long, you can see, hear, learn and even test yourself at www.fgmicrotec.com demo application

    Happy coding!

so bad, I had time to do it myself, but good to see that you have managed. I will contact you

  • Full duplex to BlackBerry JDE 4.7

    Hello

I know that his duplex (play and record at the same time) is not supported in BlackBerry JDE 4.6.

I saw the article - "not sure I have it is a bug or a feature. We use two players: one for record, another for reading ', but I couldn't find the solution.

Does anyone know how to implement the application with the duplex sound?

Alternatively, the BlackBerry JDE 4.7 does support duplex sound?

    Thank you.

    Best regards, Ricos.

Yes. It is possible. Play and record on two separate applications. Oh, make basic applications.

  • When I change my nic to 1000 Mb, Full Duplex in the vSwitch/network settings on the NETWORK adapter card breaks down.

I should be able to do so if the server has Gigabit NIC right?  Or am I just confused?  It seems to stay on 100 full, but it seems that things have been a bit slow on my virtual server, so I tried everything I can think of.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

I should be able to do so if the server has Gigabit NIC right?

Yes.  What is the physical switch on?

    Good luck!

  • What phones are full duplex supported?

In some messages, I saw this comment

The behavior you see here may vary according to the model of smartphone BlackBerry due to the fact that it is mainly based on the underlying hardware of the BlackBerry smartphone.  Recording and simultaneous playback is possible on some models, however that a codec can be used at the same time.  This means that you need to record and play using the same audio format.

I want to know the material of which phones take to support this behavior?

    Thank you

    Murat

I don't think that there is a complete list, but in general, it is CDMA and GSM phones.  CDMA phones that have all the limitation, while GSM phones (for the most part) recording and simultaneous playback support.  I don't know how the iDen fits in.

  • Record Full Duplex and ADR Workflow in Premiere Pro CC

    Hi, I use CC v10.3.

Trying to find best workflow for ADR only not sure if I need to do this first or hearing.

I'm unable to mute the audio channel that I record in first that causes a signal delayed voice back to the screen. The talent is to hear the microphone input AND the delayed signal. Is there a way to re - route the output of the channel I record to so it will be no power to the monitor when recording? In Pro Tools, I just mute the channel, but when I do it in first, it will not register. I also tried to play the channel that we replace and even once, it will not record solo.

I use a mixer with an additional bus (running the entry to 3-4 mike hand out is 1-2 Try to find a way to monitor the mic input and output channel (as if recording on a bed of music you want to listen to everything by expressing sound) without hearing the voice channel I record on.

    Any suggestions?

  • half-duplex configuration 9871

I am trying to configure a NI 9871 4 ports 485 series add-on half-duplex communication with non-echo.  My problem is that I can not understand how to select the transmitter/receiver mode.  Table 3 of the manual (http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/372277e.pdf) shows four different modes, but it's a mystery to me how to set the mode.  The module is currently in mode 4-wire where the receiver is still active (if I connect the lines TX & RX, I recover what I send.)   I would like to be in car 2-wire mode.   Can someone point me in the right direction?

BTW: I use a cRIO-9075 mode of scanning and using Labview 2012 SP1 (windows), in the case where that matters.

    Thank you.

    Hi Tomherron,

If you use the Scan Mode you can set the Mode of the transceiver using a VISA property node. The process would be:

    (1) place a property node VISA on the block diagram of your application.

"" 2) click on the property node and select: Select property "parameters set" thread Mode. This will allow you to set or get the wiring for a particular port mode. In addition, allows you to have different modes of thread for different ports.

    (3) right-click and select any change in writing.

"(4) the method of wire with the right button and select Create ' constant.

    (5) to choose what transceiver mode you want to use, click on the constant.

  • Windows Vista cannot access the internet, the link speed and Duplex negotiation seems to be the problem

I have a desktop running Windows Vista Home basic and I can't connect to the internet through a local network, which is connected through a router (Belkin). Adapter type is Internet: Intel 825562V-210/100

After consultations with the support of technichal society of router and my PC vendor, it seems that there is aproblem with negotiating the link speed. Here are some symptoms:

    I can access the internet if I connect the cable directly to the modem;

Connected through the router, I can sometimes connecting to the internet if Imaually change settings of connection speed (10 / 100 Mbps, half/full duplex)

    All other PC connected to the network, using Win Vista and throuhg connected to the same router, have access to the network;

    If I connect my network cable to another PC, it will have access to the internet;

The status of my PC seems to be 'connected' on the site of implementation of routers. The State of my connection is sometimes "Local only" sometimes "Local and Internet", but in fat, there is no internet access.

    I tried the following:

Trouobleshooting under the direction of the technical support of the router and PC vendor.

Update the operating system to restore to an earlier date, to restore to the factory settings; Reformatting my PC 2 times, (first internet worked for a few hours only); update the OS (by connecting directly to the modem); Turning off Win Defender, removing software antivirus. Reset LAN connection...

    Any suggestion please?

    New router solved the problem.

Thanks a lot, especially Jack :-).

It is very likely that the provider has configured its device for 100 Mbps, which was compatible with the interface of your FE 1841. If you configure the 1921 at a fixed speed of 100 Mbps and full-duplex, it should probably work.

  • Duplex mode?

    Dear team,

one of my vmnic shows me 100 half duplex if I put the same Auto negotiate, to 100 FUL harcode to 100FULL forcefully then it shows vmnic 100 FULL duplex. Can u please help me what is the problem

    untitled.JPG

    Concerning

    MrVMware

A possible reason is that the switch port is on hard full duplex, this will make your esxi to half when using auto mode.

  • Duplex mode or physical switch

    VMware dear Experts,

My vmnic can support the connection of 1 GB, this is the snapshot of the same thing.

    vmnics.JPG

but when I see vmnic0 in networking vswitch page it shows 100 complete, here is the snap of the same thing.

    Duplex.JPG

but when I try to reconfigure the 100 to 1000 Full duplex, the connection of vmnic is broken / disconnected, please help me with the same.

    Concerning

    MrVMware

If this does not work in full mode 100 should not be expected to work in 1000 complete without changes in the configuration of the physical switch.

I recommend you to make sure that the physical switch is set to AUTO and set the same on the ESXi vmnic. There is very little reason these days of hard to set the duplex mode.

  • No sound while recording with Windows Vista

    Hello!

Thanks in advance for the help!

I have a new 430 of XPS from Dell running Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

I try to save and the external audio source (old audio cassettes) using audio recordings of Vista. I am inputing the audio using the socket "line in" on the back of the computer.  The Visual meter shows a signal is present, and I can save, save and playback of the audio file after it is saved.  The problem is that I can't hear any sound when recording from an external audio source.  I check in 'Sounds' in the Panel, and in 'line' monitor shows it receives a signal (and the level is turned up), but nothing is heard in real-time.  No speakers are silent. All the other sounds of the computer, MP3 and CD is heard without difficulty.  When I do a check for speaker under 'Sounds', the speakers work fine.  But I hear no audio registration until after I record the signal.

The computer is only 2 months old, and I've never been able to hear any audio registration in real time.  This isn't something that just stopped working.

I also use Total Recorder 7.1 and I have the same problem.  Total Recorder sees the external audio input signal and saves it.  But I do not what I did until I have read the saved file.  With Windows XP I always heard an external audio input as soon as I plugged the audio source, but so far it does not the same under Vista.

Device Manager tells me that my sound card and driver are operating normally.

Any ideas anyone?  Is there a change in Vista compared to XP?  Have they blocked the monitoring in real time because of some problems of conflicts or comments?  I'm just guessing.

    Thank you!!!

    Dan

    http://en.community.Dell.com/forums/t/19250187.aspx?c=us&l=en&CS=04&s=BSD

Solution seems to be to disable the integrated sound card and buy a PCI sound card. Good news is that they are cheap.

Just to be sure, it is the last driver I could find at Dell

    http://support.us.Dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&CS=04&l=en&s=BSD&ReleaseID=R190321&formatcnt=1&LIBID=0&FILEID=261430

I suspect the integrated sound card is not full duplex or the available driver is unable to drive. The first is my best guess.

So the bottom line is that you need a PCI Full Duplex sound card that works with 64-bit windows. The highest and digital sample rate 24 - bit is better, but I don't know it wouldn't be difficult to exceed the specifications on board. Rob - support element, Cascade Bicycle Club P.O. • AirPlay - aTV video, sound effects for AExpress: does not work with large files

    Hello!

    My setup

    • Internett--> modem (Cisco?) --> a/c Airport Extreme (latest high version)
    • iMac, iPad, 2 x iPhones. iMac installed Beamer.
    • Bedroom: AppleTV 3rd GEN rev A - hdmi--> LG TV (old). AirPlay ON, 'Apple TV room '. Connected to the local network of 5 GHz.
    • Bedroom: AirportExpress 1st GEN 802.11 a/b/g N-Draft (last type of those that go right into the socket) with AirPlay - stereo--> stereo BOSE. AirPlay ON, 'room '. Connected to the local network of 5 GHz I also tried to connect 2.4 GHz network, no significant variation...
    • Living room: AppleTV 4th Gen. - hdmi--> LG TV (new). AirPlay ON, "iTV."

    Problem (abridged version)

Most of the time - but not every time - when I stream video + audio iMac to aTV and choose to listen to the audio portion of the aTV to a separate AExpress (which is connected to a better BOSE audio system), the movie will not play. Streaming both audio and video - and only - the aTV works perfectly, but then I have bad sound, since I use the TV's internal speakers. What is reasons for it? Tips to fix it?

    Problem (full version)

Every time when I stream video and audio from large multimedia files (about 3-4 GB .mkv) of the iMac (Beamer) on the ATV to the room, I didn't encounter any problem. Buffering is fast (2-4) and there is no delay or other negative experience. Unfortunately, as with all flat TVs, the sound of the TV is poor. Since I have a BOSE sound system, placed around this TV, I like to use it for audio. As I do this is - after the streaming media file (Beamer) iMac to the bedroom aTV - pressing the Center "Select" button during 1 sec on the remote to display the "audio" preferences and select money "Chamber" (AExpress related to the BOSE sound system). In this way, I think that audio + video is streamed to the iMac on the ATV in the bedroom, and the sound is then broadcast the ATV to the AExpress. This is where the problem occurs. Sometimes it works very well, as today in the morning. No lag and everything works fine. But most of the time, after changing the preference "audio" in the sound stream for the BOSE, the beginning of the play symbol buffering becomes the symbol of the break and nothing happens. I hit play again and the symbol of the game / buffering symbol lights up for a few seconds, and then again to pause. She never starts.

The problem usually occurs with heavy multimedia files / large size 1080 p and 3-4 GB, not with the simplest 720 p files weighing about 1 to 2 GB. This makes me think it's a matter of WiFi capability. But if my WiFi network should not be able to manage that? I think that the apple TV in the bedroom and the AExpress uses the N standard, so it is the limiting factor. But if this interface should not be able to handle the traffic? Is it true that do what I do - separate the video and audio - use twice the network traffic?

I also want to mention that everything works perfectly at certain times, like this morning. Last night (12 h) it wouldn't work at all... Perhaps there are more traffic yesterday (Saturday) evening.

Questions (summarizes all Qs in text and some new)

    1. My network be able to handle the traffic encountered at the stream video + audio iMac to mountain BIKING in the room and streaming audio of ATV to AExpress at the same time?
    2. It is true that this configuration requires / use twice the network resources?
    3. Do you also think that my problem is caused by a network limited issue / the amount of data PR. second?
    4. I have a new (flat unit with power cord separate) Airport Express. This device manage more traffic and thus possibly resolve my problem?
    5. Other suggestions to solve my problem?

Sorry for long post, but I think that its better with much info little. Have a great Sunday =)

I think I can explain the reason for the problem... but I have little experience with sound problems... so you will need to figure out a work around.

The nature of wireless networks, it's to manage the stream very well... but they are much less good at the sensitive time of things like multimedia transmission continuously. In fact, if you want to stream multimedia content over wireless, it is preferable to use specialized units... no wifi. I have a 3D projector and home theater system that uses a special wireless link from Epson to the projector... It is amazing that it can handle the required data of 3D projection. It does so by using 60GHz or some these extremely high FREQ... and totally dedicated units... no wifi. In the end, we ran an HDMI cable in the wall... it was largest wireless but not could be started reliably. Wireless is simply not ready for the big time of streaming video high definition even when dedicated.

Wireless network adapter... It is wifi, can handle only one connection at a time and it time slices between clients. It's also half-duplex, so it can only send or receive... it can't do both at the same time.

On the other hand, modern interrrupteurs ethernet can stream to multiple devices at the same time. It can also handle send them and receive at the same time... That is to say in full duplex. This is why the networks ethernet much more suitable for media streaming wireless never can be.

As soon as you try to use double flow... even if it is audio (low bandwidth) and a video (broadband), you will cause huge delays to the video component. The video stream has literally if stop to give the time to the audio to catch up... you can immediately see where this will lead. Low resolution, it might work... but at high resolution, there is bandwidth inadequate considering the Division of time.

It would be much better to use the audio on the TV. Or check if the TV itself has audio output... that plug into the standard analog audio system RCA or it could even have out optical. Who will then provide a means by which the flow must not be split. My samsung smart TV offers you both.

The other solution probably won't be viable... execution of ethernet.
