    Hello world

I currently own a Blackberyy Bold 9000. I have a problem, upgrade my blackberry version 4.6 to 5.0 software. When I try to upgrade, it tells me that I have enough space (missing 21Mo), as shown on this picture http://img42.imageshack.us/i/26864228.png/ . This is not normal, because I have bearly applications (Blackberry Messenger, MSN Messenger, Twitter and Facebook and that's all). In addition to this, I have a 16 GB memory card. Can someone help me please?

Unfortunately, it really does not offer much help (btw... your SD card is not relevant... only the Application memory is relevant). You might do better with this process:

From a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    Hello rhythm_mittal

Before running the desktop software make sure that your PC is connected to an active Internet, besides availability of languages depends on carrier and the OS pack you have installed on your device, what language you are looking for on your 9810?

How will I know when the battery is fully charged?  All I see on the screen is the clock!

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Turn off the clock during charging mode.

Open the clock > options > select option when charging > set to do nothing.

This will allow you to see the usual battery indicator.

  • The blackBerry Smartphone Reload software: 552 (no answer, bb not detected when connected to pc)

Nickolai, Hello and welcome to the Support Forums of community BlackBerry.com.

1 have you done a recent backup of your Blackberry using the BlackBerry Desktop Software?

    2. If you pictures are stored on the card, you will be not should not lose them. Do you know?

    3. you don't say if you have, but that it has first: perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for about five minutes and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

    4. If after the reboot, you still have the 552 error, you must make the device on the wiping and reloading. I posted the instructions below on how to fix this error and may or may not remove and delete your contacts.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

    Hello

I had my Blackberry 2 days and today I uninstall an application (SCHOOL) and after the reboot, I got this error message. I can't turn off etc so I looked on the problem. I downloaded the latest Blackberry Desktop Manager and can't seem to connect to my Blackberry (it asks for the password and it does not accept it, I tried 3 times andI defenitely correctly typed my password in). How can I fix it?

The blackberry seems to jump a red light (directed message alert), no light (Nothing) to a white screen with a battery with a red line through it.

Ah... no battery? The battery is now inserted?

If the battery is inserted, leave the appliance to charge 2-3 hours and then, always toujours relie connected to the USB cable, remove the battery from the camera a few seconds and plug it back. If it starts - let - the charges to 100% (check the Options > status for the percentage).

If it does not start - try using a wall charger if you're not. If you are connected via USB to the computer, make sure that you have Desktop Manager (or USB device drivers), you can download it below.

Make sure that your USB cable is connected to one of the main rear USB ports of the PC. A USB hub, or USB Monitor port not a USB port on the front of the PC.

  • Error message from blackBerry Smartphones: Reload Software 513

I know that many people will direct me to previous discussions topics on this subject, but I can assure you that ive checked and scoured internet nothing works.

To cut a long story short, I plugged my curve in the computer, he asked me a device password, I didn't know what it was, I tried various things, and because of my stupidty, I entered the wrong password 10 times and didn't take any of the warnings seriously. My phone then himself wiped and left me the message Reload Software 513 wit

After searching a solution for this, didn't really have much chance. Mainly because the Office Manager I was using (version 4.7) was different from the other people had used and even different than a KPB was showing me the ILO solution Center.

I went down to the phone at a telephone helpline 02 who then tried to charge me the same way, this site was also tried. They think that the problem is because I don't have the latest Desktop Manager V5 or something.

If someone can talk to me through what to do, or no matter what help, it would be greatly appreciated

No, sorry, I don't know why, I just assumed you had a Curve 8320.

I edited my post above for the 8900 link and the software.

Forget the 8320... my mistake (even if he would not have removed from your 8900, so no worries there).

Download the operating system. Locate the downloaded *.exe file and double-click it to install it on your PC.

Follow the directions in the link... step by step.

  • Software of blackBerry Smartphones reloading the BB to another provider

Hi, I bought my BB to orange.

I bought my "BOLD" off-Orange, U.k, but paid offand unlocked it. I am now in Nigeria and want to use it for my account of Zain.

1: How can I get the software of Zain

2: hope it didn't close my handset for zain because I mayrelocate again

    BR

3: if I had to recharge it my BB using Orangesoftware, would be my phone locked return?

    Hello!

Once unlocked by the carrier, always unlocked... so do not be concerned by relockign to another carrier.

Find you carriers download page here:

If they are not listed, then you will need to contact for assistance.

Good luck and let us know how it goes!

  • Menu Application in BB Desktop Software blackBerry Smartphones shows no components of system 7 OS and programs, only manually installed applications

9360 to 9720 switching has been a problem as my favorite BB apps that are part of the 7 OS like password keeper are completely absent on BB9720 after migration.

Some forums are suggesting to use the menu of the Application of BB Desktop Software to install/uninstall applications and components of the system. This does not solve my problem, only applications installed manually, are indicated in the Application menu.

Therefore cannot install or remove components of the system or programs like password keeper.

Old and new BBs were running latest OS.

Appreciate any suggestions that would help me with my mysery.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Sometimes the Desktop software cannot automatically find the necessary operating system... software and need 'help' along. The sub process should allow you to do.

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

Now, if you have installed on your PC the exact same OS version you are running on your device, you should have all the available elements is displayed in the desktop software. However, if you have installed a different version of the operating system that is running on your device on your computer, the result will be probably an offer to change your device installed OS that you have installed on your PC... If this is the case, proceed with caution and be sure to first have a backup complete.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones reloading of Spanish language

I just got a Curve 8330 and in the Setup process, remove all languages except English.   I immediately regretted that and would like to reinstall Spanish as an optional language on my Blackberry.   How do I do that?   (I have installed on my computer Desktop Manager)

    Thank you.

OK, you're a third of the way, since you have already installed the Desktop Manager.

Then download and install the software from here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp (look for a multilingual version because they contain most of the languages)

Then connect the device to your computer, open the Desktop Manager, then go to the Application Loader. This will open a wizard who travels to reload the operating system on your device. In one of the steps, you can place a control in the language that you want to install.

  • BlackBerry desktop software Blackberry Smartphones has encountered a problem and needs to close.

I get this message lately when I try to sync my Torch 9800.  It seems to be hung up when it gets to the synchronization of media, although I'm not certain of this.  In any case, some would help here.

Well ViciousFerret, I don't know yet, but the problem can be solved.  I disconnected the Blackberry and off of the card holder.  Once I did, I was able to connect without the usual crash.  Then, I changed the settings in the desktop software so that it wouldn't sync as soon as I plugged it.  Then I re-enabled the support card and tried.  When I clicked on the media, the information would not come - just an error message saying something about media services does not.  So I removed all media from sd card, then formatted the card and reconnected.  At the present time, it syncs and reloading my media files to Blackberry.  Will post again when the process is complete.  Thank you for answering and point me in the right direction!
