  Hello!!! In fact, I solved the problem on my own. I bought Mac OS x 10.6, installed, (the manual update option on my mac did not!)  then installed my HP printer software. Everything works fine! Thank you for your comments! It is greatly appreciated!

  I'm trying to restore (from scratch, no OS system) an A60-157 and find it goes hard, so I have some questions to ask.

  I loaded an XP Home edition with service pack 1 included, (still looking for a copy of the original release) as it was spitting feathers with my XP pro + SP3 copy and it is now in a "better mood", I am aware that some older systems has been working with the first version of XP Original, but if you tried to give them a newer version (beginning with a later XP copy) you encounter problems of pilot.

  So my first question is Toshiba used a "copy of XP converted" IE had added pieces found outside the walls of their factory?

  My second is the recovery disk he did or does it now have copies of the software added to this disk, (like adobe 6 and windvd v5 etc.) before buy you, because I downloaded all the drivers for my model and not mind to pay £30 for the same thing again, because I wonder if this software has a few key to all of this?

  Don t know what you mean by a copy converted to XP but the Toshiba notebook are / have been delivered with the recovery disc that contains an image. The image is a package that contains the Windows operating system, the Toshiba drivers, tools and additional programs like WinDVD, etc.

  All 3rd party software that was part of the recovery image Toshiba cannot be downloaded, because it s not Toshiba software you can download only tools of Toshiba and the Toshiba page drivers. It also means that you can use as part of recovery disk, you will get only the keys etc for this

  I decided to install a new OWN Windows 7 Ultimate.

  The drivers are a mess... some are undocumented, others do not work, others do nothing.

  In general I put t read long assignments, but the topic of this thread was interesting and I made the decision to read what you have to say about software pre-installed.

  In any case, I can understand you if you think that there are a bunch of useless stuff but as experienced system engineer, you know very well how this works and what the laptop manufacturers are offering. We are here on the Toshiba forum and write about Toshiba, but there is not much difference if you check the other laptop manufacturers.

  Optimization of the operating system is not so complicated and in 30 minutes, you can have perfect OS pre-installed (the recovery image optimization). Okay, your decision was clean installation of the OS. It's OK, but you know very well you have to install a lot of drivers and Toshiba specific stuff in addition one by one and this must be done in the proper installation order.

  In general I think you didn't raise enough information on your new machine. In s manuals you will find a description of each tool of Toshiba and utility with exact explanation that you can do with it.
  On the one hand you want to have only necessary things, but later complain of missing features. Problem is that buttons face, utility eco, remote control, webcam and all other hardware components are controlled with different Toshiba tools and utilities so they must be active in the background and it's certainly not useless.
  I put t know what else to say.
  I just hope that you created the recovery DVDs until you started the clean install of the OS.

  If you have made the decision to return to your laptop back any further discussion will probably not help you much.

  The HP Officejet Pro 8620 e-all-in-one printer that you'll be buying and using a computer Mac OS X 10.10 is now completely cared for and functional operating system. There is absolutely no reason why you can't go ahead and preinstall the device Drivers and software for this printer on your Mac to get everything prepared and ready for when you actually get your printer.

  If you want to download your printer drivers, please click here and simply select the "download" button in the upper left corner of the page. You can complete the whole installation. However, at the end installation, you will be prompted to "Add" your printer to your folder of printing & scanning. Of course this is not possible until you actually have the printer, so just close that box. Once you get the printer and all up you can easily add in the Mac. If you have problems with who simply join the HP Support Forums of step by step quick assistance.

  With regard to your HP Photosmart Premium Fax e-all-in-one printer on your Mac OS X 10.10 HP C410a doesn't have a comprehensive set of features and software download. Therefore, you rely solely on Apple updates to load this basic generic in driver package. In no case this generic Apple package will interfere with your HP Officejet 8620.   Step 1: Uninstall the drivers and software:

  1. click on the menu Apple and then click on System Preferences.

  2. Select Print & Scan

  3. check if the name of your printer appears in the list of Printers .

  I have the opportunity to buy a very good second hand (model year - 2002) OKI C9300 printer. It comes with its original software.  However, it is not compatible with windows 7 (on my laptop) or windows 8 on my PC. I tried to download the updated software, but my computer skills are limited and have been unsuccessful in getting to save and install so that the printer can be upward and running. I called the OKI people in SA but at the point where they settled the problem/s, I'll be bankrupt. Can you help me please? the version of the software that came with the machine is V 1.0

  I have owned one of these great little cameras Sony miniDV since 2003 - in fact I love it so much, I bought a 'reserve' on ebay a few months ago.

  The problem is when my laptop crashed, I lost the initial load of the original factory driver for the camera software... and I can't find the original anywhere drive. None of my web searches have found links to reload the driver.

  Even more amazing, I started using Sony Vegas Movie Studio clean - but it plain refuses to import video from his OWN camera - saying that it does not recognize the device.

  What are my options and alternatives for this?

  Hello. For your computer to recognize the device, if it was recognized before, would mean that either your use of Windows XP or an older operating system. Unfortunately, USB streaming is not supported by Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Mac. But using a different connection: IEEE1394 (i.link or firewire) connection it should work with these operating systems. Going up that probably you just need to install the driver for the camera, you should be able to get it here:

  Select your operating system from the menu drop down and download and install the device driver (Driver USB for Connection). Make sure that the camcorder is not connected to your computer while installing the driver. Follow the instructions below the USB driver for the login page properly install the driver. Restart the computer and connect the camcorder. Complete the installation of new hardware found. Also make sure that your camcorder USB Stream function is set on IT. Use the application pre-installed Windows Movie Maker or compatible video capture software to capture video to off the Strip. I hope this helps.

• OfficeJet Pro 8610: Officejet Pro 8610 wireless printer is constantly busy and does not update the software drivers.

  I'm trying to update my printer via the steps outlined on the HP website. However, when identify my printer and try to install the revised version of the software of my printer continually says its busy. This means that the printer will not update.

  When I first tried this software update the status of the printer was ready however after failing at the start of this first attempt each following update failed because the printer is busy. I turned he walks several times and even turned off then the option automatic updates with no luck.

  From your description, I understand that you cannot refresh the printer as it is stuck in the free/busy information.

  We will perform a hard reset. To do this, leave the printer and unplug the power cable for 1 minute.
