From the looks of #1, it was created in late March 2016 and pushed early April by Apple. 2nd one, judging by the. RAR-like icon (stack of books) and digital signature, it seems to be older (~ November 2015).

So I installed #1 and it updated my drivers 15.201 to 15.301 AMD. Yay. But then the next day that it prompted me to #2, so I installed it too much thinking he was not associated with graphics. For now, I've disabled #2 in Apple Software Update, so at least ASU is no longer * to me every day. Thinking that perhaps it would be Windows, crushing the Apple drivers, I did the part under Block Driver Update and there is only the Intel CPU components and bridges etc it. • Satellite C50T-A382 - updated to Win 8.1 Pro & touchscreen support

    Dear all

I am currently the owner of Toshiba Satellite C50T-A382 machine which has preinstalled Windows 8.1 edition in plain language.

I now want to upgrade to Windows 8.1 Pro Edition, however I'm worried if updated to Win 8.1 Pro, it will support not my touch screen, because I read many comments on the Internet about other brands, like H.P., happens, etc. where users have upgraded to Windows Pro Win SL 8.1 8.1 and their support of the touchscreen is so more than work.

Very would be grateful if someone could inform if it would still technically support my support for touch screen or not?

    Thank you.

    Concerning
    Tan

I put t see serious reasons why the touch screen is not working after these updates.
The driver that controls the touchscreen part of Windows 8.1 System. It s not supplied by the factory for laptop (Toshiba, etc.), but it of a Microsoft driver.

However, in most laptop cases factory provides own systems preconfigured and tested, including all drivers and additional software. All other systems, own hand are not supported by device manufacturers.

    What does that mean?
This means that in the case of certain problems (after the installation of another system) you will be always asked to test the device original system preinstalled and preconfigured.

  • Software update does not see Bootcamp 6

I'm running OS X 10.11.3 (El Capitan) on an iMac of retina end of 2015. I migrated from an older iMac, including to move a partition, Bootcamp with Winclone. I was able to move from Win 7 to 10 to win on the old iMac and successfully get the partition installs and runs on the new iMac, but with intermittent problems.

Apple Software Update on 10 to win is a recent version, but he claims that all software up-to-date despite the fact that the Win partition is running Bootcamp 4! A downloaded installer 5 Bootcamp will let me install this version (not designed for this computer). However, every time I try to install Bootcamp and WindowsSupport to download drivers, the installation stops with an error in step "checking launch conditions.

I could enter and update the drivers, but I can no longer use the Bootcamp Control Panel - it claims that I don't have sufficient privileges to change the boot volume, even if I'm using an administrator account. I also get random and BSOD diversions, but not consistently.

How 6 Bootcamp to install? Other solutions I've seen about having Apple Software Update download it, but mine says I'm updating and then closes. I can't run the installer Bootcamp directly, because he says he needs privileges escalated the use of setup.exe. When I followed a suggestion elsewhere and used a tool called Orca to modify the .msi file to install Bootcamp, I could make a copy and remove both escalated privileges the conditions to launch "requires Windows 7", but it would still not work, saying that I had to be on Windows 7.

Long story, but what gives? For the moment, it may not be important that I am under Bootcamp 4, but I suspect that this situation won't last long. Mainly, I can't understand how to upgrade the Bootcamp software without backleveling in Windows 7 (which I can do yet, apparently, but not taken in charge on my new iMac) or wipe the partition and fresh install from an ISO and a new activation key (and to try to restore all my files and applications).

Thanks in advance for any help!

You should run Boot Camp 5 to proceed to 6. Regarding the latest software support, the options are:

You can create more free space in C in carrying one of the measures suggested below.

The default allocation for the restoration of the system is 12% on your C partition is more generous.

I have them would be reduced by 700 MB.

Make my computer right click on your icon, and select System Restore.

Place the cursor on your C drive select settings but this time find the slider and drag it to the left until it shows 700 MB and output.

When you get to the settings screen, click on apply and OK and leave.

A flaw that might be useless which is for temporary internet files, especially if you keep no copies on the disk offline.

Setting the default value is 3% of the walk.

Depending on your attitude to copies offline, you could bring it to 1% or 2%.

In Internet Explorer, select Tools, Internet Options, general, temporary Internet files, settings to make the change.

At the same time, look at the number of days, the story stands.

The default allocation for the basket is 10% of the disk.

Change to 5%, which should be enough.

In Windows Explorer hover over your Recycle Bin, right click and select Properties, Global and move the slider from 10% to 5%.

However, try to let you become so complete that if it is complete and you delete a file by mistake it will bypass the Recycle Bin and have gone forever.

If your drive is formatted as NTFS another potential gain arises with your operating system on your C drive.

In the Windows directory of your C partition you will some uninstall files in your Windows folder in general: $NtServicePackUninstall$ and $NtUninstallKB282010$ etc.

These files can be compressed or not compressed.

If compressed text the name of the folder appears in blue.

If not compressed you can compress.

Right-click on each folder and select Properties, general, advanced, and check the box before you compress contents to save disk space.

On the general tab, you can see the winning amount by deducting the size on disk size. File compression is only an option on an NTFS formatted disk partition / partition.

Select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, system information, Tools, Dr. Watson, and make sure the box in front of "Add to the existing rating" is NOT checked.

This means that the next time that the log is written it will crush rather than adding to the existing file.

The setting of maximum size by default for Event Viewer logs is too big.

Reset the maximum value for each log from 512 KB to 128 KB and set it to crush.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/308427/en-us>

Select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, disk cleanup to empty your trash and delete temporary Internet files.

Also select Start, all programs, accessories, System Tools, disk cleanup, more Options, System Restore and delete all but the last system restore point. Run Disk Defragmenter.

  • Windows 7 photo viewer broken by the software update of Intel Corporation display published February 2012

I tried the optional "Corporation - display - Intel (r) Intel's HD Graphics" offered by Windows Update.  The patch installed properly.  I also installed all the patches from Microsoft in the most recent update at the same time - my system is up to date with all patches from Microsoft for Windows 7.

The Intel driver is identified as "Display Intel Corporation software update released in February 2012" with driverid = 20470193 (but doesn't link to winqual included).

After I rebooted the system, I noticed that the Photo Viewer Windows 7 (Microsoft utility provided for the display of image files) was broken.  It would display usually several images, but after a few, trying to go to the next image would cause him to hang, with an error message and an error logged in the system log files.  The error logged has this information:

The failed igdumd64.dll DLL is part of the Intel driver patch.

I was able to revert to the version of the prior pilot with no problem using Device Manager (you cannot remove this hotfix with the usual methods to remove a patch provided by Windows Update, because it's a device driver).

Once I have returned to the older version of the driver (with the old DLL) flaws with Photo Viewer problems went away.

I don't use many intensive graphics applications, but I would not be surprised if this driver breaks things.

I can't find any documentation on what, if any, problem known this updated driver is supposed to fix.  But he clearly presents problems that did not exist with the driver components, it replaced.

I fully understand that driver development is a challenge, but this driver was clearly not enough tested if it succeeds in breaking simple things like photo viewer.

The driver in question is provided by Intel and the same update available on their web site.  I could certainly follow your collective advice and completely uninstall the graphics driver (which unfortunately would my system using generic VGA graphics, completely ruin my desktop display) and then download the driver from the Intel web site, but I sincerely doubt that the outcome would be different.  Returning to the already installed driver seems to have "fixed" the problem with the update.  And I scored the driver Intel "fix" hidden in Windows Update, so that I won't be tempted to install again, since it's apparently a bad solution to a problem not specified.

For what it's worth, the system in question is a HP Compaq 8200 "CMT", which has a motherboard Intel manufactured with integrated graphics Intel hi-def.  I don't have a graphics component snap.  Graphics drivers who settled on the system worked fine for my needs.

Intel has released an updated version of this driver in February 2011, which, at that time, caused a wave of reports (many of them in this forum) driver Internet Explorer 9, in break with defects occurring all the same Intel supplied DLL. The driver that came with my system seems to have had this problem.

If I was smart enough to understand how to report directly to the Intel they gave Microsoft a bad driver, I would, but as the component that is broken by the pilot part of a standard software for Windows 7 from Microsoft, I chose the problem here.  I'm sure that most of the Windows 7 users that could see a similar problem will seek a solution here, and for me, the solution was to return the driver (using the same procedures that were presented as the solution to the previous February 2011 broken Intel HD graphics driver "fix").

Oh it was Windows 20 Pro too. The problem was my Norton 360 product, making a network of lock down and prevent Firefox, Adobe Creative Cloud and a few other programs to run. Even the Norton Support had problems get my Norton 360 to connect to their server, so a patch win 10 could be executed. If you have questions related to Internet where only IE, edge can make some connections to the internet. You can contact your virus to help software company. I used the Norton chat on the computer damaged to make contact with support. The fix was remove all Norton 360, including registry entries, file temp folder Programdata Norton. It's better as Norton support delete files and folders for you. Once the removal of support can ensure correct installation is preformed and your worries will disappear.

Try to repair the Apple Software Update of programs & features Control Panel and then try to update iTunes again.

For general advice, see troubleshooting problems with iTunes for Windows updates.

The steps described in the second case are a guide to remove everything related to iTunes and then rebuild what is often a good starting point, unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach.

I downloaded and installed the software update 10.0.2 for my phone this morning and HE HATES! Why Apple does not provide a way to uninstall the update, as an option for pc Microsoft System Restore?  Either that, or allow users to get an overview of what changes are coming, so they decide if they want to install or not?

Sometimes incompatible software by an older system, slows down or

does not at all in a newer version. It's between the source of a

question as you describe in a general way.

And elements sometimes people mistakenly think will help their Mac

will do damage to the file system, break the macOS and ruin the apps.

A fairly general topic. You have specific instances or evidence of

concept, or examples of the question, that you can find a problem?

The details are important. However something as simple as a list of the

configuration and software/hardware of your Mac database specifications

can be useful. You could read http://etrecheck.com/#about and see

If the report, it can generate can be useful; If post you here, some

One can read through to see how that may contribute to your problem.

A new browser or upgrade update can sometimes a specific

problem; I have a few different Macs with different ages of macOS X.

So, I see a variety of issues; some of them have been resolved in more recent operating system.

But do not expect a problem to be solved through upgrade, usually

What is happening is a problem older or incompatible software

postponed to poison the poor macOS in a more recent interpretation.

This is because an upgrade to the existing system has your old

user account and everything you have installed may be in the Mac still.

I hope that you have a stern conversation with this Mini and say

him to straighten out and fly right. In the meantime, the system connects

I participated and enjoyed the public beta of macOS 10.12 Sierra program, but now that the commercial version became available I would go instead to the mainline.

This morning a public beta of 10.12.1 appeared in the software update.

Then I went into settings > App Store and disabled the software version beta well rested: the proposed update is still there.

I went into/private/var/folders/zzz and nuked the content, and updated: the proposed update is still there.

So I rebooted, and refreshed the App Store new update: and of course, the proposed update is still there.

How can I get rid of that but make sure I will be alerted when the final version of 10.12.1 is available?
