Some USB devices are more recognized when plugged after upgrading Fusion 7

After reclassification of the merger of 6 to 7, some USB devices, specifically webcams is faster to connect to Windows (guest) or Host (osx).

They also no longer appear in the USB & Bluetooth under the Virtual Machine settings.  Anyone else see this problem?  Try to understand this point, I completely uninstalled merger to try to solve this problem.  Webcams work fine under OSX itself and are usable.

7 merger supports a virtual USB camera, that can be added as a new device in the virtual machine settings. This allows the physical camera (USB or integrated PCIe FaceTime HD) to share between the host and the VM at the same time.

There is currently no option in the settings of the VM to UN-hide USB cameras for passthrough to the virtual machine, but it can be done with a preference.

Edit the ~/Library/Preferences/VMware\ Fusion/preferences file and add the following line:

vusbcamera. PassThrough = 'TRUE '.

  • But powered USB devices are not recognized

Randomly on my personal self built computer, readers usb ceased to recognize anything I put in them.  The strangest thing is that the devices kept under tension.  The mouse led would light up and charge the ipod.  I had to plug into an old school mouse and keyboard that do not use usb to use the machine.

    I tried:
    Unistalling/reinstalling usb drivers
    Update BIOS
Uninstalling drivers for devices (ipod, keyboard, mouse, external hard drive)
    Updated motherboard drivers
    Compensation to reinstall Vista

I'm really confused on what else to try.

  • ProBook 4740 s will not feed if USB devices are connected

G ' Day, I have a ProBook s 4740 and after taking the laptop to the site, when I'm home and plugged things back, by pressing the power button would see it for a few seconds and then od light out. The LED above the power would have flashes once and then turns off. Needless to say, it would not start up.

After a lot of frustration, I found that by unplugging all (wired Ethernet and USB devices) and by pressing the power button it would start up and even when starting I could plug the devices and everything is OK.

I had to return to the site today and when I came back again, it wouldn't power up until I unplugged the USB devices. USB devices are external hard drives only, all running through a powered USB hub.

This configuration has worked without any problems for wells in the year I've had the ProBook.

    This could be the cause?

    Thank you.

    The last update :-)

After downloading the BIOS update, I decided to wait until I had a break in things until I applied it. Then around one hour before, I saw the red exclamation mark on the HP Support Assistant in the taskbar. Open it, there was an update of the available BIOS, so I decided to let him do. At this point, no indication that it was the F.60 update.

I hate doing these updates that work at the machine code level where if things go wrong, they can go horribly wrong.

Well, everything went well. Updated the BIOS and restart the computer. I went back in to the support assistant and got the information on the computer, and he says that it is now the F.60 version. If she went from F.43 to F.60

I power it off, wait a minute, then restarted with everything plugged in and it worked correctly.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • Drive SD-R6112 are more recognized - 19 Code error in Device Manager

    Hello!

I have two lenses (one internal, one external) who suddenly are not recognized. Both are appearing in Device Manager with the same error as follows:
Windows cannot start this hardware device because its information of configuration (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)

After uninstalling and re - install them both several times, including resetting devices still not change state.

Currencies are: DVD-ROM TOSHIBA SD - R6112 (internal)

Both devices worked very well the last time I was on my laptop, 2 days ago.

To my knowledge a registry problem was detected. This can occur when more than one service is defined for a device, if there is a failure at the opening of the service registry entry, or if the driver name cannot be obtained from the service registry entry.

As far as I know Microsoft provides these options of solution:

Click on uninstall and click Scan for hardware changes to load a usable driver.
Restart the computer using safe mode, and then select last good known Configuration. This cancels the last successful configuration of the registry.

In addition, you can try to remove the Upperfilters and the LowersFilters of this registry entry:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4 D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

If it doesn't help then access Device Manager Reinstalls the channel primary and secondary section ATA/ATAPI IDE controller and reboot.

    Good luck and bye
