  The Sony A6000 has been initially supported by Lightroom 5.4 (and later versions).

  Lightroom 4 will never be able to open files Raw A6000.

  2. Download the free Adobe DNG converter, convert all A6000 Raw files to DNG, and then edit the DNG in Lightrorom 4

  The camera you have is compatible with the latest version of Lightroom, which is Lightroom 6/CC.

  Please see the list of the camera supported by Lightroom: supported by Adobe Camera Raw devices

  You can use the DNG Converter, converts images and then import them into DNG in Lightroom.

  Maybe this question came up to 100 times, but the only answers I can find are from a few months back so I would like to know if there is an update.

  The forums say (4/5 months back) that Lightroom was waiting for an update for Sony a6300 ARW (RAW) support files. I downloaded Lightroom today (trial version) with the hope of buying it but if I can't access my RAW files... There is no need at the moment.

  Is there an update? I have the latest Lightroom and CameraRaw installed.

  Does anyone know a way around this?

  This is not the latest version.

  You need to update your Lightroom for Lightroom CC 2015.7 to keep updated to Lightroom

  Support for this camera is added in Lightroom version 6/CC

  

  Your Options are either update of Lightroom CC/6 or Free DNG Converter allows to convert .raw .dng files.

  This way you can import into Lightroom and can work on it.

  Lightroom 4 does not support files A7rII of Sony, as the version of Camera Raw is not the most recent.

• I have the new Sony Alpha II 7R and it's raw Format is not yet supported by Adobe Photoshop CS6.

  Can you tell me the date of delivery of the mentioned raw format.

  It of hard and not comfortable having to first run a sony converter

  before that you can use a photo in Photoshop.

  You cannot import this file camera RAW directly. 5.x.x LR does not support this camera and never will be.

  You will need to use the latest version of the free Adobe DNG converter program to convert these ARW files into DNG files.

  Or upgrade to LR 6 or the CC version with a subscription to the plan of photographers.

  You must be at least 5.4 of Lightroom, which would require you to purchase the upgrade. You can also use the free DNG Converter (the latest version is 8.8) to create copies DNG that you can use with Lightroom 4.4.

  1. check which version of ACR is installed with your PSE

  Check follow this:

  Windows: Open the editor of the elements of the Welcome screen, then goto help > about Plugin > Camer gross

  Mac: Open the items, then menu editor Photoshop Elements goto > about plug-in > Camera raw and see the version

  Check the version, if its less than 6.5, then you need to update because the cameras you're usning, it requires 6.5 version to work with PES 10 ACR

  To update the items goto editor and and then goto help and update, this will be posted the updates available for you 10 PES which will include ACR as well, once the update is completed and installed, then restart the editor PES 10 and then check the version once more to be sure.

  If it has updated to version 6.5 or later day, then check your RAW files, they should work now...
