  I have computer laptop toshiba satellite A105, last weekend that I have reinstalled windows on my laptop using the recovery discs, and now I had two problems.

  Have you tried to update the drivers of USB port?

  You should try this;
  -Disconnect all USB devices the USB ports.
  -Go to the Device Manager and remove all the USB root hub and all USB host controllers.
  -Restart the laptop

  After this procedure, the Windows operating system should recognize and should install the USB ports again. After restarting again you must connect only USB devices and must verify if they will work properly!

• USB port (tried everything) problems

  I have a HP Pavilion dv5-2045dx laptop and about a month or 2 ago ports usb just stopped working. Do not forget that I have installed Windows 10 on this after the upgrade to Windows 7, but then returned to Windows 7 because I thought the upgrade, that's what broke the usb ports.   Disable and re-enable the USB controllers citing the steps mentioned below:
  1. press Windows key + R

  4. right click on the first USB controller under Bus USB controllers and then click on uninstall to remove it.

• Laptop HP Pavilion dv6 - 3016 s: USB (device not recognized) problems

  on my laptop (Pavilion dv6-3016sl, bought in 2010) for a few months the USB connections give many problems with different devices.

  The first issue with the key external communication 3G (ONDA TM201) Internet: the USB key (which has worked for many months) is not recognized. I tried to reinstall the software and drivers (get the latest version from the website of the producer), but it is always unclear correctly.

  I know this may seem a rather harsh to suggest method, but at this point, I suggest backup of important things on your laptop computer to online storage. This is because you can use the USB storage for the moment.

  Once you have done this, it's time to locate your drives support usb recovery and licenses of all other programs that you have installed or recovery.

  Start on the recovery media.

  Use the HP Recovery Manager to perform a factory image recovery which will reinstall the operating system.

  Since you say that the usb ports work under Linux, then reinstalling the operating system Windows needs to solve the problem of usb port that you are experiencing.

• USB mass storage device problems

  In recent weeks, I was unable to read the files on an SD card and a USB key.  For both the SD card and thumb drive, a pop-up message says the card is not formatted and asks me if I want to format it.  Both drives work fine in another computer Windows XP and a Vista computer, are formatted and data on them.

  Device Manager shows no conflicts.  I tried to uninstall everything under "In Bus USB controllers", but the problem persists.

• None of my USB connected devices appear in iTunes (12.4.0.119) on a MBP. Someone else?

  I just wanted to save both my iPhone and my iPod Touch to my Macbook Pro. When I plug them in do they not appear anywhere (but they charge through the USB cable). If I go into file > devices, all the options are greyed out. I experimented with different USB cables as well. It looks like all my devices are up-to-date. Any suggestions?   My 2009 Mac Mini started feeling the same exact behavior.

  I tried all the usual, including diagnostics

  -swap the USB / lightning cable

  -try the new cable into another USB port

  -J' tried 3 different - now 4 different iPad / iPhone devices, all currently running IOS 9.3.2 (iPhone 5, iPad Mini, iPhone 5 s), 7.1.2 IOS (iPhone 4), latest version as of today.

  -The Mac running OS x 10.11.5 - latest version as of today

  -J' deleted the contents of the/var/db/lockdown folder

  -J' I have reset the privacy settings and place on each device (settings-> general-> reset-> reset card and privacy)

  -J' rebooted IOS devices

  -J' killed all other processes running on the MAC including Chrome - about to restart

  -Applications Photos always starts and wants to synchronize new photos from any connected device

  -Whenever I connect a device iTunes recognizes the device and asks me to trust to the device and the device, I get a pop-up asking me to trust the computer, but I can't select the device in the iTunes window.  QED iTunes does not recognize any IOS device connected to the Mac.

  -My next plan of action is a reboot, then download a new copy of iTunes from apple.com/downloads, delete iTunes and re - install.

  As I'm typing this post, I've killed the iTunes process and reconnected my iPhone 5.  iTunes starts, I get messages of confidence which I accept, and lo & here's the iPhone 4 starts synchronization. I can see now each device connected to the Mac.

  So, in summary, the post is a list of my actions and all the tips that I cleaned of all about Internet forums when I google the topic.

  Hope you this help and anyone else who has a similar problem.

  You received an error code? If so, what is it? What version of NOR-DAQmx driver you have installed? It seems your driver potentially incorrectly installed, and you may need to reinstall the driver.

• Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex USB external hard drive problem

  I have a Seagate USB external hard drive. It is loaded with all my pictures and music. I can not open. I did in the past without problem.  It is a Seagate FreeAgent GoFlex. It says that I have the drivers updated. I've started and restarted. uninstalled and installed etc. It's also almost if there is nothing on the disc. When I plug it into the USB port it will not appear in the my computer tab, however, it shows in the toolbar at the bottom as installed but with nothing on it. When I run the troubleshooter, it says that the problem can not be detected, but it also says that the device is functioning properly. I do not know because I can not the specifics to fill. • Since USB to printer wireless problem. Help!

  My computer is a windows xp from 2002.  Recently, I spent a WiFi modem with connection wi - fi and got everything hooked up okay, except for the HP printer will not print from the computer now.  I can only use the printer manually now.  It shows that it is connected wireless now, but I get an error when I try to print anything the computer off "work has not print due to an error in the printery system".  I ran the wizard wireless to the printer, but still nothing.  I'm not very good at that kind of stuff.  I need someone who knows what to do, cause I sure can't seem to solve this problem.

  You need to "install" your printer as a wireless printer.  The icon is now displayed in the printers and faxes is connected by USB installation.  After the wireless installation is finished, you can either leave the premiera or delete it.

  I'm not sure from your description, but I think that you run the "Wireless Setup Wizard" using the controls on the front panel of the printer, as described on pages 62 and 63 of the printer User Guide.  Assuming that's what you were doing, you seem to have stopped before moving on to step 6... which is actually an entirely additional process which is described on page 66 of the use and copied below Guide.  When you perform this procedure, your computer must be connected to the cable modem, or with an Ethernet cable or its own wireless connection.

  To install the HP Photosmart of Windows software on a networked computer

  1. Quit all applications that are running on your computer.
  2. Insert the installation CD provided with the product in the CD-ROM drive on your
  computer and follow the instructions on the screen.

  (b) has detected before HARD drive in my computer screen? If so, did you do changes on the computer before this problem?

  Also, in devices and printers, the "Browse files" option is grayed out and I can not access network drives - I can't get C to G (E being my DVD player and G being my external hard drive). It only works if I type in the drive letter.

• Firefox Developer Edition 41.0a2 appearance problem (2015-07-26)

  This is not what causes problems of actual use, but it is visually distracting.

  After the last update 41.0a2 (2015-07-26), the 'Close' icon for the tab 'active' is buggy.

  I tried Safe Mode and perform a refresh without synchronizing my account and the problem persists.

  If I switch to the 'Default' aspect the issue goes away and returns to switch back to the "Developer Edition" appearance.

  I've included normal plug-ins that are active, but even once, this always occurs in safe mode and with an empty refreshment.
