Hello

In a first step, I would re - install the drivers for the chipset for your laptop.

After that uninstall the battery Bluetooth and re - install also.

There is also an information sheet available online to get information on the new drivers for Service Pack 2. Watch http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com

Free configuration (4.90.57) and PC (3.0.6) Diagnostic tool are available for users of Windows XP Service 2.

Take a look at http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com to get updates for download.

Keep me informed of your results

Good bye

    Hello

    Try the following.

Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

Locate the KB2962407 update, right click and choose uninstall.  Once completed, restart the computer, open windows control panel, open Windows Update and select "Check for updates".  You will see the update that you have uninstalled just offered once again - right click and select "Hide update".

After that, you may or may not need to remove and reload the Audio driver for your laptop.

((2) recently, keyboard became slow - Return key and SPACEBAR react unless you press several times and 'double letters' (repeat) will not work unless I stop everything first before typing the new letter--regardless of the letter). I tried to change the properties of keyboard long/short, delay/frequency, no difference. What should I try how can I set the properties of the keyboard, anyway?

I use a laptop A60-302 with Greek WinXP.
My problem is that after always and sometimes even sleep
After the start, the sound card is dead and I have to restart to hear something. The same thing happens with the Toshiba Modem.I did the last update for the sound card drivers, but it does not help! What can I do to alleviate this problem?

    Hello

You can try to update the Toshiba Power Saver or power management because they are responsible for the day before!

I got an A50 and use put to sleep / hibernation every time without problems!

When he runs in the past, you can also try to use the Windows XP system restore! It redefines the laptop to set restore points!

I just bought a Seagate external drive, but none of my usb ports work. I looked into it and followed what it says on the uninstall of my USB ports, bad move on my part. Now, after a reboot, no usb port works, I've tried all microsoft support said to do and nothing seems to work. I think I need to reinstall my usb root hub? Hello

Check the status of the device in Device Manager. Follow the steps for the same thing:

    a. click on start

    b. click Run, in the Run dialog box type devmgmt.msc

    c. in the Device Manager window, locate the USB key and expand the drive, double-click the sub element to check if an error message or error code is listed.

If there is no error message highlight Bus USB controllers and then click Action select check for material changes.

  • Satellite P10-221, keyboard Fn + F5 shortcut problem

On my Toshiba Satellite P10-221, running Windows XP, I used to be able to use the Fn + F5 to switch on my external screen. Recently, by pressing Fn + F5 the menu same as always, but the only option is the LCD. I used to have CRT and TV as an option. Is anyone familiar with this problem? I already tried to install the display driver (Nvidia), but this does not solve the problem.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello

The external screen is correctly connected? Display driver has nothing to do with the FN + F5 option. Utility designed Toshiba is responsible for this.

  • OEM usb mouse and usb keyboard Freeze, disconnect automatically w/eject Sound

I have a 2.5 year old Dell XPS 8300 Windows 7 PC. Mouse usb from the factory and start of keyboard to eject and re - insert (Windows systems "thumb-thump" sounds) and its own without any intervention on my part. Initially it just, just momentarily freezes for a second, but it could be anywhere from 20 minutes to several hours and the same thing happens to 3 or 4 times, and finally and at the same time, the mouse and keyboard freeze. The "cursor" or "pointer" on the screen is totally inadmissible, and seizure keyboard is inadmissible. CTRL + Alt + Delete does not work yet.

    A few points:

1 there is no drivers for the wired mouse usb and a keyboard wired usb on page download Dell and Driver for XPS 8700.

2 when I arrived to the Device Manager, it says device keyboard HID and HID - compatible mouse.

    3. There is no drivers to roll back to, and if I update driver for each device, windows tells me I use the latest version of the driver.

    4. I tried a clean install of Windows 7 and it does not solve the problem. (Exaggeration, I know. "I have a lot of time).

    5. I'm tired a clean install of Windows 8.1 and it does not solve the problem. (Again, I know, exaggerated, but I was curious).

    6. in other words, I have exactly the same problem on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1.

    7. I tried to use all the different USB ports on my PC and the same problem persists. I don't think that it's a problem of USB hardware in any case, given that the freezing of the mouse and the keyboard are occurring simultaneously, and each device has its on usb port.

    8. this problem is new in the last month. Never had anything like this in the last 2.5 years.

    Thanks for any help.

    Hi JJ,

Thank you for your update. Much appreciated!

Basically, for Windows 8.1, you will need to update the drivers more recent. So, you need to update the drivers for the chipset from the Dell Web site, and if it does not, you may need to contact the manufacturer for updated versions. Also. Please check in the Device Manager and uninstall the drivers of HID devices (under keyboard) and changes in the Update window to do not to install the updated driver. After uninstalling, restart the computer and then install the drivers for the devices and drivers chipset on the manufacturer's Web site. Check if the problem persists.

Please post back your results for assistance.

  • Problem in installing drivers Sound and Bluetooth in a Satellite A100-712

    Hello everyone

I have formatted the hard drive of my laptop Toshiba Satellite A100-712, downloaded the sound and drivers BT of this amazing site.

But there is still a problem.
In Device Manager, there are yellow signs with the realtek drivers and bt. I don't know what to do?

Please, you can list the steps for a correct installation for these drivers?
    BCZ I'm crazy... :(
    Thank you

    Hello

First question: why you n t use the Toshiba Recovery CD?
This CD contains all the drivers, tools and utilities, and you do not have to install any drivers separately

Secondly: The Toshiba driver page, you should find the installation instructions document
Just follow the order of installation mentioned in the txt file and everything should work!

PS: Don't forget to use the right drivers. I think that the A100-712 is outside the PSAA9E series

  • Satellite A500: problem with the driver of sound and display after update!

    A500 Windows 7-64 bit

I download the latest driver (6.0.1.6048) sound and display driver (8.16.11.8973) and I have a few problems.
The colors are too bright and the sound is too deep (as the middle are too low).

    Hello

Then why you n t go back to earlier versions of the driver?
In your case, I would recommend setting the operating system at the point of time at first, until you have updated the drivers.
Usually, this should help to recover the old drivers again.

    Welcome them

I've disabled all sounds and disabled my sound card. There is always a warning tone. Why?

    Hello

    When does this beep?

It probably comes from the speaker of your motherboard.

Listen to the PC (put close your ear) while producing the sound and then compare it with putting your ear near a speaker.

    • Are you referring to the resolution of the problems when you say, "error search skills?

    Answer is Yes

I think that your method 1 is the first step, I'd take, now when you have shown the way.

But before I got this solutio.n you, I tried to call the HP Support and got a person very helpsam, and together, we started a tour.

Whenever I tried to game the system a system - its, it was rejected, to do that the sound material was busy serving a different task.

Because I didn't have any other thing going, we went into the SYSTEM and looked at what was experiencing SOUND and found one entry, belonging to a program I installed years ago to convert videos.

So I uninstalled this driver - and bingo - I got my sound.

So this is the reason why I have not tried your solutions.

Thanks for the effort, I'll save it for next time.

  • Problem with the sounds and animations working together...

    Hi all

I learned how to use Adobe InDesign recently (as in...) Today).  I adapt well to the format after only a few hundred moments of pulling hair.  I create an interactive document and there is a place where I want an animation and sound to play at the same time when you hover over this task.  I figured out how to add a button to the region and I used that to the sound.  Then I discovered that I could add an animation to the button as well.  However, when the button is hovered over, the sound is played, and then, once it's done, the animation occurs.  I discovered that if I put first animation online, then the opposite is true.  I get the animation, then the sound.  I need them to play at the same time as the sound IS the sound effect for the animation.  SOOOO... I tried to put the two buttons, two of them wired to turn off when you move the cursor over them, but that didn't work.  All I get is any button is on top.  They are not both work with a hover.  Is there a way to make the sound and animation to play together, in the sink with the other?

You will see your animation and sound in the distribution panel. Shift-click to activate both and click play together on the bottom of the Panel.
