  Hey my laptop is Asus brand and I have windows 8. I have zoo tycoon-ultimate collection, and it worked fine on my last laptop.   1. Are able to install the game on another computer using the same disk?

  Try and copy the contents of the disc in your computer and then try to install it. If you are not able to copy the file, it could be a problem with the drive itself.

  Alternatively, you can try to install compatibility mode. After you copy the configuration from the disk file, try the following steps.

  a. right click on the driver file and select Properties

  b. Select the Compatibility tab

  c. place a check next to run this program in compatibility mode and select the operating system in the drop-down list.

  d. let the driver to install, and then check the functionality.

  I'm quite confused on the garbage of the DataGrid. I did a simple test code which adds a datagrid control to the display list. If I delete the component from its parent without clicking on any element, the element is collected correctly. However, if I click on an element, the datagrid control is removed is no longer. Otherwise, if I use the keyboard to navigate through the items, the component is removed.
  The Profiler does not any reference to the data grid. So, what's the problem? Flex keeps all reference when I use the mouse?

• Interpolation and Garbage Collection problem

  No matter what I I can not solve a problem with AS3 Garbage Collection of tween I'll have it is havoc on my tween instances works correctly/consistently. Some Sprites never tween at all, some do it but only part way. And it different effects almost every time.
  
  I recently read about AS3 Garbage Collection and badly referenced interpolations and other asynchronous forums is picked up in the Middle process fairly. I feel the inconsistent behavior of signature that the I have read.
  
  I tried to use the static properties level and not static class to store the references to my Tween instances so that they will not be shown for the GC. No luck. I placed references to these in the class-level tables, I also used static to() TweenMax method, which ensures that there will be the shield of GC and its static constructor instantiation not alt., with persistence: true. I have also set up another package custom; GCSafeTween(), others says it's as it should be, but it does not work in my case.
  
  To test the GC problem, I edited the two eventListerners() in the Adobes fl.transitions.Tween so that their default weakReference property was false. This is properly the work of Tween. But this is a terrible solution.

  The problem is finally solved.
  I had another Alpha tween StackDisplay targeting a Sprite that is nested inside the main Sprites that I tried to tween Alpha. I noticed that if I planned other properties of the target Sprites they work always as interpolated. It was only the Alpha which would get stuck from time to time.

  JPSoul thanks for helping me to tackle the problem in a different way and get finally resolved.

  I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite C850-13F purchased as new and system recovery problems.

  It came pre-installed with Windows 7 - foolishly, I forgot my Windows password. Then someone I know think they would help me and installed Windows 8 (a trial version) on this laptop.

  I don't like any of Windows 8 and want to remove it. I'll reset everything to factory with Windows 7 settings, etc.

  Did you create the recovery disk / way in the past to make this recovery process?

• Collection problem

  Hi, I registered here on the HP Support forums seeking help with this...

  I have an old HP Pavilion a305w running Windows XP, and no matter what I do, I can't get a recovery process to start.

  Before going further, I would like to explain that I want to do a recovery because the computer has so unnecessary software on it barely works. Restore factory settings and the software will correct this.

  Anyway... I followed the instructions here on how to perform a restore on HP.com. It is said that I am supposed to click on start, all programs and find a HP Tools folder, or PC Help and care or something in that sense. The problem is, I don't have these files. I don't know if it's something my father got rid of (the computer was hers before he gave it to me), or if it's something the installed antivirus currently has (Kaspersky Anti-virus). All I know is that I can't find anywhere HP tools. But, I still have a disc d (HP_RECOVERY), so I know it must be here somewhere.

  The way, I then tried to do a system restore at startup by pressing F10 on the keyboard (Yes, the keyboard is plugged in and working, the evidence is that I can enter the BIOS), but no matter how many times I press F10 during the HP screen, he's not going into recovery mode. I don't really know what else to say.

  If anyone has an idea on how I can start a recovery process, please let me know. I would like a "destructive" recovery, one that restores absolutely everything, so I can start on this computer.

  There are a few options that are attempting to reinstall Windows - make sure to save any important files first.

  1. If you can still boot into Windows, hold down the Windows key and press R.  In the run box, type compmgmt.msc , and then press ENTER.  Click on management of the disks in the left pane and when loaded partitions, make a right click of the recovery Partition and mark it as 'active '.  Close all open windows and then restart - if it worked, the laptop boot from the recovery Partition during the restart.

  2. If the first method fails, the most likely cause is that the recovery Partition was corrupted.  The best option may be to use recovery disks to reinstall the OS, as it will also recreate the recovery Partition.  HP does not stock recovery disc for machines built before 2006, but they are available from a reliable source here.

• Smart collection problem - LR 5.6

  I have a smart collection of files where the metadata has changed. It helps me to ensure that the changes can be saved in files on the disc.

  Recently, I noticed that this collection has begun to show a large number of files (800 +), where the data should be stored on the disk. If I select all of these files and then save to the disk, they all disappear one by one, and then when the collection is empty they all start reappear again, until they are all back again.

  Lightroom can automatically write metadata in XMP. For RAW photos, these are the sidecar files. For DNG, metadata are embedded in the DNG file.

• Form submission (or response collection) problems abroad

  I developed a form of fill-able (imported, massaged in LiveCycle Designer Word document) and then opened in Acrobat X Pro, tools-> split-> via Acrobat.com.  It was working fine until I went overseas.  I was able to submit forms using the xxx_distributed.pdf and see the results submitted by using xxx_responses.pdf.

  Now, however, while sending seems to work properly, IE. It is said the form was sent successfully and I see the file of the form on my Acrobat.com account, xxx_responses.pdf file never shows that there is no responses submitted. by pressing "Update" no results.

  Anyone have any ideas?  I guess it is not necessarily bound by being abroad, but it was the time of the problem.

  (1) is in any way other than via the file xxx_responses.pdf (or Tracker) to see if my comments are actually in the database of Acrobat.com?   [c. to verify that submit it actually worked.

  (2) I guess it's possible that my ISP overseas blocking some necessary ports by a Tracker, etc. to interrogate the Acrobat.com database - someone ' one knows what are ports?

  (3) all other things that I can check?

  OK, I solved my problem.  The problem was caused by the blocking of incoming traffic in a router upstream from the mine.  My home setup consists of an ADSL modem/router which I use the modem part; the Ethernet cable goes into the WAN port of the router wireless one another (a better router wireless modem/router provided by your ISP).  But it turns out that provided by the ISP router was blocking traffic all entering (the standard, of course), but he had no knowledge of the outgoing traffic (why, I don't know) to allow incoming traffic.  Change the firewall rules to allow him to pass all traffic incoming to my router solved the problem.  My router has its own firewall, but he seems to know what inbound traffic to allow properly.

  It has 5 lanes to the GC root:

  The ProgrammaticToggleButton is extremely simple, so I don't think that this is the origin of the problem:

• The target Collection problem... Help

  Last night, I put one of my collections as a "Collection of target.  I clicked on the target folder and choose "Set as target Collection."  When I sent a group of images to the Collection target, however, they finished in a quick Collection folder is the heading catalogs.  Not sure how this folder to the quick Collection got there.  I then re-highlighted the collection I wanted to give in as the target Collection.  The "set as target Collection" invited did not appear in the dialog box when I right click on it.  I went up to the file tab and went down to "Set as target Collection."  It is grey and not worked.  Quick Collection under catalog has the sign (+) next to indicate that it is the current target Collection.  I can't delete this quick Collection or change the target Collection.  It is gray on the file tab and does not appear in a folder.

  I rebooted the computer several times and I have "revived and optimized."  Nothing has changed.  When I right click on the mysterious quick Collection, my only choice is to delete or save quick Collection.  All ideas are welcome.  Thanks in advance.
