Stack different PowerConnect models?

Hello! everyone,

I would be very grateful if someone can let me know if it is possible to stack a PowerConnect 5524 with a 3548, (the 3548 did not have a HDMI port, only for stacking gigabit ports) If Yes please how I do, I already tried to use a converter RJ45 HDMI to connect two switches, but every time I turn on the 5524 , others (g4) on the 3548 breaks down and there is no link between the two switches.

Thanking you in advance.

No, the PowerConnect 35xx/35xxP switch stack only with another PowerConnect 35xx/35xxP switch.  According to me, that is the same for the 55xx.

  • Port Mirroring a LAG on stacked Dell PowerConnect 6248 s

    Hello

It is possible to port mirror use as a source, a SHIFT, consisting of 4 ports (2 in each Member of a set of 6248 s PowerConnect stacked). Whenever I'm trying to add the source, using GUI, I get an error:

Error! There not together "Type" with "Tx and Rx" error occurred in FILTER_MISSING

    This allusion is what filter?

I can't select a spring, unit 1 or unit 2, members of the LAG, like the gui only shows them not from the ports drop.

Unfortunately, the switch is able to mirror individual ports as source ports. You can check this by trials of establishing a mirror session where the source port is not part of a LAG.

  • Screenshots for different Blackberry models of application

I know that AppWorld Portal is still in development but is there any examination which allows us to download separate screen shots separate packages (packages into files of different cod for different versions of blackberry)?

For example, one of my games is now supported on all the BlackBerry AppWorld supporting and normally uses real keys to control the main character on the screen.  For the STORM, since there is no real key, I created a virtual joystick comprised of up/down/left/right controls the player needs support to move the character.

I want to use this form for the Blackberry Storm package, but at the same time, I don't want to confuse customers who are downloading to the "BOLD", PEARL, CURVE, etc. because they will not have this virtual joystick.

  • Stacking question: can I combine a stack of 5548 with a stack of 5524?

Can I combine a set of four switches PowerConnect 5548 with a stack of two switches PowerConnect 5524? I don't know to ensure they are running the same firmware, but I didn't not see the documentation on the size of maximum stack or between models stacking limits.

    Thank you.

Yes, you can stack 6 switches together, any 5500 stack with any other, to a maximum of 8

  • HDMI piling on PowerConnect 5548

We have 8 switches PowerConnect 5548 and are interested in using the stacking of HDMI for 10GbE.

We currently have all 8 switches under tension and production running on them traffic.  Each switch is currently either back 'a home run' to a Cisco switch, or connected to another switch PowerConnect 5548.

    • Is mature enough stacking HDMI technology for a production environment?
    • It would be important if each switch have been 'home run'd ' to the Cisco switch and each 5548 PowerConnect was connected in a loop HDMI?
    • Stacking HDMI technology would require restart us our switches to implement?  A failure would be necessary?

    Jon,

Technology HDMI wroks ideal for stacking the PowerConnect 55xx series. You can use the HDMI ports on the 55xx for stacking well and not for uplink to a Cisco or other device.  Also, you can stack only as 55xx switches with other 55xx and running the same version of the firmware.

On the 55xx, you don't need to reboot the switches, but just plug the cables to create the stack.  An algorithm is used to determine which members becomes master and members who become slaves.  In my view, that the master is determined by which switch has been powered as long.  Don't forget that if you have the switches on different subnets or VLANs, they are configurations will be now changed all switches will become like a big switch.

The type of HDMI cable is important, you will need to consult the documentation that came with the switch, or you can download the Guide of the user to http://support.dell.com.  You need cables that provide a flow rate of 10.2 Gbps (maximum allowed by the HDMI specification).  Usually the cheapest cables don't provide this.

  • Grouping of different MCU series

I have a client with and old and a new microcontroller, he would like to cluster two of them to have ports up.

    MCU OLD: 4510 Version: s4.1 (1.51)

    New MCU: 5320 Version 4.4

Under the new version 4.5, its supports two MCU.

    My questions:

1.) if I spend two MCUS at the same version, I can their cluster.

2.) if I don't pass the OLD MCU, is there anyway I can their cluster.

Also don't I have to have a key cluster support to make it work.

    Thank you.

It is not possible to combine different MCU models, all microcontrollers must be the same model to be clustered, the only exception to this is, this is the where you can group different of the MCU 5000 series models. Everything simply because the software MCU supports clusters, means that the material is, check out the specific model of MCU to see if it supports clusters. Grouping microcontrollers require a key option, however with the MCU 5000 series it requires a stacking cable, if media MCU clustering refers to its deployment guides on how to create a cluster.

  • Need a specification complete for laptop model Satellite

Hello to one and all. I am experienced with the use of the forums, but this is the first time the Forum of Toshiba. So apologies if I write in the wrong section.

In fact, my daughter who has autism, got a DSA grant to help him to go to University. They say she may have a laptop computer and the provider gave me the following details of what they provide, which is...

WKH15 PC Toshiba laptop with Core i3 (3217U) 4GB 320 GB DVDRW WIFI Webcam Windows Bridge Ivy 8 (integrated Intel HD Graphics 4000)

I want to see the complete specification and any review of the toshiba laptop above, before I accept it. I can pay extra to have a better, if I think it is necessary.

The problem is, I can't find anything on this model and am wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, or maybe even have one and can give me relevant information.

    Thanks much for any help.

To be honest I don't understand your provider. Each manufacturer offers different portable model with different model name or model number so that customers can find presentation on the manufacturers web page.

Different models have same hardware platform, so I don't know how to help you with your question. Ask her to model exact name or model number, so we can find the exact specification for laptop on the toshiba support page.

  • Why the AHCI mode is disabled in some models of Satellite P200/205?

    Hello.

My laptop model is Toshiba Satellite P205-S6277 (PSPBGU-00W016B). Chipset Intel 945 PM Express, Intel 82801 GBM (ICH7-M).

According to the information of the intel.com my laptop processor / chipset are fully compatible with the AHCI mode. But my SATA controller works in IDE compatibility mode and there is no way to enable AHCI SATA mode in the BIOS.

So I have two questions correlated.

    1. why this AHCI mode is completely disabled by the BIOS? Is it possible to activate this mode in future versions of BIOS?

2 If this mode is completely disabled by the BIOS in the models of laptop of all PSPBG and PSPB0 then why Intel Matrix Storage Manager (driver that improves the functionality of the AHCI mode) is available at downloads driver recommended for these series of laptop on sites European Canadians, Toshiba and even specially for my Toshiba laptop model on the site?

I already posted the same question to the site we Toshiba but unanswered for a month.
Maybe there is someone who is able to answer this question?

    >.. There is no way to enable AHCI SATA mode in the BIOS.
How you tried to activate it exactly?
I have Satellite P200 and the two modes are available. I have model laptop but can not imagine that the AMERICAN models, or models even Canadian work on a different path and BIOS must be the same.

Toshiba service best place where you should ask for help. Call them and ask for explanations. If you are right and the AHCI mode is unavailable, they know why.
Over the past 3 years I have worked with 4 different laptop models and all have absolutely identical SATA settings.

  • Import the SPICE model for transistor BJT BFP720F in Multisim

    Hello

I'm trying to get the SPICE model for the BFP720F transistor provided by Infineon to work in Multisim.

I have attached the template as provided by the manufacturer.

If I import it as-is, I get error messages "invalid node identifier '<4>'" (I have translated that German, it might not be exactly this message in the English version).

So I tried to replace all the "<4>" with "4", which seems to help, but now the error is "adjusted temperature setting"VJC (PC)"negative" and "incorrect use of the parameters of the model. Now I don't really know what to do with it.

Is the template provided in the wrong format? I somehow can it in the right so I am able to use it?

Because I need for my project semester in College, any help would be much appreciated.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi NikoNR,

When writing a detailed description of what I did exactly with the Wizard component, the component again to create in Multisim from scratch, I found that there are different SPICE models provided in the package for use with AWR MWO. They have a different file extension, but are normal text SPICE inside files.

It turns out that they actually work with Multisim. The difference is small, there is only one temperature (TNOM) setting that is absent in these models, distinct from the "general" I first tried to use. It seems that Multisim had a problem with this setting, leading to the error I encountered.

Anyway, the problem is solved now. Thanks for your help

    Good day

    (The now much happier) EE-student

    ----

Edit: I have attached the SPICE model, that I ended up using, in case someone at - he never met a similar problem. The only change I did this, is to replace '<4>' with '4' in the part of the diode (single occurrence here). I had to zip to download with his original extention (.mdl).

  • Process vs asynchronous sequence in parallel model

I've been studying the TestStand features and learn how to use it for about a month, so still very new for the environment (although I have been using Labview and Veristand quite strongly for about a year).  I wanted to get some clarification on the use of different process models, because I think I can be lack of understanding of certain terms.

Here's a little history of my project:

I have a Labview VI that I created to interface with a remote target (emulator).  Previously, I used the VI to run the tests manually, and I would like to use it as a code module in TestStand so that I can run automated tests.  I intend to use the same VI several times throughout the test sequence.  The functionality of the system is dependent on maintaining constant communication with the emulator, so I can't be opening and closure of the code module several times.  Once opened, it should stay open and communicate continuously (I hope I won't have to create modules of code to be through with my current VI 'wrapper').  Break the communication would result in most of the results of the tests to become invalid.  For these reasons, I chose to call the VI as a module of code into a sequence of void so that it can be run asynchronously, outside the main sequence.

Now, as I learn more about the details of TestStand, I introduced the notion of "process models.  I was initially using the default sequential process template, but I would like to know if I should come parallel process model.  From what I can tell, the parallel process model is used when multiple Test DUT tests or running in parallel.  Is this correct?  To clarify my situation, I'll test only 1 USE, I use only 1 code module and I run several test with this module of 1 code steps.  I continually have to pass data back and forth with the code module as it runs parallel to the main sequence and there are probably several sequences of void called during the process, so that I can maintain the modularity with my tests.

So the question is, can I take the parallel process model, or should I continue with the sequential process model and asynchronous sequence for my code module run in parallel?  Thank you very much.

    GSinMN

I would definitely recommend using the sequential model with a sequence of asynchronous way running for the special code module, in this case. Let us know if you have any other questions on how to architect the system! It is certainly a good idea to plan these kinds of things before we get too deep in development.

  • Model - T r5 - 471

I have owned my laptop Aspire R5 - 471T for about 4 days.   It seems to work just great except for 1 oddity.  It disconnects intermittently on my home network (other devices of computer in the House do not).  It takes an adapter reset (by selecting troubleshooting) to reconnect.   any ideas?

    If you still have problems...

Make sure you have the latest firmware for the ASUS router.  Go to the ASUS website and search for the firmware for your model of router.  After you Flash the latest firmware... reset default ASUS by pressing for more than 5 seconds reset button.  And then manually reconfigure from scratch.  Do not try to restore the previous settings.  It is best to use as many as possible default router configuration, unless you really know what you're doing.

Delete (forget) the old wireless profiles on your computers.  And then restart your computer.  And then reconnect it.

And if you still have problems after this...

    1. disable IPv6 on the ASUS router

2 disconnect the ASUS, your modem and the electrical outlet access points.

    3. put all of your computers.

    4. connect the ASUS. modem and access points.

    5. turn on computers.

    6. once everything works ok for 48 hours, activate IPv6 on the ASUS.

I had something similar happens on a different computer model, and it was because of me tinker with IPv6.
