When my computer starts and the window symbol came in the middle of the screen it usually make a sound now it stop doing the sound please help me solve this and it takes a long time to start too

Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

Restore point:

Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
And the 32-bit is what normally comes on a computer, unless 64-bit.
See you soon.
  • Windows Explorer does not and sound problems
    I'm running Vista (home edition) on a laptop and I'm having problems with my windows Explorer. The other day it was working fine and I have updated to service pack 2, after he installed my computer went crazy! My exporer windows keeps "not responding" and whenever he "closed the program" my office went nuts it shows not all of the icons (on my desktop) until I raised the Task Manager and the taskbar kept resetting itself to I don't know what. I would go in the taskbar properties and sometimes he let me check the power, network and sound icons and sometimes it would be grey so I could not. I uninstalled the update and it seems to work very well a bit, windows Explorer still fails sometimes well. What is really bugging me, is that a previous update messed with my sound, so sometimes I have to go into the Device Manager and disable then enable the sound to get it back (the driver is up-to-date). But sometimes the Explorer is not responding so I feel like I'm going in circles! The other problem is that after installing service pack 2 is my computer guard with "unexpected cases" and it still occurs even after uninstalling service pack 2. Does anyone have any ideas what the hell is happening? I ran all my software, adware, spyware viruses and everything else so I know that my computer is clean. It is service pack 2 or is it my computer? Also, I have an idea of what I'm doing, so I'm not a complete fool. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I don't have my 5 cups of coffee yet this morning.
  • AT300-100 - speakers and sound problem
    Hello.
    I bought a Tablet AT300-100 and have problems with the speakers and the sound. I noticed other people online with similar problems.
    Here are the problems:
    -The speakers stop working, and the Tablet needs to be restarted for that stakeholders to work again.
    -The noise increases abruptly volume for a few seconds, then returns to the normal volume.
    -It has no sound when I get a PIN on the lock screen, even if the is set to turn the sound on the lock screen.
    I wonder if this is a bug in the operating system rather than a problem with the hardware of the speaker.
    The operating system is up-to-date. Problems continue regardless of the sound settings.
    Any ideas?
    Thank you.
    > I wonder if this is a bug in the operating system rather than a speaker hardware problem
    By default, the system Android back and try it again
    Usually, if it would be a software related issue, the sound should work correctly after the reset to default settings.
    > If there is a bug in the operating system affecting the speakers, a reset may not work.
    Well, in this case, that you should get in touch with the service of Toshiba to get it checked
  • Aspire One D255E, Intel Atom, Windows 7 Starter: Slow and unresponsive
    All,
    I work on this Netbook for my parents.
    It has been used VERY little since.
    has all updates installed,
    There is NO program installed outside the factory except for MS Security Essentials and Maliwarebytes programs.
    That said, it is VERY SLOW and sometimes UNRESPONSIVE to keyboard shortcuts.  I know that this is not a high level of PC, but can I do to speed it up if we can search, eBay, Facebook and other sites.  No hard calculations are required, just basic of simple functions.  It's just to slow down now and basically no one will use them.
    Thank you.
    CCleaner fragmented records (very bad experience and the MVP is also recommended).
    Before you defragment the HARD disk and clean records, you can also delete temporary Internet files.
  • Satellite Pro - Slow start up and sound is messed up
    I had my * Toshiba Satellite Pro * with * Windows XP * for a good few years now. She has always worked like a gem and only gave me no problems until a few weeks ago.
    A few weeks ago I was downloading a program and with it the virus 'Antivir Solutions' very undesirable and unliked. I've done everything I can to get rid of this disaster (with the help of the support forums) and I think that I managed to get rid of it, but since my computer has not been the same.
    I had trouble downloading a PDF document, a few days ago and it froze so I tried to restart that caused the computer to have a hissing fit, remove my user account which meant I had to configure everything again from scratch. And, now, the computer takes a good 45 minutes from the moment you press the button "ON" when it is ready to start working. Not to mention, it takes a good 10 minutes every time you click on an icon for the program to start actually...
    I tried to defrag the system and you have tried to uninstall unused programs to speed up the computer, but it did not work.
    I also ran several anti-virus (e.g. Norton, AVG, Microsoft Security Essentials) to make sure that I don't have wicked not spoil me, but they come clean.
    May I also add the sound is messed up also. If I use the built-in speakers or external speakers, the sound is disjoint and broken. Like any video I have play.
    I don't know what to do.
    I can't really afford a new computer, but I need my computer to be reliable. I use my computer for 12 of the 24 hours a day...
    * What can I do? *
    Hi nicoletrist,
    I put t know what laptop you have exactly, but I think that the slow start Windows is caused due to viruses you have or had.
    A few years ago I also had a virus and it was causing a very slow start to the top, he did take up to 10 minutes until Windows has been loaded and the only solution to get rid of this used Toshiba recovery disc.
    I would like to recommend you. Use the Toshiba Recovery disk to restore to factory settings and save your data, because everything on the HARD drive will be erased.
    I'm sure after using the laptop recovery disk will work like a charm again! :)
    You can try to get it service provider authorized in your country.
    As far as I know it can be problematic to order the CD/DVD of recovery for older models of laptops but maybe ASP can help you about this.
    Alternatively, you can install the OS by using the facilities of Microsoft CD. All the necessary drivers, tools and utilities can be downloaded from the Toshiba support under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com page
  • Satellite U 300 - battery and sound problems
    Hi, I was wondering if anyone has had similar problems as me:
    My laptop is only two years, but last year his work only intermittently. I get messages saying that the driver is not installed, until one day he will decide that the driver is installed after all and works very well. Until the next time it stops working. There seems no rhyme or reason for it. I gave up trying to reinstall the driver, because I know that (possibly) the sound will come back without intervention from myself.
    My second problem may be connected - I have problems every now and then close the laptop. I try to put in mode 'sleep', but is not complete the process, and the blue light comes on. When I then open the cover, very often, the screen stays black and I have to turn off the machine and turn it on again the force again.
    Then recently, I noticed a sharp drop in the battery life (less than an hour). He also annoyingly started losing all power and cut until the indicator showed all the usual warnings of low power.
    Anyone know if these problems can be linked, and whether they can be fixed? A new battery will fix it? To be honest, he arrived at a point where I think to buy another laptop do since they are really starting to get frustrating!
    Thank you very much
    Gooday,
    I also own a U300 I bought about 2 years ago now, I had no problem with the sound but didn't have any other problems with my 1-2 months battery life after life - 20-30 min. I just baught a new battery and it is promising, I just did the first load and it lasted long, however the windows said it had 0% remaining, but I pulled out another 30-45 minutes the dough until it went flat. If you look in your event log do you get the message
  • Equium A60-692 - cannot open the start menu and keyboard problem
    I have a problem starting my laptop A60-692 and I'm not near the points of service.
    When I push the power button the screen goes through its startup routine gives her marching band welcome charge to the top of my desk.
    But when I click on the start only the start window flashes for a split sec and remains standing. If I press the windows key on the keyboard I can then click on the start and the start window appears on the screen.
    However if I open a program like note book or internet explorer, the keyboard will not and only gives a Bell sound when I use the keyboard. If I click Start, then shut down and click on restart the laptop turns off and then restart everything works fine!
    It's very boring and tedious. I'struggled with this for a long time, although it was not like that when new.
    Everyone had the same problem or have any advice to give?
    I would be very grateful!
    Concerning
    Andrew
    Hello
    Believe me it is not easy to say what the problem is here.
    I would like to know where the mouse you are using. Use you touch pad s notebook or external mouse?
    If you use the s key to laptop please disable it with FN + F9 and test with an external mouse only.
    What about the response of the keyboard? You can also try to test with external keyboard only. Only in this way you can see if this issue has something to do with the internal keyboard.
    Please do some testing to see if this issues can be related to defective portable equipment.
  • Problem loading Z2 and sound problem
    Hello
    I was facing this problem recently where I'm wrong took the magnetic cable sony and plugged incorrectly on my Z2 xperiz.
    This was after the 5.1.1 update.
    All of a sudden, my phone did not start using my power of sony Bank and a charging cable quick, that I got afterwards upward and running.
    But the battery drains now how anyone, regardless of the use less.
    A battery that is used for the last days 1.5 with me now barely lasts 9hours without doing anything.
    The battery keeps fluctuating when it reaches 90%.
    A change in two outlet stores, z2 specific cables have not helped
    Three repairs, a new image, two complete resets didn't help at all
    Second question
    The sound is all of a sudden considerably low,
    I have the sony mdr-nc31e, which seems to be much lower than what it was in.
    Once again the repairs did not work, the Equalization does not seem to work any longer.
    and the sound does not seem to come from a speaker from a two, this is the model D6502.
    What is your opinion on that?
    Although the Sony forums have failed.
    I ran a check with the voltmeter.
    What has been found, it's my battery did not receive enough power and this kept fluctuating.
    Given a sony Center who said that I need to replace a battery.
  • SD card and sound problems problems
    Hi all
    I bought my Xperia Z2 probably 2-3 months ago and I must say that I love this phone.
    However, I came across a few issues that seem to be, is not so common that I can't find any solution online (this is why I'm here).
    I have 2 numbers:
    Issue 1:
    SD card problem, it's a funny that I was not able to identify what is actually causing this problem. Now it all started (or when I started to become aware of the issue) when I changed some settings in the camera app. I saw that he was recording pictures of "Internal memory" and since precisely, I bought a new SD card to the Xperia Z2, I wanted to save pictures on the SD card instead.
    So I changed storage SD card and everything is fine (at least, that is what I thought).
    After taking a few photos one day, I came home and wanted in preview mode, in the app photos and (Viewer Photo of Sony) Album, it shows that the picture is damaged or missing (in function that I use either the app). This really annoyed me the photos I took seems to be all lost or corrupt. So I tried to use a file (including file Commander) Explorer to find the file and open it, but it seems to have the same problem. I get the gray background with a picture of a mountain with like a bolt of lightning (sign of broken).
    As a result, I also tried to copy some video files on the SD card and it has been giving me problems too. I tried to copy videos on the SD card in 2 ways, first way is to remove the SD card, connect it to a SD card reader and plug that into the computer. After he finished copy on the SD card, the files would disappear just (I use computers a lot and it's very surprising and new for me... It's like the SD card has deleted the files right after that it has been copied, or maybe even 'hidden' files).
    So since this method did not work, I thought that I try to put the SD card in the phone and connect the phone to the computer then MediaGO from Sony (computer App) allows you to transfer videos and it worked sort of that time. I copied 14 videos on and only the first 2 videos work, the others are all "media is missing" or of some sort. I checked the format of the video and they are all either .avi or .mp4 which I think is a problem because the first 2 videos are in .avi so surely other .avi videos would work too? Don't think...
    Thus, it seems that I'm having trouble with the video and Photos on the SD card as music works fine 100%. Used Media GO to copy music on and it all works great.
    Some of you might suggest to format the SD card, I will say that I have... I tried the methods above before formatting AND after shape (formatting using Xperia Z2, or should I say 'clear').
    The SD card I have is 64 GB Sandisk Ultra (I bought this to anticipate the 4K or records video at 1080 p).
    If the issue here is compatibility with SD cards and I was stupid enough to not have seen that before, then I would be happy to admit that it is my fault and be happy that the solution would simply mean buying another SD card.
    But that said, I highly doubt that would be the problem due to the fact that the SD card is made for performance (not the best performance that the Extreme and Extreme Pro range are much better) and the card is new.
    2nd question:
    Now, this question is not as bad as the first question, is something to do with the sound. I understand that the phone has 3 sound controls, one for the ringtone for when you get a notification or / and phone call, one for the media and an alarm.
    What I do is I have ringer volume, around 50% and media will be dependent as I change when I open an application, but the problem I have had is:
    If I open an application (mainly from the games that has sound/music) and I change the media volume to say 70% or even 20%, whenever I get a notification, while the volume of application notification seems to be 100%, no matter what I do with the media volume. It's weird my volume of ringtone or the default Notification is sitting very low, around 50% or even if I change to 20%.
    What I'm missing here? Any thoughts?
    With 2 questions, last resort would be to factory reset my phone but will be willing to do if there is a good chance of the show is fixed.
    Your thoughts will be greatly received as right now I'm just confused and don't know what to do with the questions. Slowly, I get the feeling that I should just give up on the phone and use it for phone calls, music and forget the whole photograph taking which is very sad I like photo/video of the phone features.
    Sorry to hear you're still having problems with a new SD card
    You bought these cards a dealer known and reputable? It sounds a bit like false SD cards for me. The software I mentioned earlier will be able to demonstrate if an SD card is wrong or broken.
    If you think the phone is harmful somehow maps I recommend you to contact a service point for the phone checked. For more information on how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.
