Start-up problems: I get five sets of sounds double Board on 30 seconds apart.

At startup I get five sets of double 'Board sounds' about 30 seconds.  Anyone have any idea what this course.

You're not likely to get much of an answer if you do not provide the data much more: brand/model computer, type (desktop / laptop) how old.

Usually the tones at the start like that are diagnostic in nature and talk to the technician from the manufacturer something what can be wrong.

  • Difficulty to use indexing to divide the data into five sets of data

    Hello

    I'm using labview to program a mass spectrometer.  I want to conduct surveillance of the multiple ion where I watch the level of five different masses over time.  The five different masses correspond to five of the tensions that are sent via the DAC to my instrument.  After sending each voltage, a voltage was then read AIN.  The help of indexation and a for loop, I can send fill this function.

    My problem is to be able to plot these data.  I need a field of tension AIN (y) and the time (x) for five tension (mass) and plots to display on a single diagram.  I don't know how to correlate data from indexing to separate into five different mass and then repeat the experience by adding data to each mass using all loop.  When I tried I just get data tracing as a straight line as a set of data when I need five sets of data.

    I enclose my vi.  Any help would be great.

    Your VI base design is incorrect:

    • There is no reason for you to have 2 while loops. One is suffient.
    • You should not open the interface in each iteration of the loop. Open outside, do your work and then close when you are finished loop.

    Regarding the map, get rid of the inner loop and eliminate this Build table you have outside the loop for. In order to have a graphic draw several lines, you have need of a 2D array. Because you use a loop for to acquire a reading at the same time, you'll need create a 2D out of the loop for. To do this, put a table to build inside the loop, then a function of 2D matrix transposes outdoors. See the attached example.

    Hi Dan Maarsman,.

    -Did you change on your computer before this problem?
    -Do you have any third party registry cleaner program installed on your computer?

    Start your computer Safe Mode and check if you can successfully start.

    Safe mode starts Windows with a limited set of files and drivers. Startup programs do not work in safe mode, and only the basic drivers needed to start Windows are installed.

    1. did you of recent changes on the computer?

    2 when was the last time it was working fine?

    It is possible that some third-party programs installed on the computer is causing the problem.

    I suggest that you put the computer in a clean boot state and check if it helps.

    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    I've been sarching for hours and hours... and it's already after hours of working offline with the client in their home... no restoration of the system or the backups... typical noob... but not their fault it happened... I did EVERYTHING suggested. Nothing has worked... Almost abandoned and prepared for a re - install... then I found it at the last second...

    «OMG 911techmedics...» You're crazy GENIUS!

    Finally, something works and does not require a complete reinstall of the OS. I was so scared of it because Asus does not save a physical copy of the Recovery Manager on the hard drive, and somehow my backup discs (6 disks, waste of my DVD: O) don't work at all after spending an hour by burning.

    What happened was I used RegTweaker to do a cleaning of registry on my Win7, my computer worked faster, but I lost my WLan service and no matter what I was doing nothing worked, until I stumbled upon your post! I have read more than 50 pages of Web/forum sites and tried probably suggested and none of them worked.

    I tried:

    (1) Microsoft Winsock32 Fix
    (2) replacing Winsock dll
    (3) Yes Netsh wlan with the set command
    (4) order of Netsh reset catalog
    (5) LSP Fix.exe
    (6) right click 'Manage' on computer and everything related to the WLAN + dependencies on "automatic".

    I spent 8 hours and none of the above worked. Apparently a lot of people have the same problem after using a registry cleaner. He has tried, tested and proven. I did the registry cleaning on 2 computers and next thing I know on reboot, it is that the WLAN Service went AWOL. My first suspicion is gone to a missing or corrupted Winsock, but I never thought that a simple change of 2 files in the registry would solve the problem. Your piece of text was scary to look at in the beginning, but I was so desperate that I was willing to try anything and it really paid off. Microsoft should pay you the man! Their stupid suggestions do not work. For those who like me, I break down the instructions for you:

    Step 1: Click the button START
    Step 2: In the search box, type "regedt32" (of course, do not include the ""), right-click on the result of the research and the "Run as Administrator".

    Step 3: Click 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE', should extend out to a list of things
    Step 4: Next, choose 'SYSTEM', is expected to increase again
    Step 5: Choose "CurrentControlSet", develops again
    Step 6: Select 'Services', develops into a great big list of things

    Step 7: Click on "Dhcp", the right window shows the files in this folder
    Step 8: Double click on "DependOnService".
    Step 9: Remove all the words in the text, except "Afd" box, and then click OK. You are done here

    Step 10: Then under 'Services', are looking for "EapHost", this should be a few records below Dhcp step 11: same thing, double-click on the file "DependOnService".
    Step 12: Delete everything in the text are and click OK. You are finished.

    Now close everything and RESTART WINDOWS. Your WLan should be back and work once at startup of your computer. Hope that makes you win like he saved me. Thanks to an original poster for the wonderful of the resolution. Your message has been almost too obscure to find, but I'm glad that this has been RESOLVED! I will be passing the word around to save people from the constant agony of WLAN SVC goes ballistic every time after a cleaning the registry. »

    Now then... I was about to wipe the machine flowering in any case, I thought ' what the *', and just did the 12 steps without even a reg backup... AND THIS DO FEAR WORKED!

    911techmedics saved our skins...

    Thank you!!!

  • Start-up problems: Windows Vista

    My mother has a Sony Vaio VGN NR430E; a few months ago she started having problems with the start up. His laptop keeps restarting until it had a chance to take charge of the user. It allows you to choose different options such as safe mode and last good known configuration, just start to name a few, however is not a difference that one you choose because the end result is the same which is: it restarts; before you restart, you see a blue screen, but only in a fraction of a second and then it starts again. I want to format it, but she didn't burn the recovery disks. How would I be able to solve this problem?

    If no one responds to you:

    http://eSupport.Sony.com/Perl/select-System.pl?PRODTYPE=1, 24,26,66,9,70,5,72

    Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

    Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.
    See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.
    Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    You can try this:

    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.

    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/tutorials/tutorial148.html

    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.

    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.

    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:

    http://NeoSmart.net/blog/2008/Windows-Vista-recovery-disc-download/

    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html

    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.

    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.

    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.

    Whenever I start my computer, I get a statement that Windows Defender cannot be started due to error code and I can not start it manually by the same error code. How can I solve this problem?

    Hello

    What is display / causing the error message? Some security/antivirus/antispyware products can cause this
    error. On those which do you use, including everything that you have ever even those uninstalled (remainders
    may cause problems). AVG and others have been known to disable Windows Defender.

    Start - type in the search box - Services - find top - Right Click - Run as Admin

    Windows Defender - value STARTED and AUTOMATIC

    or set MANUAL and STOPPED if necessary

  • Problem to get the startup-config under the privilege level

    Hi guys

    I use the level of privilege 15.2 and in this version, that I can not get the startup-config under some of IOS (in this case, IE 7)

    I have no problem to get it from the earlier version, also to 15.1

    Router #sh privileges

    Current privilege level is 7

    Router #sh startup-config

    With the help of 4414 262136 bytes

    % Error opening nvram: / startup-config (Permission denied)

    Config:

    privilege exec level 7 show startup-config

    privilege level exec 15 see the configuration

    show privileges exec level 1

    When I added cmd ' privilege exec level 7 show startup-config ', IOS generated automatically new line "privilege exec 15 level show configuration.

    seems that there must be an "improvement" under versions of 15.2

    Any ideas?

    Thank you

    Hello

    I have faced the same problem and opened a folder. Please find the answer I get from the TAC:

    ==============================================

    This is designed by design as a security measure. Starting in the new versions of IOS, the privilege level of access to system files must be configured separately. There are two options to solve this problem:

    (1) run the command at the prompt to activate it.

    (2) set the privilege level of the file system via the config command "file privilege X" with X the number of privilege level

    ==============================================

    Hope that helps.

    Best regards.

    Start up problem when having multiple databases on the machine:

    I installed two databases.

    When I stop the database and try to start using

    Startup pfile ='... location... " ;

    I get ora-12514: TNS: listener is not currently know of service rquirest in connect descriptor

    When I try again after 3 seconds, I get a new error, ora-01041: internal error. Hostdef extension doesn't exist

    Stop and start gave no problems when I had a database. Why I get problems when I have two databases?

    I use: show the pfile parameter. SPFile; to make sure that I have the right parameter locations, the error should not be the location.

    I never installed two databases on a single machine, then perhaps that I make mistake of a first - timer.

    Anyone know how to get this working, i.e. start and stop DB without problems?

    First of all... the Oracle Service for the instance must be started for the DB that you try to connect or start.
    Next... from the command prompt:

    Set oracle_sid =

    sqlplus sys as sysdba

    Startup pfile = 'location of the pfile respective db.

    Now, if you want to start or connect to another DB, which is on the same server (again assuming that the Service is STARTED)...
    From the same command prompt or other session...

    Set oracle_sid =

    sqlplus sys as sysdba

    Startup pfile = 'location of the pfile respective db.
