  • Satellite Pro M30 - BSOD (c000021a / 0xc0000135)

    After a restart, the laptop (with XP Pro with SP2 installation) does not start - it shows BSOD stop: c000021a (fatal system error) - windows logon process stops unexpectedly with status 0xc0000135.

    I do not have an installation CD-ROM - only a CD-ROM for the regeneration of the product provided by the dealer. Running this will restore the original configuration of the software, losing all the following facilities, data, configuration, etc. Because I don't have a recent full backup at hand, I hesitate to use this CD-ROM.

    Is there a less painful alternative? (Please say Yes and provide the necessary information!).

    Hello

    you get the blue screen every time you start next.? If not, you can try to use safe mode when you press F8 after BIOS boot.

    Then go in Mode safe and you could you data safe at first, then you could look if something does not work well.

    If you cannot press F8 because the BSOD is faster than you ;-)

    you could try the recovery CD Expert Mode.

    Hello

    1. do you receive this after you see Start button or entry?

    2 have you made any changes to the computer before the show?

    Method 1: Boot errors are fixed by the clean boot.

    Perform the clean boot and see if that helps.

    A clean boot to check if startup item or services to third-party application is causing this issue.

    Reference: How to solve a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or Windows 7:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

    Note: when you're done to diagnose, follow step 7 in the article to start on normal startup.

    Method 2: Some malware parody itself as InfoCenter.exe, especially when it is located in the folder c:\windows or c:\windows\system32.

    I suggest you make a system full scan just to be sure.

    Here is a link that will give you information on how to perform a full scan of the system:

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    , Note 1: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

    Note 2: The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

    Hi petrospapamihelakis,

    Looks like one of the installed program on the computer has been corrupted.

    ·         Have you checked the problem in safe mode?

    Step 1: Try to start in safe mode to see if you get the error.

    Step 2: If he is able to start very well without any errors, and then try to try perform a clean boot to normal mode to check whether a third-party program is causing the problem.

    Hi PCGREENHORN,

    This can also occur if the shortcut for the program file is corrupted. We recommend that you start the program from C:\Program Files and check the result.
    a. Click Start, click computer.
    b. open the drive root that is a drive where Windows is installed.
    c. open the Program Files folder and look for GhostSurf program folder.
    d. open the program folder and launch the program by double-clicking on the boot file.

    Note: If you are able to launch the program, then create a shortcut in the startup file.

  • application error 0xc0000135

    application error 0xc0000135

    How can I fix it?

    Hello, Noman,

    What application you were using when the error occurred?

    These errors can occur if there is a conflict between the third-party program installed on the computer and I suggest that you perform the clean boot procedure and check.
    To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows Vista by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

    Perform the check and the clean boot if you have the problem.
    1. click on Start, type msconfig in the search box and pressENTER.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on continue.
    2. in the general tab, click Selective startup.
    3. under Selective startup, click on to clear the load startup items check box.
    4. click on the Services tab, click to select the hide all Microsoft Services check box, and then clickdisable all.
    5. click on OK.
    6. When you are prompted, click restart.
    7. after the computer starts, check if the problem is resolved.

    If the problem is resolved to check what is the cause of the problem, referring to the link given below:
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135
    Reset the computer to start as usual
    When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to reset the computer to start as usual:
    Click Start, type msconfig in the search box and pressENTER.
    If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or clickcontinue.
    On the general tab, click the Normal Startup option, and then clickOK.
    When you are prompted to restart the computer, click restart.

  • Impossible to find a solution for 0xc0000135.

    After searching for multiple sites and forums for the solution to the question of 0xc0000135 I have not found a fix for the problem. I was hoping someone could shed some light on my problem.

    I run a Windows Vista (first right problem) and we tried the following solutions to fix it.

    -Uninstall / reinstall all programs and .net Framework 1.1, 3.5. (including the new 4.0)

    -Installing / uninstalling / reinstalling all C++ Redistributable animals provided by the Microsoft site.

    -Ran orders of Chkdsk, you can think of.

    -Tried to reboot from a previous restore point.

    -Ran all software anti-virus always running and found nothing.

    -Many other things that I don't remember right now.

    Basically, I can't find anything to solve the problem. When I run Paint.Net, it says that miss me a C++ redistributable file. Although I uninstalled and re-downloaded all files in C++ that I could find. All separately and even all together. (2005, 2008 and 2010 files)

    So far the programs / games that have been affected are the following: Avast Anti virus, Fallout3, Paint.net, Photoshop.

    Everything that someone at - it needs to help me solve this problem?

    The following sites, I looked and tried to use in order to solve this problem. (Unfortunately they do not have help me a lot.)

  • 64-bit applications not start or start and immediately close. Some produce such as cleanmgr.exe 0xc0000135 error code

    My Version of Windows is the 64-bit version of Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

    After a Microsoft Update for Windows Defender and a few other improvements of Vista security, my computer has rebooted and started running very, very slowly.  I went to reboot the computer again to receive an error message on a rolling stop and check that the drive should run.  After Check Disk, windows restarted again and brought me to my office.  I tried to open IE8 do pop open and close immediately.  After an investigation, I determined that all of my 64-bit applications no longer work, but all of my 32-bit versions.  Some applications ask me with an error with the code window in there, such as cleanmgr.exe 0xc0000135.

    I tried to start the disk check again during the computer startup process, but that did not fix the problem.

    I was not able to find decent advice online to help me.

    Remove the Vista updates; two ways to do this:

    1. a System Restore to before the updates:

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > System Restore > restore time/choose your own date > next

    If you use Norton, disable it before using the system restore.

    Press F8 at the startup/power and the list of startup options, use THE ARROW key to select Safe mode > and then press ENTER.

    System restore steps according to the info above.

    Also:

    2. click on start > right click on computer > properties > Windows updates down the lower left corner > updates installed in the lower left corner in the next window

    > then click the one that you don't want > uninstall will appear at the top > uninstall it.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In addition, on the page where you clicked "Installed updates", click on change settings at the top left corner it
    > Change update settings in the next page of AutoUpdate to "check for updates but let me choose etc" > OK ".
    When you take a look at pending updates, you can either download/install them one at the time, namely the update causing you problems.
    > or if you do not need an individual > right-click on > UAC prompt > hide it
