Sticky mouse microsoft
I have the MS Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0. The rubberized medium have become sticky. Less than 2 years ago, I bought 5 boxes of these mice. I decided to enter another mailbox storage costs. As soon as I open the box and pull the mouse on, I noticed the rubber supports the fresh new mouse its also sticky. I feel that the distribution of support rubber happens over time, even if you do not use the mouse. Now, I'm not sure I want to open the 3 remaining boxes of mice. Microsoft will replace the 3 new boxes closed?

Cannot connect mouse Microsoft Sculpt comfort Bluetooth constantly
I can't get my mouse Microsoft Sculpt comfort to stay always connected to my laptop (Win7 x 64).
In the middle of use, it stops working. I studied in the devices & Printers and the device returns is no longer there. I pass by add it a device Wizard, making sure that my mouse is discoverable (green and red lights flash alternately) and he said he's logged and it will look for a driver. The laptop detects a driver and a "Bluetooth Service Configuration" window appears.
Open Device Manager, I see that HID-compliant mouse is added to the list of mice and other pointing devices. As soon as the "Configuration of Bluetooth Services" window closes, the mouse is removed from the Device Manager and removed from devices & Printers.
I tried to uninstall and reinstall the Bluetooth driver.
I tried to turn off the Bluetooth power management feature.
I tried to change the batteries.
I tried to move closer and further away.
I tried browsing the Add Assistant device with Microsoft mouse & keyboard Center installed and uninstalled.
I restarted at various times during the process.
What should I try next?
- I didn't do any hardware or software changes before this problem I can think
- My computer is a Dell Latitude 6430u
- I have Kaspersky installed 10.1.2.23 on my computer. It is managed by Active Directory by my IT Department if I can't make changes to it or turn it off somehow.

I have three computers on a network in my basement and recently updated all three to the x 8 mouse. Two have Vista and XP. The problem I have is when playing fps the clicks of other X 8 mouse are playing games with them. My question is... Is it possible that all three can also be defined on different frequencies for don't mess does not with each other?
Any help would be appreciated.
Doug
Hi ddallas159,
According to the Microsoft Hardware site, the Sidewinder x 8 is 2.4 Ghz, and there is no way to select a different frequency. You may need to replace it with a couple other mice for your application.

OK, I have a common problem with starting my PC under Windows 7 64-bit. It was all pretty quick start for the last month or so that I had installed. Then it started to freeze for several minutes (anything from 5 minutes to 10 minutes) during boot to the Windows loading screen.
Since then, I tried different things so he can start normally once again, including the tings which should theorectically not affect him as they have all been there before this problem started and starting very well, this includes:
Looking at these latest material changes such as I added HD
Change the SATA disks on (I've got 3)
Get startup in MSconfig to use cores max (this is a quad core) & memory (4 GB)
By looking at the files bootlog (Nothing don't jump other than I apparently trying to load a couple of drivers twice - I have listed this morning at the bottom of this message for reference bootlog)
Recovering to a point a month before the problems started in the hope that it will be possible to uninstall the newer drivers that might be the problem, and that's where I noticed what I believe could be the cause, as seems to be the point where it went wrong.I had added a Microsoft Mouse and keyboard and the WU offered an optional update from:
Microsoft Microsoft mouse - other hardware - & detection (USB) keyboard driver
After installation of this I'm pretty certain that the softstart right down, so I tried to uninstall it. Only I can't find a way to do it. Like when I do a restore of the system to a point before the driver install and the problem that occur, this is not the driver, that just seems to keep. I then uninstalled Intellipoint mouse and keyboard and re-installed mouse PS2 standard. At the same time, I removed my Microsoft Mouse Wireless USB keyboard &, all without effect. I restored my system again and I'll be back to what, according to me, the problem is who is the...
Microsoft Microsoft mouse - other hardware - & detection (USB) keyboard driver
But with no obvious way or to withdraw, I can't confirm that.
Other notable points:
During the startup, the HD access is constant, so it works like crazy.
The keyboard will be insensitive to things like capslock or numlock if for the first six months of waiting, when NumLock is on and for the second half of waiting, when NumLock is off. I think that my default setting is for numlock off the coast.Help, it's torture, especially when you see that the sub boots 10 seconds on the web.
Cheers, Jamie.

Scroll wheel on the mouse Microsoft 3000 wireless has stopped working?
I bought a Microsoft Wireless 3000 Mobile in purple mouse, manufacturer #6BA-0026 last month and now the wheel has stopped working. I can't move the mouse. Only the buttons work, this mouse is less, is about a month. Cannot take back to the store because they one day 14 return policy, so now I'm stuck with a mouse that doesn't work. Is it possible to get the scroll wheel to work. Using the button takes a lot more movement and it is easier to use the wheel. Why my mouse was working only for a month? Do I have to spend more money to buy another mouse? Is there some type of downloading software that I can use to make this mouse works correctly.

need help make bluetooth keyboard & mouse Microsoft works on Tablet
I had a Motion LE1600 Tablet for a few years. I like it. I had to recently reimage my Windows XP and start over. I improved all Svc Pack3 and reinstalled programs. I use Security Essentials. I still need to get my Microsoft IntelliMouse explore and Trackball bluetooth keyboard work. Currently I use a USB keyboard and a mouse, but I have the IntelliMouse CD that looks as if it would install two items. I can't make it work and I would really like to help someone who is very familiar with these items.
I tried and failed to do this work. I tried to follow all the items on the installation guide that is displayed on the screen during installation, but I can't understand even when the connection of brand/Break button is on the keyboard.
Ouch! I really need help from someone who is familiar with these elements!

Bluetooth mouse Microsoft disconnects randomly.
Vista Ultimate 64-bit. Laptop HP HDX with Bluetooth / wireless card. The MS 5000 Bluetooth Mouse mouse log and will not reconnect after slowing for a hour or two. Back to zero is to reconnect the mouse BT.
Cycling the power on the mouse does not help, the cycling switch on the bluetooth card Wireless does not help. Purchased and installed BlueSoleil and it does not help. Disable and enable the driver software has no effect.
Yes, the first thing that I tried has new batteries and have done so several times. I called Microsoft and they sent me a new Notebook 5000 BT mouse and it is exactly the same thing, it disconnects after being idle for an hour or two. The power settings for my lap top are defined to keep the wireless / bluetooth on at all time and without stopping to save energy or at any other time. Wireless Internett works all the time and never turned off, even when the BT mouse does not work.
The only thing that works is to restart. Then, the Microsoft Bluetooth Notebook Mouse works contains 5000 embellish until it disconnects.
Maybe I don't understand the use a BT mouse? Shouldn't it reconnect automatically after setting the idle, by simply moving the mouse? Everything I tried should not be necessary... wight?
BTW, the first thing out of the mouth of the man, that I spoke to on the phone line to support MS was that XP is easy to use and VISTA was not! THE FIRST THING SAID, WITH a SUPPORT of MS TECHNICIAN! He's the guy who sent me the new BT 5000 mouse that does the same thing as the old mouse.

It should work absolutely not. There are a few more things to discover. Have you tried both by clicking and moving the mouse buttons when you try to reconnect? Experiment a bit with one or the other.
Then see if disabling power on the Bluetooth radio management help. Open the Device Manager, expand Bluetooth devices, find the device Bluetooth (not the enumerator), right-click on properties and go to the power management tab, if it exists. Uncheck the box "Allow the computer to turn off the device to save power" to see if this changes the behavior at all.
Thank you!
