  I understand that you have purchased storage additional iCloud and your credit card has been charged, but you do not see that the storage has been added.  Have you received an email from Apple regarding this purchase?

  The first thing I would say is to restart your iPhone.  Then tap general > storage & use of iCloud.  In the iCloud section, the amount of 'Storage' has changed?

  Sorry this is no bug.  You get 5 GB of free storage for backup icloud.  When it exceeds the 5GB free it backup in icloud. or you begin to erase data from your phone to keep less 5 GB or more memory buy you icloud under change storage plan.

  I was checking my iCloud storage last night (I have the free option of 5 GB) and my data usage was about 500 MB, leaving 4.5 GB available. This has been the case for some time.

  I see that you are concerned about what fits in your iCloud, storage, specifically Documents.  In your screenshot, you are in the section storage management.  This will have a breakdown of what fits in your iCloud storage.  Keep scrolling down through the list on the left side to continue the display of objects that are stored in iCloud.  Check out the tips in the link below to manage your iCloud-storage space:

  I'm trying to free up storage on my iPhone 6 more running iOS 9.3.1. Photos is empty. Recently deleted photos is empty. Photos is disabled in settings > icloud > photos. The rockers are disabled in the settings > photos and camera. But its still appearing as using 440 MB of storage in the photo library and 30.6 MB in shared photo streams.

  

  How to explain and free this storage? Are there ghosts stored photos? All other discussions on this topic as the change of date and time has not worked for me.

  Go to settings/general/storage and use iCloud. Click on storage management in the ICLOUD section. It will tell you exactly how your iCloud-storage space is affected.
