  It's very useful advice and there is a 'stress test' built into most computers portable consumption made by HP.  It is called 'Run In' test and he will continue to test your machine until you that either stop or it fails.  This document contains more information.  The relevant section is downstairs and is called "HP System Diagnostics".

• BSOD when a stress test (occurs after several Windows update)

  I just built a new computer and it has been great to work for the first week but it has been giving me BSOD everytime I try to perform a stress test. Can someone please look at my dmp file and identify what is causing the problem?

  With a DMP file we cannot tell if it was hardware or the stress test itself.  What stress test you were running and why were you running?

  The DMP file points to Genuine Intel so I suspect that you was running Prime95 and test the CPU. If this is the case and that you want us to study it there a memory full DMP (large file) is located in C: | Called WINDOWS MEMORY. DMP.

  You're out of luck on the BB env... I also just Android...

  I don't know all the stress test tool - you will need to write your own...

  You can connect a debugger via Eclipse... you can not a stack trace, UNLESS you catch

  a Throwable or you catches the Exception... and even then your code cannot

  obtain or generate the stack trace... to look in the newspaper of the peripheral events - and IS NOT

  tell you the line number... only the method is in...

  I followed the post by Chris Muir, configure Jmeter. It worked fine with the application deployed in Weblogic server 10.3.4.0 (developed using Jdev 11.1.1.4.0)

  But once we moved to Weblogic server 10.3.5.0 (Jdev 11.1.2.0.0), following the steps above is to launch the common * "inactivity" * message. I also noticed the * 'JsessionId' * part mentioned in the article is not present in the URL now.

  Some tests today on 11.1.1.6.0, I'm not sure you need you worry Afr-window-Id, so try without replacing ${Afr-Windows-Id} in your applications.

  BTW, did you start this process on a small test to see if you can get that to work rather than a big test with 100s of applications?

  I was able to configure JMeter to test ADF faces 10g application, now is the time to define the load and the scenario.
  When reading JMeter docs, I'm curious if others has been doing so successfully and can share it. (at least Mr. Chris Muir...?  :)
  
  I have two questions:
  
  (1) the page I want to test is a Page of entry of order with master - detail (form - editable table).
  I f I just create a group of JMeter threads with Thread number = 50.
  These '50 users' insert exactly the SAME data, even if I have a single Unique constraint on a field "Order-Ref" (which is not automatically generated, but entered by the user).
  Is it possible to use a meter on JMeter, so this "Order-Ref" field will be filled with 'REF-1', ' REF - 2 "etc...?". (so that I can survive the unique constraint)
  
  (2) have you tried JMeter to insert data of editable table ADF?

  Hello. I have been runing performed brand bench Furmark (1280 x 720 resolution) and my GPU (Nvidia GeForce 550 M) climbed to temperatures around 96 degrees C, then the laptop turns off suddenly. IM afraid it can happen during the games. Could be a defective model? It is still under warranty, should I send again? Thank you.

  Its normal that the laptop turns off itself in order to avoid damage to the transformers. Try a few games on the laptop. Comparative analysis will certainly cause the laptop heat so its normal.

  This is for an indefinite period.  On the one hand, it depends on not only memory / CPU but space.  If your hard drive is only 73 GB mirrored, which limit your hosting space.  You can use 1 or 2 or 4 vCPU, you can place the 8 GB of memory in a virtual machine, there are too many variables, it depends on how you configure your virtual machine.

  There is no such thing as a 'Virtual Machine' calculator  However, there is a basic ration, which means that the number of virtual cores (Virtual CPU assigned to EACH virtual machine) and is around 8:1.So for each virtual computer with 1 vCPU you can have "theoretically" 8 by heart physical VM, but it is just a baseline, and it always depends on type, the amount of your VM.

  Linux, windows all vary with your machine, there is no concrete number, we can give you.

• Pavilion DV6 freezes but passes the Tests of memory and HARD drive

  I have a dv6-3025dx that the POST is fine. It does not start after the screen 7 start, the recovery Partition loading bar or a Windows 7 recovery disk loading bar. The HP Vision diagnostic and a drive OEM 7 freeze as well. Start with a Ubuntu DVD displays icon on the keyboard at the bottom then nothing else than a cursor flashing at the top left of the screen. The HARD drive and memory in the BIOS Tests pass but the start-up Test, the Burn-in Test and the Test of memory in the partition the disk diagnostic all freeze immediately.

  I reset BIOS, change the RAM with known working sticks and clone the HDD on a well known player and still get the same result. I had to clone the drive from a different machine, because Acronis True Image 2011 boot disk crashes after the splash screen. A 3rd party BACK base RAM and HDD tests pass with flying colors; including Windows, MemTest86 Memory Diagnostic + and video memory Stress test. Basically, I can't start any GUI environment. only of DOS or Linux command line. I'm guessing that maybe the video chip? Ideas or confirm my diagnosis?

  You make text based OSes seem to work well. This could mean that the video card is at fault with loads greater than the bare.

  However, it could also be a SATA controller flaw that does not correctly handle the load. There is really no way to test this reliable I found.

  No matter whether the video controller or the controller SATA, the result is the same and that is replace the motherboard. If it was office, a SATA PCI-based controller can be purchased cheap enough to exclude it. However, this is not an option here.

  Hello Nutn Spec.  I understand that your notebook is currently unable to boot.

  What kind of questions you know before performing the stress test?  This will help me identify the cause of the problem.

  Have you tried to do a hard reset?  It drains all the residual energy of the laptop and hardware reset forces.  If you haven't tried this before I would suggest trying the following.

  1. Make sure that the laptop is completely turned off.
  2. Remove the battery and AC power.
  3. Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds, three times.
  4. Replace the battery and AC power.
  5. Try to start Notepad.

  Thanks for posting.

  What PC-Doctor team has found here is that on a system with this number of readers, when tests try to load at the same time we are CPU load and memory stress test, load prevents the modules load on all drives before hitting the timeouts.
