  • SpeedGrade will not meet the numeric keypad keys / partially cut 2nd monitor image

    Very strange... I just opened a project in Speedgrade. When I started working, I noticed that the keys of the numeric keypad do not work. In addition, the changes made with the mouse are delayed. Apart from that, I use a second monitor and about a quarter of the picture from the left edge is cut. First works very well, it is quite another thing, it's a brand new computer. I tried all the usual stuff like reboot I even uninstalled and re-installed, but to no avail. I use the latest version of speedgrade on a system 4790 Windows 8.1 Intel i7 with 32 GB of RAM and a card GTX 780. Does anyone have ideas, what could happen?

    Hello

    You did that the display in the window of parameters setting are set correctly? You can manually adjust the resolution of your screen in the second.

    For the delay, have you created a mask in your project?

    Thank you

  • Images jpg downloaded - can't stick cut into jpg images

    I downloaded a jpg low resolution on the Web and intend to make a few cuts image of the photos that I have taken--and to paste the cut out images of low resolution uploaded photos.  With Elements 9, I can cut and paste the photo for the photo if they are pcitures that I took on my camera just find - can't cut and paste in the downloaded images of low resolution.  An individual Cup took the picture and paste in the file jpg low resolution creates a layer, but it appears white.  I even took a jpg I downlaoded the Web and scanned it so he could take off protection which can be comng down with the uploaded jpg.  Nothing seems to work.  Thoughts?

    Are you sure that your images are not too large for low resolution? If you get the move tool and drag the layer stuck around, do you see something? I was wondering if maybe the image you paste is not so much larger (because of the higher PPI) that you see only an empty corner of it in the image of low resolution.

  • Links inside cells with bottom of cut-out background images?

    Hi, I have a question if someone could respond I would appreciate. When I add a link, either text or image/rollover, to a cell that has a background image, it looks like the background image is cutting behind the link showing the page background. I'm confused. Please follow this link - http://graphicdesigninmilwaukee.com/ContactUs.html and look at the link under ' Contact us by E-mail. I've been looking for a solution, but unfortunately it escapes me. I must be missing something. Thanks again for any advice.

    You have this rule in your CSS-

    #Table_01 tr td a {}

    do-size: 12px;

    color: #EAEAEA;

    text-transform: none;

    make-style: normal;

    text-align: left;

    do-family: Arial, Helvetica, without serif.

    text-decoration: none;

    background-image: url(images/WebSite-Slices-Rollovers_27.png);

    background-attachment: fixed;

    Top: 0px;

    margin-right: 0px;

    margin-bottom: 0px;

    left margin: 0px;

    }

    Try to remove these two lines and see if you like the look best.  Moreover, there is no reason to have the style of attachment of background at all - there is nothing that could scroll in this anchor tag!
  • Help with a set of cut in an image/clipping mask

    Hello.

    I need to cut out circles in an image so that the background shows through. A bit like a clipping mask reverse... but I don't know if existing ones...  And once I have cut holes in the image I need to put on a mask of clipping on all this, so that only a part of the image is always on display with the cutting parts.

    Or I guess if I could find a way to create a weird shape clipping mask that would work as well.

    The image below is something like what I'm trying to accomplish just different image and the different sizes and locations of the cutting edge.

    Untitled-4.jpg

    bonnierod,

    If I understand correctly, in the right way, you can:

    (1) create the basic shape of the Clipping Path (the path to use for the clipping mask)

    (2) create cuts on top of it,

    (3) select) 1 and 2) and Pathfinder > less before.

    (Apply 4) 3).

  • Operations cut - paste, the image I'm sticking on a new image is too large.

    When I take and image to the Clipboard and place it on a new image, the image on the Clipboard is extremely broad.  How can I make it smaller?

    You will notice collage puts the item stuck on a new layer and must be selected.

    Don t ctrl or cmd (Mac) t Edit > free transform work? Just hold the SHIFT key while dragging one of the corner handles to keep perspective.

    By dragging the cursor inside the image positions. or by using the arrow keys on your keyboard can be refined.

    Press enter when finished.

  • Is it possible to apply a stroke effect in a Photoshop image in After Effects?

    Hello

    I imported an image (a maze) of Photoshop into AE, and I want the image to appear as if it is drawn using the animation of the race.  Is it possible to apply a sort of way along which the image can 'fill' - similar to how you can do it with text?  I don't see a way to convert the image into a shape layer on which I could apply the edge effect, either.

    Thank you to everyone who has been so useful in these forums - I received a lot of questions to you all!

    Meredith

    You simply create a solid color to put on top of your photoshop image, set the blending mode to something like overlay or multiply so you can see through it, and then use the pen tool to draw traces of mask on the lines that you want to animate. Then add the effect of contour using all masks, adjust the width to cover the lines, and then animate the position of beginning or end of the race to hide lines. The last step is to set the mode to race either on transparent or reveal original, and then use the solid as a matte for your photoshop layer. If the lines cross you may need to add additional animated masks to clean the intersection of lines, but that's all there is to it.

  • Cutting of an image?

    Is it possible to limit a picture object to draw only within its limits? I know that you can use a mask, but it's for a gmae it could degrade performance for each refresh of hide.

    Yep, you can it done in 2 ways, define .mask any displayObject or set .scrollRect = new Rectangle (x, y, w, h);

    You'll want to check what is the best, but masking seems to be faster in general on the playbook (everywhere else, scrollRect is usually the way to go if you need a non-rectangular shape, or an alpha blending)

  • Links to an Image file?

    Hello, I am very new to dreamweaver and I have a specific question about the image links. I can't easily find the answer so I decided to ask in the forums. I don't know how to explain it clearly my question so I decided to go with a bunch of images.

    b.jpg

    Suppose I want an article on an image file is a link. In this case, just the word 'link' in the middle of this image. I don't want the surrounding space (highlighted in pink) connect anywhere.

    a.jpg

    What I said, is to make a table and a section just the word "link". Like this:

    d.jpg

    It works well, but it has its drawbacks. It seems a bit tedious to cut apart the image and place it in a table like that when I'm just trying to make a connection. Now, I have four additional images on my website who do nothing and just makes it look sloppy.

    I would be grateful any solutions or tips.

    Put a 'hotspot' (or a map of the image) on the image (Google the term).  You can easily do this with DW place the image on your page, select it, using the hotspot on the Inspector Tool target properties to draw the shape and the position of the bond you need, and provide the path to the destination of the link.

    Hi Diana,

    1 have you ever done any recent hardware or exchange of software on your computer before the show?

    2 have you tried to check the issue with another application?

    3. what files are copy you / paste in Corel Draw, using the cutting tool?

    If the problem is specific to Corel application, then I suggest you to contact the Corel Support for assistance.

  • Illustrator CC 2014 - with the exception of web image cut

    In Illustrator CC 2014 when I save a vector image of a thick line (e.g. 20pt) while using save for web and the cutting of the image (so do not select clip to work plan) and scaling for example 20%, then the edges of the drawing are cut off.
    I'm not completely sure, but I think that previous versions did not have this problem.

    If I save the image at 100% while the edges are cut off.

    I guess that save for web uses the center of the line of vector to determine where to cut the image if the image is reduced.

    But it must use the 'outside' the race to cut the image.

    Any ideas on the cause or the solution?

    P.S.: Yes, I am a Windows user ;-)

    Bert,

  • First elements 12 is cutting images after completing the project

    I recently completed a video clip and after the finalization of the draft project and saving it down like a wmv. file, I saw the video and parts have been cut. I use a lot of green screen keying in my videos and sometimes the top of the head of the people will be cut off and images are not aligned to the way I had them in the editing program. This only happens after I save and share the project, but still everything seems fine in the editing window. No heads or members are cut off and the back ground images for the look of effect green screen well in the editing window, once again the project is saved in the background images are not be stretched across the screen as they appear in the editing program. I don't understand why this is happening and I am looking help before I resort to changing my work once again.

    Case & point, why do I see in the edit window different from what I see after the project is completed? Help, please!

    What operating system is running your 12 items first? For now I'll assume Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 64 bits in the cases where I need to mention details.

    What you describe is probably an incompatibility of the parameters of the project to import and export. If we start with the details.

    The project is set automatically to the preset or project that you have? (See change project Menu/Settings/general and readings for the Mode edition of time base, image size and Pixel Aspect Ratio even if they seem to be grayed out).

    What are the properties of what you put on the timeline of the project? Do the properties of the match source media details of the preset program you use.

    Then most likely to cause the problem... your export settings.

    What you have written, you probably use

    Publish + share

    Computer

    Windows Media

    Now the important part, that you choose for 'Presets' and what are your settings on the tabs in advanced and Audio of the selected preset button/video?

    The answers will be your contact information.

    If you have any questions about what is written or need clarification on this, feel free to ask. But the answers are the need for all of the foregoing.

    Thank you.

  • How and why to cut an Image?

    I export a Photoshop design in Dreamweaver. I know HOW to cut, but I'm having a hard time finding the reason WHY cut an import image in Dreamweaver. Why not simply import the entire image, as a single whole image?

    I also have difficulties in finding the best way to cut out a picture. This is very new for me. I looked at a Web page, I created there are almost 5 years (my first exposure to the design of web sites) and I cut out the top of the page in 3 images - I had two images of prominent on each side and in the middle in this context. Then I divided the central bar (with buttons) and each of the buttons made their slice/image.

    However, I just found a Web site where they finally have their design cut into three images - a logo, buttons and a picture of the top layer.

    This is the site I came across: http://designshack.net/articles/graphics/how-to-make-slicing-suck-less-tips-and-tricks-for-tranchage-un-psd /

    My cutting looks like the picture of the opening under the heading "Killing the Clutter" of this Web site, not the image of closing (their goal) in the same section.

    Why are they singling out the logo? Should I do this with my design?

    Why are they including all buttons in a slice, instead of individual slices? Is this OK to do? For the purposes of the rollover image, I thought they had to be separated.

    They do not save the background. Should they be? Unless they you import the background as one large image.

    I appreciate those who could recommend not to slice an image and do stuff with code instead, but I don't have the knowledge to go that route and I have to cut the image.

    WHY is a question. The answer is that it DEPENDS. It depends on your layout. I've never understood why people would be divides a picture say 800px x 800px in 10 pictures just of have reconnected them on the web page as an entire image (taking into account that it has no buttons, links, hot spots, etc.). 10 seprate images means that the server must send 10 different applications in order to rebuild this image. I imagine that most people get caught up in slices because they aren't sure how to build a different Web site. Unless the image is huge, it is best to apply http for a picture of 10. If a page has tons of server must like that, which only slows down the loading of the page.

    Why are they singling out the logo? Should I be doing this with my design?

    They can do this to create an image map or reversal of their logo image. You certainly don't want to use an image 400px x 400px if your reactive rollover image is only x 100px 30px. Unless you use an image on a bearing replacement method, sometimes it is better to create a css div or a class that defines the area for the turnaround.

    OK, I have to finish my answer here... the new layout of the forum is driving me CRAZY with all these "Server internal errors"

    HEY ADOBE - not beta test you changes before you throw away them?

  • need to break an image to fix hot spots

    I have a few pictures like this that are overexposed hot spots in metallic gold.

    I think if I can 'decouple' or break-apart the image into sections easily remove these bad sections and replace them with good sections.

    1 can. What operator I use to separate the image. (if you look carefully, you'll see black borders around the "sections" that should facilitate the software to divide the image) I don't want to do the 'cut' circulating with a mouse - widely would prefer if the software makes using these black borders.

    I do not have Photoshop CC (wish I did) but I have at my disposal, if you can show me which operator to use:

    First Elements

    Capture One

    Lighroom 6

    glare.jpg

    Photoshop would provide an opportunity to a mask of one of the channels and using curves and a minimum of brush (overlay mode) work with local contrast of intensity. After placing the segment or on a separate layer (and locking of the transparent area), it can be corrected without encroaching on the balance of the image.
