  I have a Satellite L20. It had not been used for a while and the battery was completely dead. I plugged the sound off the L20 to my amp via amini taken for stereo connector. When I turned on the laptop started upward, but there was a bad sound interference from the amp. He stayed down for about 30 seconds, and then the laptop turns off completely.   Ugh, that sounds like another machine was ascended to heaven...

  Usually the machine must turn on even when no battey was inserted. So, if your light powerlights don´t after connecting your power adapter that should work (as you said, but I'm skeptical), then your motherboard is faulty.

  I think that it s depending on whether Toshiba provides drivers for Vista or Windows 7 for Satellite L20. These drivers are usually placed on the official page to download driver of Toshiba.
  Satellite L20 PSL2XL seems to be an Asian model, so I checked the Toshiba Asia page, but there are just available Windows XP drivers. The European page also shows only XP drivers :(

  This means that only XP is supported, but you can try to get all the drivers yourself on external pages. Probably, you will find all the drivers you need. Here are some pages where you can perform a search:

  If yes-> go graphics card-> properties Advanced settings-> and select the view tab.
  There you can turn on the TV set.

  You may not use a dock under Satellite L20.
  If you take a glance at the bottom of the device, you will not find a necessary home slot that would be needed to connect the docking station.

  When you open the cover of the HARD drive, you will see there is not a lot of room inside and behind the HARD drive, there is a single cm only. You need this place for HDD disconnect with this adapter so I think there is no way to put the HARD drive inside or out of the place.

  In any case, I'm 100% sure that these updates is not possible.

  Unfortunately, I can't confirm the SSD compatibility but if this old Satellite phone has HDD with IDE interface I sure you can use this SSD for upgrade of m.
