Support for Windows Mobile devices suspended;

I have Vista Home Premium 64;
I deleted the driver and module.
Now windows update trying to re - install module and moves upward with 80703e3 error Code unknown.  The driver fails to load as well
At a loss on how to proceed

Hi Bill,

It would probably be better to first try the driver. Normally should have been a disk what accomponied the phone. However if there is not that you should always be able to find the driver from the manufacturer's website.

    Hello

I created the OPA rules using Oracle engine determination and standalone exe created using .net compact Framework 3.5 work to run rules of the takeover bid on windows mobile (which uses .net framework compact framework 3.5) 0

    I got following error framework

was not able to load be used in a type of assembly System version 2.0.0.0
I build the project for .net 2.0 framework

because the compression of class .net not supported by the Compact framework 3.5, I got above error

then I used comapct framework 2.0 to run rules of takeover bid

I'm getting following error after running exe under Windows mobile, I am getting error

The version of the assembly Version 2.0.0.0 of the system cannot be loaded by this version of MIcrosoft .net compact Framework

S ' please let me know how I can run rules of takeover created by Oracle Determincations Engine on Windows Mobile.
-do I need to create rules of the takeover bid only on the MOBile runtime instead of engine determinations?

    Thank you
    Jean Baptiste Palchuru.

I don't have the exact details on the spot, but I think that the error 'The version of the assembly version 2.0.0.0 of the system cannot be loaded by this version of MIcrosoft .net compact Framework' is due to log4net.dll is considered an assessbly of .NET 2.0 Framework rather than a .NET 2.0 Compact Framework assembly. Try removing the project and redeploying - it is used only if you enable logging.

There is no difference in the modules used for Mobile determinations engine or motor of determinations on the .NET platform.

  • WIndows Mobile Device Center 6.1 on Satellite P100

I have Outlook 2007 with Vista on my P100-160 and need to sync with my Mio PDA. It worked well with ActivSync and XP - Pro, but now I have problems to install WMDC.

The PDA is installed and visible with the Explorer of files and Media Manager, so it's here. I downloaded the x 86 version of WMDC Installer but nothing seems to happen when I run. I can see WMDC on the Control Panel, but it only shows the communication by default user interface when I click it.

Any advice on how to install this application or this is a problem for others too?

  • Windows Mobile Device host process for Windows Services farm...

    Greetings...

I used my iPaq for years with several versions of Windows up to Vista x 64 final, with Windows Mobile Device Center 6.1. But now when I plug it into a USB Port it does not connect. Shortly after plugging in I get the message: "Peocess host for Windows Services stopped working and was closed. If I reboot or try another port, I could see a new driver installation message, but the result is the same.

    I tried:

    1 reset

2 system restore to a time where the iPaq connected

    3. delete the partnership (a new partnership can now be launched because Windows does not connect to the device)

    4. to install the latest Windows Mobile device driver x 64 (6.1 I think)

5 install the latest Windows updates

So, what did you do to my system to stop what was working? Please advise me on how I could fix your Windows error?

    Thank you very much

    Kenneth Spencer

OK chaps... I'm afraid to say that the support system missed me at this opportunity.

However, I am happy to say that I solved the problem after spending several hours on the subject. What have I done? I did a soft reset on the iPaq and hey presto, it connects now.

I was invited to do the soft reset because I noticed that ActiveSync on the iPaq couldn't be started. I tried to verify the boot parameters, but as it would not start, I could not see, and still less set.

So for the MVP: I suggest that next time arises a question about the failure of the connection for an iPaq, or the host process to crash when it is plugged in, you should firsat suggest a soft reset of the iPaq.

    Thank you very much

    Kenneth Spencer

  • Windows Mobile Device Center synchronization problem

I recently developed a problem syncing my phone Windows Mobile 6.1 with Vista 64-bit Home Premium WMDC.  I would appreciate any idea or a reference to help me solve it.  I'll give you only a capsule summary chronological here to keep this short note.

-There are synchronization three weeks was normal.  No change in system done other that what is described below.
-Signed with the local provider (Comcast) for Exchange and Sharepoint hosting services.  They ran an installation script that changed by the Outlook 2007 adding the exchange server profile and who knows what else.
-Phone sync is no longer with the PC; only with their Exchange Server.  They claim that they did nothing to make (their inventory of skills for Windows Mobile does not exist).  WMDC still sees the phone as a guest.
-Spent the weeks then 2 + talk with Comcast level 3 troubleshooting, manufacturer (HTC) phone and cellular service provider (Sprint).  All to various help desk levels.  I spent a lot of time searching for answers on various blogs and other credible sites for answers.
-Journal of phone calls said that the error is 0x8503001f which says that my profiles are out of sync.
-One of these help professionals tells me its something to do with my user.sdf file.  This file is not present on my PC.
-Sent in notice of cancellation to Comcast, which is still in the queue for processing.
-Sprint technical support abandoned and sent me a replacement phone.
-New phone has the same problem.  The problem is clearly with WMDC, file or a registry problem.  Utilities that I find on the internet for the problem works only with 32-bit operating system.
-J' tried to uninstall and reinstall WMDC and the other fixes I found on TechNet and other Windows Mobile sites.  Nothing works.

I'm not a developer, but I'm a power user who is used to run organizations, so I'll have intelligent conversations with these people.  They are perplexed and so I am.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/uninstall-or-change-a-program

    Step 2

Follow the steps below only once you have backed up the registry.

    a. Click Start, in the search box of start, type regedit and press ENTER.

    b. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    c. in the navigation pane, locate the following registry subkey:

    d. in the registry editor, navigate to the following location: HKEYCURRENTUSER > SOFTWARE > MICROSOFT > WINDOWS CE SERVICES > PARTNERS

    e. check the keys referencing your mobile device and right-click on it and remove the keys.

Note: The problem may occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you proceed with caution. For added protection, back up the registry before you edit it. Then you can restore the registry if a problem occurs.

For more information about how to back up and restore the registry, follow the steps in the link below:

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/322756
