  I recently installed the new drivers by AMD (v.13.1) on my laptop HP Pavilion dv6-3060ej (Windows 7 64-bit), which uses the Intel HD Graphics and AMD Radeon HD5650 switchable graphics.

  The fact is that I met a few rendering problems on the latest 12.6 which supported my graphics and allowed soft switching between them. Version 13.1 solved my problems of rendering, but another question - it simply does not recognize my graphics card so that it installs only some of its features and leave the Catalyst Control Center features so I can't pass my graphics cards. I even tried to leave the latest CCC, but it comes with an error message.

  To summarize, my strongest Radeon HD5650 graphics card works well but I cannot switch to the Intel's HD to save the life of the battery.

  Any thoughts? Thanks a lot for your help

  Hello IBINATOR.  I appreciate that you try to upgrade your Radeon (with drivers AMD) graphics while keeping the switchable graphics in a working state.  Is this correct?

  This is workaround only to your question and you must have the game, Steam client, installed.  The HP driver for your graphics card contains a driver for the card from AMD, the Intel card and switchable graphics framework.  You can then use the game client, steam (through a partnership with AMD), to update the part switchable graphics system AMD while keeping graphics intact.

  1. Remove your current AMD drivers using this utility and restart your laptop.
  2. Download the latest version of the drivers from HP.  Here is a link.
  3. Install the driver and reboot again.
  4. Follow the steps in this thread to use steam to update the graphics driver.
  5. Restart one last time and check if the problem is resolved.

  As per the title, I upgraded my Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit of Windows 8 Pro 64 bit, of course according to a lot of discussions here (which I've read through) the AMD Radeon stops working.

  I had it running using some Toshiba drivers which I can't make it work again since I did a new install of Windows 8 last night (I love not upgrades, the plan was to run the upgrade to make sure no problem then do a clean at a later installation) - FAIL!

  With the standard driver for Windows 8 my machine has an AMD Radeon HD 7400 m (Microsoft Corporation WDDM v1.20), but it starts like, or should I say fails to start and display the following error message "Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) ».  If I turn off the device and restart, then it does not show an error and says it's working very well, I'm not sure it's good.

  AMD Radeon 7470 m (PCI\VEN_1002 & DEV_6760 & SUBSYS_185D103C & REV_00)

  and Intel HD Graphics 3000 (PCI VEN_8086 & DEV_0116 & SUBSYS_185D103C & REV_09)

  The Intel HD Graphics 3000 is running driver version 9.17.10.2875 (17/10/2012), which I have updated via the utility Intel drivers update last night.

  I bought a lenovo g500 and after installing every single player on this site, I decided to test some games from my pc to the laptop.

  Unfortunately, I see the games from the pc do worse than what they do on the pc (and the pc is old) so I think that the amd graphics card are not at all. Can someone explain how to enable the amd radeon video card? BIOS does not help and the CCC (catalyst control center doesn't help either).

  For example:

  I could run borderlands 2 in a little weak graphics on the pc perfectly.

  However on my laptop I can not even reach the main menu because of the very low fps.

  Another example is crysis 2, works perfectly on the graphic means on the pc, runs on 2-4 fps on the laptop.

  Edit: windows is 64-bit windows 7.

  The solution was to install windows 8 (bought a copy of the professional edition x 64), and then install the drivers from the site. Now everything works as expected. Must have had a problem with the windows 7 x 64 and x 86 drivers... Well, now it works.

  @shauni: tried with borderlands 2, could get 11-13 fps MAX during the game with graphics maxed out regardless of the diet plan, but as soon as I switched to windows 8, the amd video card started working and I now have 40-50 fps (which for me is UBER OPTIMAL). I always get 11-13 fps if I unplug my laptop well.

  SOLUTION OF THE SHORT VERSION:
  Install windows 8 (x 64 in my case)

  NOTE: the drivers on the site are buggy for windows 7 x 64 / x 86. Date today: 8 October 2013.

  Hi, I'm new to Captivate and I am trying to achieve something that I guess is too complex for the program or my approach because it is false.

  I'm essentially to create an interactive quiz for the front end of a Web site. Until the user sees is a screenshot of the Web site that will contain the rollover slidelets using hot spots for certain areas of the screen capture. Each of these hotspots will link to their own individual question slide. Before creating the project entirely, as I tested it would work.

  This is what I did: -.

  I created two slidelets to tread on a blank slide and then I created two question slides. For the first slidelet that I executed to jump to "Question1Slide" on rolling and I did the same for the second slidelet access "Question2Slide" the reversal.

  For Question1Slide, I executed this success to return to the first slide (the slide with the hotspots) and I did the same thing for Question2Slide.

  When I saw it works very well for the first slidelet but when he returns to the first slide and I select the second slidelet that opens Question2Slide has already been answered to the question and I can't select it.

  No one knows what is the cause? Is this a bug or is it the way I did?

  I am using Captivate 5.5.

  I have no doubt things work differently in Cp7.  The features of Cp5.5 was wrong in my opinion.  It is now resolved in Cp7.  The only way you can allow your user to retry the issue again once after submitting them and go to a different slide is for the quiz all be reset to zero once again.  Who is to use the Retake Quiz button on the Quiz results slide.  There is another solution to workaround that you can use to reset the quiz on any part of the module.  It is to use a standard action with two lines of action inside.  The first line of action meets the quiz results slide, and the second line of action moves to the slide (slide 1 in your example) target. This double jump resets all questions of the quiz back to zero once again and notches upward once more.  You can set this standard action must be performed by the success on or on the last attempt of the quiz question.

• HP Envy 14-2013tx switchable graphics of does not work.

  My laptop is plugged into the wall outlet, I've specified applications to CCC to use 'High Performance', but I'm not convinced the system is switching to the Radeon HD 6630 M GPU. I used dxdiag and GPU Caps Viewer time to test the GPU in operation and it will not display Intel HD Graphics. Also, I can easily say that 3D rendering performance is much lower than what is expected of a graphics chip.

  It's really frustrating, please help.

You will be able to select the fixed Mode, which will allow you to run open GL on AMD

• Y560 switchable graphics do not work

  Hi all

  I have the model of i5 y560 WITH switchable graphics, however, sometimes it does not.

  Basically when I try to switch from graphics using the switch of the money up front, there is no response. I even tried to right click on desktop and try to change it using "configure switchable graphics", but there is still no response.

  This happens very randomly, but usually after I wake up from sleep mode.

  also, when this happens, my games tend to run at unusually low fps.

  can someone tell me why this is happening?

• Dynamic Switchable graphics does not work

  I have a dv6-7014nr, I'm having trouble playing games. The Dynamic Switchable graphics does not work, my client of the game runs only on my Intel HD4000 GPU. I tried to disable the integrated Intel and just use the GT650M from NVIDIA, but I couldn't find the option in the BIOS. I don't know what to do, I can't play Tera Online with 8 FPS.

  It seems that this is a problem with the profile of Tera and affect many of the manufacturer and not just HP.  This is not a BIOS problem so much as it is the profile that the program from Nvidia's Tera.

  See page 4/5 of this thread on the Tera forums for a solution that seems to work for others who have the same problem you are having.

  Hello. I have hp hp pavilion dv6-6b70ee(product Number: A6P39EA#ABV) with Radeon (TM) HD 7690 m XT (driver version: 8.882.2.3000) and chain of the family card, Inte (R) HD Graphics: Intel HD graphics 3000 (Driver version: 8.882.2.3000) as described in the "Device Manager".

  When I open the control center catalyst switchable graphics it doest show applications even though I pressed 'Browse', you simply click on the program and does not show anything and apply buttons lights up and can be pressed.

  It's my first time here Sorry if something is missing or unclear.

  I use HP 1000-1414TX model... it has a dedicated AMD RADEON HD GPU 7450... and its integrated graphics is HD4000 by intel! .. .i have installed all the graphics driver on the official HP site... but when you run a game always show that it runs on HD4000... Although I put my laptop on the power of high performance setting and add the game file in the mood High Performance graphic Panel switchable by AMD... but its not working... all matches runs on HD4000...   Hi Farhat. Once installed the AMD drivers can remove the ability to configure switchable graphics. Essentially, what you must do to restore its functionality, is to use the Recovery Manager HP to the rear original drivers and then upgrade to the latest HP drivers available.   FYI, the option to change from dynamic to fixed option is available on laptops with Switchable Dynamic graphics. Your computer laptop dv6-6026TX has fixed Switchable graphics, and that is why you are not able to find this option in the BIOS.

  My T61P with NVIDIA graphics died on me on Friday. I was 'under the gun' and tried to recover quickly and decided to replace it with another series of T. I scored a 'Fixer' T500 (2422 7VU; 09/09 xxxxx) off the coast of craigslist. He acknowledged my T61p Windows 8.1 Pro system disk and booted up immediately. After downloaded and installed all the drivers I could find, it is not clear to me if I "switchable graphics" or not. I have a mini dock and a configuration double monitor. My main screen of Lenovo is 1280 x 800 and the single display showing driver is "Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family (WDDM 1.1)" my secondary display a Samsung SyncMaster EX2220 turn in 1920 x 1080. It is connected to the DVI port on the mini dock. I installed the ATI Catalyst Control Center and "Switchable Graphics calculators", but I don't see an ATI display adapter in Device Manager. If I click with the right button on the desktop and select "Catalyst Control Center", two processes started. 'ccc.exe"(Catalyst Control Center?) and"MOM.exe"(monitor?). I also noticed that after that these two processes are started, my installed memory falls from 8 GB to 7.91 GB. I have installed the Thinkvantage Power Monitor but when I select 'High performance' in Control Panel Power Options "Apply" is "grayed out" if I try to start one of the programs in the Catalyst Control Program Files folder, that nothing happens? Do I not have an installed ATI chipset or not? If so, how can I make this work?

  I have not cracked open except to install the memory, although I'll probably do so soon. The CPU fan has a really annoying rattle. That will certainly tell me more, but maybe someone knows the answer. Compared to my T61p with NVIDIA 570 M this system feels a bit slow and jerky video.

  2422 7VU isn't a real model. Do you mean 2242? If so, 2242-7vu integrated graphics only

• Product number: XW898AV: sp54471 - does not meet the minimum requirements (trying to recover the switchable graphics)

  I accidentally lost my switchable graphic trying to update using drivers directly from AMD.  I have no more restore HP Manager.  I tried to download HP sp54471.exe, but every time I try to install it, it says that I do not meet the minimum requirements.  I tried to use the Help Assistant tool as well, but it also gives the same error.  When you try to use only the tool to search for updates, it does not include anything for the graphics.
