  I 5.6 LR on my desktop and have just updated to LR Mobile 1.2.0 on my iPad (iOS 8 update).  I am now unable to change one of the photos that have been previously synchronized before the updates being installed.  The photos are there, but the adjustment strips are grayed out.  New update of collections synchronized post work OK.  I have reset the sync settings from LR as my iMac system library files, but it makes no difference.  Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

  I have a very simple question:

  I can watch DVD files or .avi with my computer and VLC, that allows to adjust the volume to 100%. Some DVDs have a very low sound. So if I set VLC to 200% volume and the system volume to 100%, I can watch movies in good sound conditions. Then, my computer speakers are strong enough for me watching a movie.

  However, I have a problem with VSD: I use VOD with Windows media player and that player does not allow me to adjust the sound to more than 100%. So I put the sound of Windows media player at 100%, the sound of Windows to 100%, but the sound is very low.

  Please don't tell me to buy speakers, mine are pretty strong, and I find it uncomfortable to plug the speakers.

  Please don't tell me to use a software that increase the volume of the file I want to watch VOD.

  AFAIK all sound level settings in Windows are synchronized and if you change the sound level in the properties of the speaker at the same level will appear in the Windows for the Volume Mobility Center and the maximum level is 100%. No more than that.

  As you already wrote the sound level can be increased in combination with Windows and some players.

  Is there any other way to watch these videos, but using WMP?

  Try the settings/iCloud and remove the synchronization. Wait a few minutes and then resynchronize.

• Synchronized not regenerated multifunction AO AI

  I am trying to build a VI that reads and writes a signal simultaneosly to use as a test of the device. I want the signal to be non regenerative and I want to read 80kS/s with at least 4096 samples.

  I built my VI begin with the standard model of producer-consumer and the example AO AI multifunction located under "hardware input output/DAQmx/synchronized/multifunction" but with minor modifications to make it non-regenerative. This however does not work because there seems to be a discrepancy between the two signals after the first few iterations. Initially the signals overlap, but then I get a period. For example if the sample rate and of the samplesize 1000 superimposed signal for a short period when yields but then a delay of environ.25 seconds appears. There are also various errors of buffer all indicating that the buffer has been closed or crushed before that samples could be read. If there is someone who would know how to solve this problem, I would be extremely grateful.

  I'd appreciate also all tips on how to be able to update the sampling frequency and size in real time.

  Hi Felix,.

  Welcome to the forums EITHER!  The part of the synchronization of your code seems pretty good assuming tasks of HAVE and AO are running on the same device - you are triggering one task out of the other, so they should start at the same time (if they are the same device, the time will be the same for each clock so you shouldn't get any drift over time).  Another way to synchroinze the two tasks (because they're going at the same rate) would be to simply share the sample between tasks clock.

  A few problems I see with the code:

  I think that problems of buffer problems come from the fact that the tasks of HAVE and AO are in the same thread.  DAQmx Write is a blocking call, so in your code it prevents DAQmx called Read until enough space became available in the buffer output to write the desired number of samples (1000 in your case).  In the meantime, looks like the analog input buffer is completely filled.  You could try to increase the size of the buffer, but you can also consider the two tasks running in parallel loops.

  In addition, samples of reading (-1) will return some data are in the input buffer.  It would probably be a different number of the number of samples that you write by loop iteration, so the data may appear sync when it is read.

  With respect to the number of samples to read and write by loop update, it is editable running so everything you need to do is put the control inside the loop (you can put a local variable outside of the loop to the initial settings).

  The PCI clocks rate, I / ao sample is not modifiable at run time, but what you can do is to use a meter to generate a sample for both tasks clock (just use the internal output as the sample for each task clock).  This example shows how you can change the rate of a performance counter on the fly.

  Put it all together, here's what I'll try:

  I would put both DAQmx tasks in parallel loops. Instead of sharing a trigger of departure between the two tasks, use one of the counters to generate a variable frequency sampling clock to use.  The tasks of HAVE and AO must begin before the meter.

  You should also probably use the number of samples to read the DAQmx Read entry so that each iteration of the loop will be matched with the data written in the previous iteration of loop AO.  If you are not careful when implementing the variable number of samples to reading parameter, you could end up with a race condition where single loop updates to read samples and the other is not updated until the next iteration.  Usually Of functional Global Variables are used in situations like this, but another idea might be to adjust the size of the buffer AO so that we can ensure that the loop AO will always run before the loop to HAVE it.  You can place the control inside the loop of the AO and the local variable inside the loop to HAVE it.

  I'm trying to control two devices (Agilent 33250 A and card DAQ DT9812) synchronizedly using LabVIEW.
  I need excite a transducer using an arbitrary waveform generated by 33250 A burst mode with its frequency swept KHz x to Y KHz with a given increment. Breakup of period and number of cycles should also be adjustable.
  I am trying to send orders for the generator of signals via port GPIB using LabVIEW VIs.I have the necessary drivers. (Config Burst Modulation.VI under "ag33xxx.llb" and Agilent 33XXX series generate Arbitrary Waveform.vi under "examples" in the attached file) but I don't know how to combine these two.
  I contacted the instrument without any problem and I can take any form of arbitrary wave I want. I can also put the generator in burst mode, but I have to be able to do in a single VI.
  After that, I also need to synchronize the process such as the each time that the frequency of the waveform changes, data is acquired by the computer. I have the LV-LINK to control data acquisition card. I'd appreciate any help that gets at least started me off.

  I'm under 10.2.0.1.0 Oracle instance.
  got an error like:
  
  ORA-01652: unable to extend segment temp of 128 in tablespace TEMP.
  
  resolution, I've tried:
  I added 2 database files each of 2 GB in TEMP tablespace.
  
  then I re-run same query got the same error message.
  
  On OEM, the TEMP tablespace and data files that it contains are not synchronized.
  
  When I added a few .dbf in tablespace TEMP it has not yet calculated space and space occupaid.
  
  Is anyway I can make TEMP tablespace and .dbf in tablespace TEMP in sync... ?

  You should have added tempfiles and not the datafiles, right?

  Why didn't you not adjust existing files to autoextend on? And you can try adding space via Enterprise Manager itself.

  When you get the new iPod, you can use iTunes on your computer to select and synchronize the music you want on it, in the same way that you synchronize your current iPod - your iTunes will recognize them as different devices and will remember your choice of synchronization for each, it will not (unless, for example, you restore the backup of your current on her iPod) put the same content on both.

  I understand that the input of your Mac's built-in microphone volume seems to be fluctuating when you save. In this case, if you use Mac OS X Yosemite or earlier, you may want to turn off noise reduction in system preferences > Sound > entry.

  The fastest way I can think of would be to go to the Albums, go to all the Photos tab, highlight the photo you want to delete and press 'Select' in the upper right corner. Place your finger on the first complete line, you want to remove (if you have pictures that do not have a complete row that you want to remove these institutions, select them individually first), slide your finger on the line so that they are all selected, and then slide up so that it starts automatically at your old photos of scrolling. Once the photos you want to delete are selected, press the trash in the lower right. This will move them to your album "Recently deleted", then they will be always on your phone for 30 days, unless you remove them. If you are sure that you have already backed up these photos and does not accidentally still photos you want, feel free to remove them.
