Satellite L750 - sound cut at least that Plug and unplug the headphones

I don't know what is wrong with my speakers, but sick while watching something and the sound is just cut, unless I have plug in headphones and then disconnect.

I found another thread on similar topic:
https://Forum.Toshiba.EU/showthread.php?80419

Someone said that this could be related to Microsoft update, which could affect the Conexant audio driver... not sure it, but make sure the Windows 7 system is up-to-date.

Perhaps you could also get an update for Conexant audio driver...

  • Temporary black screen when I Plug and unplug the charger

The model is a hp pavilion dm4-2015dx. This problem started when HP Support Assistant suggested that update my Intel HD Graphics driver and I did. He was about to finish, the screen went all black, but the computer running. I thought that this was part of the process and has been waiting for an hour. The screen was still black so I forced to close. Now when I plug in the charger, the screen goes black for a few seconds, the same happens when I unplug it. My computer history also said he didn't have the graphics update. Can someone give me a link to the appropriate graphic drive? What is the problem?

    Hi Jon,

    http://goo.GL/FOzxD

This link will take you to all the downloads for your laptop (assuming you have Windows 7 64-bit). Try to download and install the driver manually.

And regarding the reason to the failure of the Support Assistant-, maybe it's because it's an older version. http://goo.GL/6Z7UH This build was released on September 9, 2012.

Please let me know if that takes care of your problem.

  • Satellite L750-1NF - I want to remove ODD and put the new SSD

    Hello everyone.

    I'm new here!

I have this laptop and I want to improve it with SSD.
I want to remove the optical drive and buy a mount for SSD. But I don't know with mount I can buy.

I see [this | http://www.amazon.com/Silverstone-Tek-2-5-Inch-Conversion-TS08/dp/B00AFP89F8] but I'm not if it fits.

    Can anyone help please?

    Thank you very much.

This isn t possible upgrade for all laptops available on the market.
I know some laptops Toshiba supported Bay select option in the past.

This was the case for certain series Portege and Tecra but my knowledge, don t support Satellite notebooks these updates.
Of course, I could be wrong but I think the BIOS won't recognize the device.

If you want to use a SSD drive, you will need to replace the internal HARD drive.

  • Satellite P205D-S7802 - DVD player shows that D: and the CD shows that C

I have a Satellite P205D-S7802. DVD drive shows as D: and CD shows C: must be D?
Neither works but the DVD was the last to do so.

If they both be D: How can I change?
My system is Vista 32 bit.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Hi mate

In my computer, you should see the HARD and CD /DVD. disc drive
Usually the HARD drive or the partition of the HARD drive is listed as C and the CD/DVD drive must be registered as D or other letter.

Depends on the partition created on the HARD drive because each partition is assigned to a certain letter.

However, the letters are editable in the Windows operating system disk management.
    Make a right-click on desktop-> manage-> disk management
Here, you can change the letters.

    Regarding the CD/DVD drive:
I recommend the withdrawal of the CD/DVD drive in Device Manager list.
Simple delete it and restart the device.
After restarting again, then OS should recognize the STRANGE new

  • Satellite P300-1GL battery falls to 85% when you unplug the charger

    Hello

I had a Satellite P300-1GL for about a week and I let it charge and discharge several times. When Vista tells me that the battery is fully charged (100%) and the battery light changes from orange to white on the laptop, I unplug the charger. Then, my battery level falls almost immediately from 100% to 85%. If I plug the charger in the laptop, he noted again the battery 100%.

Can someone help me out here?

    Thank you very much.

    Select this option.

    Hello

As mhoffmann suggested discharge the battery fully until the laptop shuts itself. Then reconnect the AC/DC adapter and charge the battery fully. If you now disconnect the AC/DC adapter is again - reductions of up to 85% battery level?

If so, I think that the battery must be exchanged. Contact the registered maintainer the closest that you can find on the Toshiba site and ask for a new battery. Technicians will try to help you:

    Hello

I think you mean the acoustic silencer
As I remember, such tool was available for some laptops with pre-installed Win XP or Vista.
For example; the acoustic silencer was available for some of the Satellite A200 and you could download this on the European driver Toshiba page.

To be honest, there s nothing unusual that the CD/DVD drive runs very fast for a few moments, this happens in my portable two different.
The STRANGE turns very quickly for a few seconds after the CD has been inserted.
This happens because as the research of windows OS for the content placed on the disc

  • Satellite L450-188 - how to disable ACPI.sys and update the BIOS?

Hi, hoping someone can help me with a slight problem, I'll have

    I recently bought a Satellite L450-188 (number PSLY0E-03K019EN) running under Windows 7 64-bit

I use the laptop with a DJ program called Rane Serato Scratch Live, I got latency usb problems, getting usb dropouts when I try to use the program on the smallest audio buffer position (which I expect to be able to do)

When I contacted support at Serato team with my problem, they suggested that I run a program to check the time DPC on my laptop, when I presented the report to them, they said ACPI.sys was the origin of the problem and suggested that interest me to turn it off, but I wasn't too comfortable with that.

The other suggestion was to try to find updates the bios for my laptop, but I'm not too set up with that sort of thing, and I'm worried I might damage the laptop maybe installing the wrong thing.

Can someone give me advice on this topic, because I don't know what to do

    Thank you
    Jim

    Hi jimbob_1,

Normally the ACPI means Advanced Configuration and Power Interface and control options for energy savings.
So if something is wrong with the ACPI.sys file I recommend reinstall Windows using Toshiba recovery disc.
By the way: are you running pre-installed Windows version or another?

As Akuma writes that you can download the BIOS update from Toshiba Web site. http://EU.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/ > support & downloads > download drivers

Your laptop belongs to the series of PSLY0E, so you can download latest BIOS.

Before you begin the BIOS update, close all running programs and extract all the files from zip archive. You start the update as an administrator and connect the AC adapter. Also, make sure that the battery is fully charged.

  • is there an alternative photo management system that works (and NOT the pictures)

Y at - it another app that works better than the pictures, that we can use to manage the photos, because they took iPhoto and replaced it with pictures?  Is there a way just to import photos and save them to your computer in folders, as you would on a Windows system? And then maybe just use Picasso or something?

You can still use iPhoto if you are eligible:

Re: Iphoto's gone? I want to go back!

Go to the App Store and check out the shopping list. If iPhoto is there then it will be v9.6.1

If it's there, then drag your existing iPhoto application (not the library, just the app) in the trash

Install the application on the App Store.

IPhoto is sometimes not visible on the shopping list. It may be hidden. See this article for more details on how to view it.

    http://support.Apple.com/kb/HT4928

A question often asked: Will I lose my Photos if I reinstall?

iPhoto, the application and the iPhoto library are two different parts of the iPhoto program. So, reinstall the application should not affect the library. BUT you should always have a back up before doing this kind of work. Always.

  • Creative Cloud Lightroom import records show that year and not the name of the file that I created

When I import files from an SD card to Lightroom, I import to an external drive as my file.  Indicates the name of the folder to the year (2015) and not the name of the file that I created (Fort Worth, 12152015).  This has happened with every import that I've done so far.  How can I fix it?

The copy option is used to copy the files from your camera card. The Add option is used when the files are already on your hard drive. They must be copied, just added to the Lightroom Catalog. You can simply add the files that are located on a map of the camera. They must be copied to the hard drive first.
