  Hi all - I tried to figure this thing out of these last hours... and I'm about to smash my phone against the wall (of course, I've gotten nowhere with it).

  Here's the problem: about 2 days ago I noticed that my phone is no longer maintaining missing calls in the call log (the last "missed calls" are dated 3/22). Instead, what happens is that I'm going to take notice of the number of calls on my home screen, but then when I go on my call log, I see that calls that were actually sent or received and not those missed. Not long after that notice, the following message appeared: Eception Exception: java.lang.NullPointerException. Also, until this happened, I used to get a pop up after each missed call that would tell me that I missed a call and give me the possibility to display or dismiss the alert. Is no longer comes after he missed a call, so I think it's the functionality of java which was damaged.

  So I tried to pull the battery and all that jazz, but nothing has changed. At one point, pulling the battery caused the phone to give me some other errors of java and back to put on the original page of the home screen, but after removing the battery once more, everything is returned to my original problem. Only happened once. Today I finally decided to search online for a quick fix and I was thinking about something. I tried pulling the battery and remove the sim/memory card, then tried to re-sync, then try clearing the addressbook of device and re-sync, tried to backup everything, then checked more OS updates (mine is already the most recent)... and now I'm stuck. The only thing I have not actually tried is wiping and nine with a reload of the OS. I would really like to avoid this

  Also, for some reason after that the software update RIM has checked my phone for its version of the OS, my ringtone settings reset itself. Not sure if this is related to the java problem or just a chance to complication/bad?

  Does anyone have an idea what could have happened to my phone? It is literally out of nowhere, so you can imagine my frustration...

  Yes, you will need to remove the current operating system, and reload later.

  Make sure you have the latest version of the software for your device and your carrier installed on the computer.

It's extremely annoying to sit and wait to do another action (gradients, paint the choice) or to deselect everything simply. Even if I had an action to work after that I made a selection, Photoshop will behave very slowly and the mouse will slowly slide on the screen as if it is a major task. Occasionally, Photoshop will just stopped without my work after being saved.

  I did also buy and download some games of custom brush, I don't know if this has anything to do with it.

  • Please go to the tab advanced settings for the graphics processor and change the mode of basic design.
  • Also under history and Cache, please increase the size of the title to 1024 K Cache

  Hey this is izzynice3. you helped me with the ringing of the 650 unlocked. I had to open another account because it wouldn't let me in. you really seem to know what you're doing.  I have a few questions if you don't mind.  My treo was flashed to metro if the browser is called blazer. Internet works fine except when I try to play a video from like you tube or tmz.  He always says that this type of link is not supported (0 x 1511)... Is there anything I can do to fix this. Also, the minitone thing worked fine. I tried to use the online manual to assign different ringtones to different contacts. He showed that there is a ringtone to the contact edit traction, but I don't have that. ???

• Server behaviors Dreamweaver went on the fritz!

  I just finished two books on dynamic sites and worked on makeover a site today when I decided I was going to use DB on a particular page. I inserted forms, textfields, etc, then when I clicked on the + in the server behaviors, and then "recordset" this alert appeared:

  So I opened Recordset.htm in Dreamweaver and it autoclosed a tag link the has not been closed which connects "... /.. '. "/ fields.css".
  
  Now, when I click on the button of Recordset, I get:

  The only thing I did (I know is significant) trying to redefine my localhost root folder, modify the paths in the file php.ini and apache.config. But I got confused and put back. PHP & MySQL are always works well. I can work with and test my PHP pages with & without Db feature. But I can't do anything with the server behaviors or the table of any application by the way.
  
  Help please! I WAS so excited to try and apply what I've learned, but now I'm chasing my tail, trying to figure out what in the heck happened!

  OK, so I feel bad b/c this entry all is me, but fortunately we will help someone else. I don't know what CAUSED the problem & I can come back on it & perhaps to understand the cause. But, if the above symptoms sound like what is happening in your DW, check this out:

  I learned something new about DW it's good to know. Even if you don't have this problem, or do not want to read the stuff on the link you need to know that DW stores commonly used Javascript in a cache file. If you get a file corrupted in the cache, it is unknown for some time (I replaced the bad .js files and restarted DW & then my computer, but DW always said that he did not know what was the function of applyServerBehavior - even if I was looking right at it in the file.). You must manually remove it in order to force DW to recreate the cache file.

• The airPort Extreme (2007) and Time Machine

  I read the info "how to ask a good question" and apparently you need details. I'll try and be concise but informative with my problem. It has been a long journey to get to where I am, but hopefully, with a little help from this amazing community, I can get to my destination.

  Task

  To produce a backup solution Time Machine for the family spending as little money as possible and using the BRIC and broc, I already have.

  Equipment available

  I have a House with some ethernet cables for most rooms that through switches to allow a variety of, most entertainment devices to communicate. It is:

  1 x NAS/Media (ReadyNAS Duo v2) server,

  2 x TV (Samsung),

  2 x TEU (Beyonwiz),

  2 x Apple TV (a 2 nd generation the other is the latest version)

  2 x DVD players,

  1 x iMac.

  2 x 8-port switches,

  1 x 16 switch ports,

  1 x AirPort Extreme (2007).

  1 x Airport Express (age unknown but older than the extreme)

  1 x Fritz! Box 7490 Modem/Router

  Courses in place

  All the associated TV stuff are connected in 2 rooms through ethernet via switch 2 x 8 ports switch 16 central port and then to the Fritz! modem/router box.

  There are also all the usual WiFi going on with mobile phones, iPads and laptops.

  Remarkably, it seems just to work!

  However, I want to add some backup data on our computers. I tried to do by using the ReadyNAS as it is supposed to support Time Machine, but I can't it to appear as a backup destination. So, I thought, as I have AirPort Extreme, I add it to the network and attach a USB HDD for Time Machine since it is supposed to be easy. However, I've been home for hours and cannot make the HARD disk appear in system preferences/Time Machine.

  I plugged the Airport Extreme in one of the switches 8 port said to create a wireless network with the same details as the Fritz! The box according to another article of the support (Airport Extreme wired AND expand network - need of entry). Airport utility shows me Wi-wired connections and seems to work.

  I look at the AirPort Extreme disks tab and can see the attached USB drive here. However, it does not appear as a choice of drives available for backup in Time Machine preferences. I tried 2 different discs with the same result.

  The Question (finally)

  How can I get Time Machine preferences to show the USB disk attached to AirPort Extreme as a valid choice for backups? If anyone can give me a little help in the right direction, I would be very grateful.

  Unfortunately, the key here is that the version of AirPort Extreme you have does not officially support Time Machine backups on a drive to the USB port of the device.

  The only version of the AirPort Extreme, which will officially support Time Machine backups on a drive in the USB port on the airport is the 802.11ac current version that looks like a "tower". Older versions of 'flat and square' of the AirPort Extreme don't support Time machine with a USB drive attached.

  OS X Time Machine supports compatible USB drives encrypted, related to the time Capsule (802.11n and 802.11ac) AirPort and AirPort Extreme (802.11ac).

  Given that the average life of most wireless routers lasts about 5 years, and your AirPort Extreme seems to be about 9, your AirPort Extreme did very well for you... much better than the average. It might be time to start thinking about a replacement who will be responsible for backups Time Machine... either a time Capsule (i.e. an AirPort Extreme with a built-in hard drive) or another AirPort Extreme.

  That preference refers to links that are coded to launch in a new window: start them in a new tab instead of a new window.

  Unfortunately, there is no adjustment for the links that are coded to launch in the same tab to start them in a new tab instead of in the same tab. You would need an add-on for that.

  Normally, I would you recommend checking out Tab Mix Plus as the 'Swiss Army knife' tab features, but lately, it has a small bug so it has not been last updated in recent days, could you hold off on using it.

  I had a w2207 yesterday. It is a large screen, but he made some things funny with my ps3.

  Unplug the monitor and hold button power for 30 to 60 seconds.  Plug the monitor back in and give it a go.  The monitor works with a PC?

  Your TV is probably back the set video scale better than the monitor.

  I not quite sure about this feature, but in my experience, you can check this using the freeware 3.3 HDDScan utility m.

  Start the tool called: 'HDDScan' then choose your HARD drive. Aftethat click on the middle button "new task".
  Build command line. Then, Advanced Power Management-> click on disable.
  Low click Save, name and save the batch file as you want.
  Then run as administrator (Win7/8) treatment, or double click in XP.

  I just upgraded my router, Fritz! Box 7490, & I need to re-set my network help please.

  Before the upgrade, I had a very old router Aolynk. This was connected to my TC, the last giving us WiFi for our House, but also my parents House, via an Ethernet cable connecting the TC at the airport Exremem BS. Beside that, I use the TC to occasionally save the iMac & the RMBR & the old router sent our CCTV to phones via an Ethernet cable. The new router is now the primary device & our hub WiFi (Wireless AC active). I read an article that I thought would help, but I had no success.

  I need assistance with the above, and some tips on how to host 6 other our audio/video system Ethernet cables (two rooms, each show 3 cables, one for the Smart TV, APR or other devices requiring an update and media coils).

  1. to put WiFi on my parents. After reading the article, I followed the instructions, linking the TC with my iMac, turn off the "WiFi" on the TC & activation of Bridge mode.   However if you are having problems... now go out and buy a 8 ports gigabit switch... It is extremely cheap point now and better than being frustrated by the lack of ports. I run a complex system... but everything is connected via a 16 port gigabit switch. So I never need to mess with the majority of the cables... it does not move even if Exchange you routers and AP autour.
