  My Macbook Pro, (2.4 GHz Intel Core i5 with 4 GB 1333 MHZ DDR3) recently started to freeze with a command or a simple task that I try to do. I've updated to the latest version of OS X El 10.11.5 captain who was available for me in the last week or so, but the problem started before that would go far so I thought that maybe if I've updated what the problem was. There is, of course, no. I tried to clean my computer for more disk space (I currently have 50 GB) but it's really frustrating when it freezes every second I'm removing something or download something.

  At startup, it takes time for it usually loads. I'll connect and 3 out of 4 times, it freezes when I type my password then unfreezes when it connects. It takes forever to load. I already checked the system preferences for startup and connection applications. There are not.

  I open safari (or any other application) and it will take awhile, freeze, show me the beachball cursor and then open minutes later. I go and type on safari, it freezes again. I can't do it through any simple task without it freezing constantly. I DO NOT download anything off the internet, nor do I even all bookmarks or whatever it be backed up on Safari. I even tried to reset those already with a recommendation of a Web site. Safari is not the only application that freezes like this or the other. My Photos App will similarly, freezes my finder and it will take 10-15 minutes to open a folder with a single point inside. Each. Unique. Request.

  Also, I got a notification saying "adobe script can not finish running and can slow down your computer" or something similar to this, you still want to run or quit smoking. I have leave of course and then check to see that the adobe script was running. He was not one, or anywhere to even stop it.

  I don't know if my battery has nothing to do with it either. My Macbook currently drains the battery in less than an hour if is not plugged.

  I looked to the top of the console with a recommendation out of a Web site, for example, I don't know what I'm looking for, either. I try to scroll (even if it freezes when I do) to see if there are errors, I know the hand but honestly, I don't know. I also tried the repair utility disk, however, who failed because whenever I try to do so that it freezes and is in fact frozen where it not same process and try to break free.

  I looked at the RAM, but also don't know what I'm looking for here either.

  OH, finally I tried running Safe Boot, but it's just too slow.

  Unfortunately I can't take it into an apple store since I live about 8 hours away we and hoped someone could help me to solve the problems. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I am available for questions as well.

• Lightroom 6 no CC no scroll bar and constantly gel

  I use Lightroom 6 CC and had nothing but trouble since the upgrade.  It's always bugged and now the frequency stops and freezes.  A common problem is the scroll bars go missing.  If they have not disappeared, they do not work.  I can only scroll with the trackball on my mouse.  By clicking and dragging the scroll bar down do nothing.  Another problem is that it freezes constantly.  I was not able to work successfully on photos in a month because of this.  Are these known bugs? Anyone know how I can downgrade to the previous version, or when the next version comes out? I am VERY disappointed with this version! I also absolutely the new dialogue import and need the back of an old man.

  I barely had the F60 for about probably a month and a bit 2 months max and I experienced a few problems freezing with Notepad.

  I'm not under what anyone seriously at the same time just Flash Get, MSN, AVG, Chrome and some random as the laptop Toshiba programs comes with everything using the key USB 3 g broadband, but he will decide to freeze 30 minutes to an hour into the session.

  The strange thing I noticed is that the HARD drive light will stop blinking but the screen is frozen on the windows desktop. The volume button still works and makes the beep sounds, but she gets no quieter or louder I got continuously.

  This will be a problem of software compatibility or there at - it something of physically wrong with my laptop? It will be easier to take just this back to Toshiba?

  I guess it can be linked to the touchpad is hardware problem.  But before you send it for service, please download the latest driver for the touch pad at the bottom of the link and see if the problem can be solved.

  I recently got a new computer and that you have installed Firefox, my flash player is up-to-date, as is the shock wave. Whenever I watch a video or load a page that has an automatic video game, my Firefox freezes, to the point, I need Ctrl, Alt, delete to complete the process. I have disabled hardware acceleration, I built a new database, I cleared my cookies and history, tested in safe mode all my addons, but nothing works. My other system is set up is exactly the same way and that one works perfectly... Why is this happening?

  I have a brand new 6 iPhone more and Siri cannot set timers or alarms! I have 'reset network settings' and it worked fine until I reconnected it to my wifi at home and then it stopped working again. To be clear, she can still give me time and make calculations, but she cannot set timers, alarms or the applications to launch, or God knows what else! It will not work even if I then drop the wifi network and switch back to LTE... So what am I, I expected to see, reset the network settings and then never use my router brand Apple once again?... In addition, it's actually the second 6 s more that I received, as the first I had to return and Exchange because the volume knob didn't work and something to another hardware or software-related was wrong, because the apps acted upward and games were CONSTANTLY gel... But that's another story... My problem is with this new phone that works very well outside Siri not currently able to set timers or set alarms or applications launch or God knows what else... Anyone got any quick suggestions or advice? Help, please!

  Soft reset on my phone (which is held the "home" button and the button sleep/wake until it stops and the apple logo appears) and now it works again. I hope this helps someone else who is having this very annoying problem! Before, I had tried "reset network settings" but which did not help at all. The soft reset hope it lasts...

  I have a DELL PC, which runs on Vista. Recently, I listen to it on and it ran very slowly with respect to transactions simple, such that watching a video on youtube and he kept constantly gel. Then I got an error message in the toolbar of windows on disk errors and had to reboot the PC, which then gave options to fix errors in the Service Center (I think his name who) or start windows normally. Do not repair errors and now every time I start the PC I get a blank screen after the initial start of vista and not basically starts up. I tried to restore the computer to its factory settings, but because there are no restore points I can't restore it.
  I wanted to know if anyone knows a solution to my problem? Should I just get a new hard drve to the PC?

  You need to buy a new hard drive and reinstall vista and see if that works, or contact Dell or their Support Forums and get advice from them...

• Bookmarks freezes constantly all sorting manually in Firefox 19 and following

  There is a bug in bookmarks. I use Firefox 19, one a Mac and firefox 20 on the other. Whenever I arrange my bookmarks in the relevant files by using the "bookmark manager" (that is, sort them manually), each bookmark a few minutes Manager freezes and does not respond. This clear gel through things like - being not able to scroll upwards or downwards, not being is not able to move files in a particular folder and so on. Its frustrating... as I constantly have to wait until what it thaws. It happens every time! Have tried disabling add-ons that might have had problems, but it did not help...

  I ordered this laptop about 4 weeks ago and don't have fact/installed yet. Only different Poker-software, - cat and a ton of music from my old notebook software. That's all that I use it.
  But since the first day, this portable crushes regularly, at first I thought that it freezes only when I am very busy, using a lot of RAM or try opening a program or some such but now, I realized that those freezes are completely independent of anything and they just come and go.
  How will the freeze: it freezes completely, monitor, mouse, sound (the last ~ 5ms of current music / whatever she either are repeated constantly, like a buzzing noise vey)
  I have to stop it by pressing the power button for a long time. When I restart it sometimes displays the message: operating system not found. When I restart it again later, it still works.

  Anyone any idea? I could send it back and get a new one, couldn't I?

  To be honest I don't understand what you want. As far as I know, Qosmio X 500 has a HDMI port and it works in the audio/video OUTPUT port. This means that you can connect your laptop, LCD TV and have perfect pic and sound quality of your TV.

  If you want to play Playstation Games on laptop screen that I don't know how you want to send the signal in Notepad using this OUTPUT port.

  My Satellite L670-12J new running Windows 7 64 bit freezes constantly, usually a few minutes after the start of almost every time I turn it on. It becomes inadmissible: I can't change the application, view the Task Manager or activate the start menu. The mouse cursor moves, but displays the wait icon and I can't click anywhere. The hard drive light flashes on a regular basis, a quick flash once a second about.

  It does not appear to be linked to a specific program that I am running. I can get when the computer is idle or when I run a random application.

  The only way to recover from it turn the computer off (press and hold power for a few seconds). Once it restarts, it works without problem until the next time I turn it on.

  As I bought this week yet, should I go back to the dealer and ask for another or is there something I can do to fix this?

  In General, before returning the laptop, you must reinstall Windows using Toshiba recovery disc. The disc can restore factory settings and if it s just a software problem, it will be fixed after reinstalling Windows.

• Recovering files of the T60 with a broken winXP installation

  Hello everyone, I'm saving the files from one especially deceased ThinkPad T60 Window XP. The T60 has a fingerprint reader, and I was crazy enough to put files in a secure volume.

  When I start Windows, it gets as far as the start screen and crashes then it with bike constantly the progress bar. I created a set of rescue & Recovery CD (actually two games, a serious on CD and a serious DVD) when I initially bought the laptop, but they do not contain the files I want to retrieve (that were created at a later date). When I try to run R & R starting at a set of disks, R & R software will open to the main screen, but in a few seconds (or at most a minute, but in no way I am able to actually use the diagnostic/recovery tools effectively) the system freezes up tight and will not even for CTRL-ALT-DELETE.

  I also tried to remove the SATA HDD and put it in an external USB box. The disc is recognized when it is connected to another computer, but I can't access the files because they are locked inside this secure volume.

  Finally, I also tried to start with a standard XP installation CD to see if running a chkdsk /r (after you select the repair option on the first screen) would help and get past the XP splash screen. Unfortunately, after loading all the drivers, etc., the recovery console Windows XP says it can't find all the disks to repair. I guess that's because there is no such thing as the secure volume for what is an OEM XP disk is.

  I guess I could try something with a Linux LiveCD or something, but because the files I want are locked inside a secure volume I don't know who's going to make me still to come.

  I have the administrative password WinXP wrote down, so if there is there a tool that will allow me to open my files using this password, I'm in good shape.

  Any ideas? I really want to recover these files. I don't like about installing XP itself, and in fact I intend to format the HARD drive and install OpenSuse as soon as I brought back my files.

  I managed to recover my files.

  I booted into Windows and press F8 to bring up the Safe Mode option (I thought I had already tried this before, but I guess I've forgotten). I had hoped once in Mode safe, I'd be able to pull the files off the SecureDrive.vol (mapped to drive R :), but I guess there are some drivers or services that don't load in Mode safe so that windows does not even see the a: drive at all.)

  But I was able to run a chkdsk/r, which took place during the next reboot. It took two tries to it (chkdsk froze the machine on the first run through), but chkdsk found and fixed a lot of errors and I was able to connect to Windows XP. I pulled all my files on a USB key, and literally within 30 seconds the system frozen solid again.

  Running the diagnostics of a Lenovo PC Doctor bootable CD, I discovered this fujitsu 100 GB drive is riddled with errors. So I might try some kind of low-level format to try to clean it up before installing a new copy of OpenSuse 11.2. Any recommendations for rehabilitation and repair in shape this drive?
