Hello, could someone please help me.

My laptop is not even 6 months old - and the touchpad is freezing randomly (the rest of the system seems to work very well, it's just the touchpad)

It gets really frustrating that I rely on the computer all day for work. Sometimes I have to restart for it re - works and then freeze again!

Any help appreciated, thanks

Hi Sarahads,

I guess it can be linked to the touchpad is hardware problem.  But before you send it for service, please download the latest driver for the touch pad at the bottom of the link and see if the problem can be solved.

Wireless Microsoft notebook optical mouse does not work with g42 - 410 us laptop

    Hi Mary,

Did you install all the necessary drivers, firmware and/or software Intellisoft of the mouse and then restart?

You have good batteries in the mouse?

Verify that the mouse is compatible with working computer and your operating system?

Have you checked the mouse icon in the control panel (after all of the above) to a setting to activate?

Contact the vendor of your computer and see if you need to update something else.  When I installed my wireless mouse, it wouldn't work until I updated the touchpad, the firmware drivers and.

    Good luck!

  • Tecra S1 - Accupoint / mouse Touchpad has become crazy

    Hello

I bought my Tecra S1 second hand about 2 years ago and it was working fine until I realized missed me the video card driver, once installed the cursor on the screen went weird, he kept by adhering to one side of the screen for a long time, I uninstalled the driver but nothing works She continued to do until I completely lost control of the mouse whenever I opened my laptop.

Recently, I decided to reinstall Windows XP Home edition to see if it was a software problem (of any kind) but still the problem of cursor. I don't know how an installation simple driver on my laptop has created such a hassle. I I am convinced that it is not a hardware problem since any device of mouse I use (mouse, touchpad, accupoint) the nuisance persists.

If anyone has any suggestions / solutions please let me know.

    Thank you

    Hello

I have older Tecra M1 and I had this problem. AccuPointer was defective and after Exchange of keyboard, everything was OK again.
Only thing you can do is to use an external mouse and disable the double pointing device in the properties of the mouse or by using the FN + F9 key combination. I did the same thing.

Of course, the touchpad driver must be installed.

  • Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000

I have a Wireless Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000,
    the original USB transceiver broken.

I had a co-worker who has mouse was broken.

My mouse will pair with this "new" USB transceiver

I understand that the mice and the Transceiver are matched at the factory.

Is it possible for me to use this new transmitter/receiver?

(PS the General functions of mouse work correctly when it is used with a Belkin Bluetooth Transceiver, but certain features are not,
so I would use the MS USB Transceiver)

BTW - used with a portable Windows XP

    Hello ETuckUte32,

Thank you for using the Microsoft answers Forum.

Yes, the devices are paired at the factory and generally cannot be used with another transmitter/receiver even if it comes from the same group of models or the manufacturer. I would say that it is not possible for you to use a transmitter/receiver from another device and operate it properly or maybe even not at all.

If you can get some features with a totally different Bluetooth device, then it is perhaps the best, you'll be able to get the device. Find functions and features are reduced when you use the device with a transceiver that isn't made to go with this particular material.

Hope this helps to answer your question.

  • Mouse / touchpad operation does not

original title: Mouse / touchpad problems

When you use my mouse or my touchpad on HP laptop any attempt to right click sends the application of windows Explorer mode "not responding".  I find more frequently when highlighting a photo or a file and want to do a right click to copy or cut the option but must close the application to try new unsucessfully.  Have updated the driver with no improvement.  It is uncertain whether I have hardware or software issue.

    Suggestion only:

Run a file system check. See if damaged screenshots and files and repair them if possible.

Start button > Search box type cmd > look up, do a RIGHT click oncmd.exe > click onRun As Administrator > in this window cmd black and white, type at the prompt flashingsfc/scannow > press the ENTER key.
Note: there is a space between 'sfc' and ' / '.
To sit and wait. It will take time.
When finished, exit the cmd window.
    Reboot (restart your computer)

check the Mouse / touchpad thereafter.

  • MS Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 300 - no longer works

I have a laptop with Vista as my current program.  I have a Microsoft Notebook Optical Mouse 3000 since the first day Wirless.  The mouse was working very well!  I use computer a day and the wireless mouse no longer works.  Green light on the USB key is on, red light on the mouse is on.  I'm in the peripherals - mouse and it shows active.  I even remove the USB and it shows then it isn't here.  Here's my question - why the mouse will not talk to the USB port and works now?  I even went out and bought a different MS Mouse and it didn't work either.  All known manufacturing, programming, software between MS and Vista mouse problems?

Perhaps Windows does not recognize the mouse as real human interface device. If you go into Device Manager, highlight unfamiliar material, choose Update driver and then manually point it on either

    C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\mouclass.sys
    C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\mouhid.sys

... did allow the mouse to install?
