Tables open in different tabs

I am very new on sqldeveloper and I can't figure out how to get a second table to open in a different tab. He wants to always open in the same tab as the first table I opened.

Note the red gel pin in mini-bar of Tools tab to switch to reuse the same tab.

  • chm opens to search tab, no table of contents

    Hi all.

My .chm files will open the search displayed tab, not the table of contents. How can I fix it?

    Thank you!

    -Nancy

    Hello again

    You said:

This means that it is a new brand. chm. But it is overwriting the previous one. chm. Perhaps, he returned to the previous state.

Indeed. There is a hidden file on your system that the HTML Help Viewer uses to track this information. So it won't matter how many times you generate CHM, he will remember this setting. One way is to rename the CHM file. In terms of viewer help, it of a new CHM and open then simply with the opening of the table of contents.

    You also said:

I'll just make sure that the table of contents appears before I send the .chm, then.

And it certainly won't do anything to hurt it. But he lost the effort. It is because this hidden file, that I mentioned earlier is different for each user. And even if you make sure that the table of contents is open when you close your CHM on your computer, if an end user is simply replace a CHM with a newer version, it behaves for them the same as it behaves for you. Which means, if they had full CHM to a different tab in the table of contents is the tab they will get.

    See you soon... Rick

Version 5.0 on a MAC doesn't let me switch between tabs. Can I open a new tab, but when I try to go in a different tab, it shows me just the content of the tab opened most recently. Help!

In addition, pop up blocker works for a while and then stops working. I have to close and restart Firefox to make it work again. Help!

I had the same problem, but with Firefox 4.0. My first thought was last updated to Firefox (after of course restarting FF), but it did not help and I had the same problem.

Among others, I had an extension installed and enabled called tile tabs 4.10 I thought could easily create this problem. I went in my Add-ons Manager and disabled, restarted Firefox and tabs worked properly again. Unfortunately, the extension of the tile tabs is my favorite Firefox Add-on and I use it almost every day to manage my web tasks. I went to the page Add on for tile tabs and saw that there was a notice that version 4.10 did not work properly on Mac OS and install version 4.9 of the extension. I saw that they had a new is not-yet-seen version 4.11 who has tackled the problem of Mac OS, installed, and everything seems to work properly.

I have no idea why all of a sudden I had this problem as I don't had not updated Firefox or the extension of the tile tabs recently. Also, obviously this could not solve your problem, especially if you have the module installed and active. But our problem started at the same time for both of us it seems based on your post time, so its probably not a coincidence.

But its worth a quick glance and you can check other extensions if you don't have the legs of tile that might be the cause of the problem.

  • I want to open two different pdf documents and view them at the same time so I can read about everything by watching the other document.  I use Acrobat DC and whenever I open a document it creates a tab and I can only examine a document at a time.

I want to open two different pdf documents and view them at the same time so I can read a whole watching the other document.  I use Acrobat DC and whenever I open a document, it creates a tab and I can only examine a document at a time. Is it possible to display two or more documents without having to toggle tabs?

Don't think that will work, but you can drag the tab to a new window. Each window can have a set of tabs.

  • When there are several tabs open, why the search always take place on the 2nd tab (first tab seems never to change the homepage) despite my selection of a different tab where to do a search on google?

I have Mozilla Firefox 10.0. When I open it, it opens properly on the homepage in the first tab. Once I have another, or several, tabs opened, any tab is active, your google searches, I immediately takes place at the No. 2. Do not count how many times I go to the tab for example 4 to search (because I would compare with the page Web open in a tab 2), but it does still today the Search tab 2. It's very irritating. It must be a setting that went pear-shaped, but where / who? Any suggestions? Thank you.

Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.

A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.

(If you use it, switch to the default theme).

    • You can open the mode without failure of Firefox 4.0 + by pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

If it's good in Firefox Safe mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

  • Where is the gear when I open a new tab in Firefox 42?

I try to have faces of color illustrated when I open a new tab in Firefox 42. The instructions say click on the gear wheel at the top right of the page to the new tab in order to activate the function of tiles. It is not a gear when I open a new tab.

What page is the new tab override set the new tab page?

If you want to use the subject: newtab page with the tiles and the gear, you don't need this extension.
The extension new tab replace is only necessary if you want a different home page, and such a page does not include this gear.

See this article on the page tab (topic: newtab):

  • How to prevent a specific page to view the suggested sites and top when you open a new tab?

I like the feature of FF that displays top and suggested sites when opening a new tab. I use my laptop for work, for recreation. But as I share the office with co-workers, I don't want to have all the sites that I visit that are listed. No matter how many times I remove a specific site from the results, it keeps popping up.

I'm sure that the addition of an option to prevent some sites never show it, would benefit a lot of users of FF, who share the same problem. I don't know that I'm one of many with the same problem.

You can change the order of the boxes on the subject: newtab page and drag an item on a tile that is different to pin in this position or you can remove a Web site by clicking on the close X to block this URL.
You can drag a bookmark item or the history of the sidebar and drop it into a tile on the subject: newtab page pin this point and have your own favorite sites.

Changes manually on the subject: newtab page are stored in the preferences you can find on the about: config page.

    • Browser.newtabpage.pinned stores the Web site you pinned to a tile.
    • Browser.newtabpage.blocked stores the Web site that you've deleted by clicking on the X button in a tile.

If you do not keep the changes after a reboot or have problems with preferences, see:

  • How you automatically open a new tab rather than overwriting it open

I have a tab open. Now, I opened another site and it substitutes instead of getting my first site opened a second tab. I want to a new tab open whenever I go to a different site.

    Hello

You can open links in new tabs with the middle button (unless they are javascript). In all cases, you can use an add-on to force all new loading of the page to open in a new window.

  • Cannot open a new tab in version 29

Today, firefox closes and then apparently 'fixed' itself by updating without asking me because it looks completely different now that before it crashed. My biggest problem is that now that it's on version 29 I can't open a new tab. There is nothing in the menu to do, I can't use ctrl + T to open an and by clicking on the little + tab beside existing tabs does nothing. I can switch between the existing tabs and close the existing tabs, but that's all! The only way I have to get any type of additional tab is to open a bookmark or click on a link, but I can not start a new one from scratch. Someone has an idea of what could be the problem?

Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Firefox Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode that disables some settings and disables most Add-ons (extensions and themes).

(If you are using an additional theme, place you in default theme.)

If Firefox is open, you can restart in Mode without failure of Firefox in the Help menu by clicking on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item:

If Firefox is not running, you can start Firefox in Mode safe mode as follows:

    • On Windows: Hold down the SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
    • On Mac: Hold the option key during the startup of Firefox.
    • On Linux: Exit Firefox, go to your Terminal and run firefox-safe-mode
(you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)

Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "

If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. Please follow the section Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems to find the cause.

To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.

  • In Firefox 29 Center by clicking at the top of a tab in a zoomed window will open a closed tab previously instead of close the tab you clicked on

In Firefox 29 Center by clicking at the top of a tab in a zoomed window will open a closed tab previously instead of close the tab that you clicked.

Is this expected behavior? And if so is it possible to turn it off?

    Thank you

Middle-clicking on a tab the farm, any means - by clicking on an empty area of the tab bar opens a new tab.

A different behavior is probably caused by an add-on like Tab Mix Plus tab-based. If you are unsure if you have a such add-on, restart Firefox with disabled modules and check if the problem persists.

  • Open a new tab in fact opens a new window

I updated Firefox to 29 a few hours ago, and it causes a lot of problems. I've just restored to ffx 28, but it does not solve everything. One thing that's happened, it's that when I open a new tab at the top that looks like a second tab, but when you look down the toolbar, you see that there are actually two Windows Open ffx. If you hover over the icon ffx (I'm running Windows 7), two windows pop up. This happened six hours ago. He came with ffx 29, but do not go far with demotion to 28. It's really annoying. I'd rather have tabs grouped within windows. For the most part, I have a window open with all my tabs in it, but other times I want to have several tabs in each of the different windows several, because this organization works for me. How can I get rid of this?

You can check the following parameter:

the button Firefox orange (or the Tools menu) > Options > tabs

Is the last box: "show glimpses of tab in the Windows task bar.

I am sure that you must uncheck that and it should solve your problem.

    Success?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).

    • Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.
