Taskbar disappeared, cannot access office

Original title: I want that the taskbar always on top

It used to be on top and then suddenly changed. I can't access desktop or the taskbar, because the bar is hidden

Hi Emmanay,

Thanks for asking this question to Microsoft Community.

I will certainly help you to get the task bar on top. Please answer a few questions before proceeding.

Since when are you facing the issue? Do you have any security program installed on the computer? Have you done all the software and the hardware on the computer changes?

Try these suggestions which have a possible solution to the problem

Disable the option Auto-hide taskbar

If the problem persists, you can start the computer in a clean boot State, and check if all third-party software can be the cause of the problem.

Note: when you are finished troubleshooting, follow step 7, mentioned in the article to start the computer to a normal startup.

Hope this information is helpful and let us know if you need more assistance. We will be happy to help you.

  • Cannot access office after installation because of the strange activation error

My girlfriend had a lot of problems with his computer. More recently, she has been plagued with viruses and spyware that even after he was supposed to be "retired", he was always there.

So I decided to simply format the computer and start again. But like many people that she is not sure where is the original installation disc. Not much, I thought. I borrowed a copy from the retail Windows Home edition from a friend, and I am using the CD key that is located on the sticker on his turn (it is a Dell Dimension E521).
The installation went very well, and the key was initially accepted without any problem. Once I have come to the point where it is supposed to load the desktop, I get the message "this copy of Windows must be activated with Microsoft before you can log in. You want to activate Windows now? ». I say Yes and tried to activate it via the internet, but it could not detect the network card (no driver installed).
No problem, I called Microsoft (automated line), but when she asked for the installation ID, I realized where it was supposed to be, he had made a dash ' - '.
After searching the Internet I came across this http://ask-leo.com/why_cant_i_activate_windows_xp.html. This guy has exactly the same problem, a problem that Microsoft could not solve for him. But he managed to solve it by starting in safe mode, install the network driver and restart normally and activate Windows. He was also using a Dell.
So I followed these instructions, installed the drivers of network smoothly and restarted go back to windows. Unlike his example, it do not start back on the desktop. Instead, I received the same message that I had to activate windows first.
I tried to activate over the internet, and I received a message saying that the activation was successful. When I clicked ok, I'm back to the same message. I decided this time to activate by phone. Low and behold, the installation ID was there this time, yay!
I called the automated line and crossed the robot woman enter the installation ID, she said in the end it has been verified, and I clicked ok. I came back to the same message that Windows must be activated, but this time, when I tried to do, I get the message "Windows is already activated. Press OK to exit.
As you can probably guess, I'm here because after clicking on ok, it affirms once more that windows must be enabled. So I am stuck in a loop. Can someone help me with this? Thank you.

    Try the following:

    2. go to start > run and type: %systemroot%\system32 then press the Enter key.

    3. locate these two files: wpa.dbl and wpa.bak

    4. rename the wpa.dbl in wpa.bak to wpaold.bak and wpaold.dbl

5 restart your computer in Normal Mode. This will force activation at the next startup. If these files get damaged, they can sometimes this type of problem.

  • Satellite Pro L500: Cannot access Microsoft Office - need serial key

Cannot access Microsoft Office on my laptop, the series Satellite Pro L500, need a product key of 25 letter/symbol.
Not with the paperwork, instruction manual, or on laptop background.
Found a key to the letter or symbol 25 on bottom of laptop, but Microsoft Word/Publisher/excel etc will not accept?

    Hi mate

AFAIK the preinstalled Office is a trial version!
You cannot use the serial key you found at the bottom of the unit because the key to this series is a serial OEM key and it belongs to the version preinstalled Windows.

So if you want to enable the office, then you will need to purchase the full license!

  • a computer laptop, internet is accessible only if proxyserver offline, my office internet is accessible with the proxy server. without him we cannot access the internet.

I am faced with a kind of strange and unusual error. in my office, the internet is accessible with the proxy server. without him we cannot access the internet. However, there is a laptop computer on which some time the internet is accessible only when I leave the proxyserver only on that machine... any idea?

    Hello

    Work on a domain environment?

Changing the proxy settings is something that you usually only have to do if you connect to the Internet via a corporate network. By default, Internet Explorer automatically detects proxy settings. However, you may need to manually set a proxy with information supplied by your network administrator.

But if I try to edit the file in Notepad, I get this error:
