TC web https access

Hello!

When I access the Web interface of our TCS (S5.3, new HD version) and I'm not logged in I'm redirected to https (free joined certificate)

In general this is great, but access to streaming and the content of the application does not work.

the bug toolkit did not seem to know the content server and the bugs search engine reports some bugs...

access to reading same uri, replacing https with http works very well.

Tried with OSX Safari & Firefox (latest version) + silverlight 4 & 5.

Is there something to solve this problem (as the official cert, another browser, os, plugin, player,...) or is this a bug?

Hi Martin

It's already a bug open about it:

CSCtt01659

Symptom: When using https with a TCS, you cannot view streams for flash or Silverlight Conditions: TCS running S5 and later Workaround: Use http

  • Cannot access the Web http sites

Since yesterday, I have not been able to access any site that begins with http://, only Web sites that begin with https://. I do not download anything anything beforehand, it was working fine in the morning, but I came home in the afternoon and it did not work. No one else has used the computer. I can't go to these Web sites on firefox, safari or google chrome. I tried to unplug my router, clear the cache, history and cookies from my browser, resetting the computer, update the computer and the browser, use OpenDNS, but nothing works. I installed HTTPS Everywhere, that allows me to go on a site that wouldn't work before, but most of the websites that I use usually will not work.

I'm lost for what to do, so any help would be appreciated.

 / System Preferences / network / advanced / proxies / then deselect "proxy web http.

  • ACS5.3: stopped working https access

For some reason I can't get more access to the web interface of our ACS 5.3 apparatus.

Where I used to get a certificate warning first, and after that the ACS5 login screen, I now get totally unanswered more in my IE browser.

However, I can telnet to port 443 of the unit.  And I (luckily) always ssh access the unit.  So I did a reload (sorry, microsoft patterns), but that will not solve anything.

HTTPS access to other systems of the same browser works very well

Have you tried another browser? In case it works well with firefox or google chrome follow it please the below listed as follows:

There could be a possibility that you have downloaded and applied some update Windows on your machine and that could have changed the level of encryption of minRSAPubKeyBitLength REG_DWORD 512 to higher values.

The command listed below will set the registry to 512

Go to the PC from which you access ACS > start > run > cmd > run the below listed order

In research on the problem to Microsoft. com, the following message is received: Mozilla is not configured to accept connections on port "The World Wide Web (HTTP) service."

Hmm... PowerPoint must use Windows to connect to the internet and not Firefox.

    What method do you use?

The main problem is that you are using IE 11, who has problems of compatibility with many Web sites. Normally, you are prompted to continue with a security warning.

I recommend you to uninstall IE 11. Instructions are available in the post below:

  • How to set up the ASDM/HTTP access for Cisco ASA firewall

    Hi all

I am looking for a solution / guide that will allow our ASA 5510, V8.4 (5) Firewall, ASDM version 6.4 (9) to help users Active Directory. I want to activate our administrators to access the ASA via ASDM using their AD accounts (a local administrator account also exist but not a password of General knowledge)

Anyone would be abe to advise on a guide / Solution.

    Thank you very much

If that you issue correctly you want active tpo AD authention for AMPS/HTTP access to the ASA. If it is correct that you have need of the following using the CLI to enable that command

ASA-32-22 (config) # aaa authentication http console?

    set up the mode commands/options:

LOCAL server predefined Protocol AAA 'local' tag

Name WORD of RADIUS or GANYMEDE + aaa-server for the administrative group

    authentication

After the console you needd to defind the name of the AD server you have configured on the SAA.

You can do the same thing by using ASDM:

Change LOCAL to the announcement that there are listed.

I hope that answers your question.

  • playback does not work in OpenScript for Assistant web/http loadtesting

    Hi the gems...

I am facing another problem with OATS 12.1.0.1 during playback of recorded for load testing scripts. But this time I do not know if the cure will come from our application or from the OATS.

In our application for loadtesting, I recorded a few simple steps.
    My sailing in OpenScript:
New > Load Testing (Protocol Automation) > Web/HTTP > default repository > open an empty script > began recording > window was open > hit the url of our application > connected with a name of user and password > disconnected.

Scripts has saved successfully. Now when I started reading, then he got failed with the error:
+ Could not solve the web.input.Submit variable with the path .//input[@name='submit']/@value+

In our application, each sessionid is captured and may be because of this reading and a recorded script script made two different SessionID for the connection.
Because when I made the comparison between the recorded script and reading, then I got the threshold that does not between these two:
    + < form method = "POST" id = "formLogin" name = "formLogin" action = "/ wm/j_spring_security_check;" JSESSIONID = C9D732999E78008EC5CB3B77A6B703A4"onsubmit ="return validateForm (this)"> +.

JSESSIONID value does not match between the recorded script and the script reading.

But when I did the test of functional / regression of the same, then it worked perfectly without any failure.

Please give your point of view. Thanks in advance.

This Web page should have some javascript that creates the value for the parameter "j_password".

    . Param ("j_password", "70300886ea87fade932332926317f269598827246763436004b79e4f16c60813"),

Look in the html for j_password page and find the code defined in the javascript code. Then using the same algorithm add of the java code to do the same thing in your script. It is possible that it is not javascript, for example, it could be a java applet or something else outside, although it is not likely. Your in-house developers created this app? If so ask them to give you the snippet of java code or algorithm to allow you to set a password in clear text for a "j_password".

  • Trying to access web https

Hello: I'm on 4.1.1. I created referece web service WSDL to http and it worked fine (http://www.webservicex.net/CurrencyConvertor.asmx?wsdl). Now, I'm trying to connect to wsdl using https (https://stage.e-verify.uscis.gov/WebService/EmployerWebServiceV23.asmx?wsdl). I went in owm (oracle Wallet Manager) to create a portfolio. The instance of the apex, I pointed out to this portfolio. I just finished the wizard to create a report and the form to a web service, but it does not work.

I hit the test connection, but does not. I used to get an error ACL/portfolio before the implementation of the portfolio and pointing to it. After you set up the portfolio I get more than the error, but no answer no more. I then did the certificate of trust in import in owm to pull into a PKCS #7 file, that I caught on the https site. But I still have no answer. I may try to import BASE64 certificate, but do not expect help.

One thing I notice, is that the user name and password entered when you test the web service reference does not appear in the application. I expect to get a response, even if the username and password are wrong, but I do not have, and they are not yet in the query I see.

Are there examples to set up an https connection using wsdl with apex and wallet?

    Thank you, Hawk

It was probably just the version of soap that was causing the problem then.

Just to let you know, I don't think that you need to import additional certificates for https://stage.e-verify.uscis.gov/ I've tried to the effect that the URL directly from Developer SQL using a freshly created portfolio and it worked fine. This is probably the only sites that use chained certificates where you might have to go to all the problems of import certificates.

    Hello

You can publish your application in the Windows Home server to improve the assistance:
  • internal web server access to the content of the network using the public ip address

Hi, I saw similar topics, but not a clear answer about it. I have a PIX 515e with two interfaces, a web server internal (ip 192.168.0.5) and internal users want to access the server by its (99.99.99.9) ie public ip address is not using DNS. Tried the command alias ' alias (inside) 99.99.99.9 192.168.0.5 "but does not work for http. I can access the server on the local network using the public address for smtp, pop3 and ftp with or without command alias, but not the http service. Any idea?

    a few quick comments.

a function of the command "alias" is to force the pix to manipulate the dns response. However, you mentioned that you didn't use dns.

'alias' command will also force the pix to send traffic to 192.168.0.5 when it receives a packet from the inside and intended to be 99.99.99.9. However, since the host and the server are located in the same segment, i.e. pix must re - route the packet to the inside interface, and this operation is not supported with pix v6.x.

In addition, you mentioned the inside host can access the smtp, pop3 and ftp using 99.99.99.9. This is interesting because the host of 192.168.0.0 would not directly have access to the host of 99.99.99.x without router.
