• Tecra S11 - WiFi does not work

  I have a problem with our new laptops Toshiba Tecra S11 - 11 G PTSE3E WiFi card.

  I have preinstalled a notebook with Win7 Pro x 64, all drivers for toshiba and laptop preconditioned / tools intel.
  Then I have the laptop syspreped, took a picture of her and out of the image on the other laptop Tecra S11.

  Now, I have the same problem on all laptops: the WiFi adapter (Intel Centrino Advanced - N 6200 AGN) is the last driver installed, but it cannot access wireless networks (he can find same).

  I reinstalled the driver several times with no improvement. Update the driver with windows update did not too.

  -TOSHIBA HDD Protection
  -TOSHIBA Mobile broadband device
  -TOSHIBA Value Added Package
  -TOSHIBA Wireless Manager

  In the Device Manager are no remaining unknown device. In information system under "Components" > "Problem Devices" are no devices listed.

  I have no ideas left how solve the problem...

  What security software you have installed?

  Maybe the software blocking Wifi connections.

  You can run the Toshiba recovery to rule out a software problem.

• ESXi 4 on Asus P6T SE with Intel Pro/100 S - adapter not supported?

  I saw some of these threads, but none have quite answer my question. I set up an office whitebox with plans to use it for virtualization with VMWare ESXi 4. The Office currently has a motherboard Asus P6T SE and the following specifications:

  • Intel LGA1366 platform

  • Intel® X 58 / ICH10R chipset

  • Intel I-920

  • 6 GB Kingston memory

  • Intel Pro/100 S network map.

  Installation seems to be going along great, but the trainwrecks right then the detection of network card saying "not supported network adapter. I read on the HCL\HCG for VMWare ESXi4 and I found that the onboard Realtek NIC is not supported. I bought a Linksys NIC, who did not, and then as a last attempt got a card Intel Pro/100 S, thinking that this stripped NIC would pass, but unfortunately none have worked. I have of course buying an Intel Pro/1000 card, but I think that if the Pro/100 will not work, a Pro/1000 won't work either.

  I tried to change the PCI to IDE to AHCI and activation settings and disabling the NETWORK interface integrated without success. I don't know what else to try, and I rather wouldn't VMWare Server because it seems like a waste of resources to put Windows on this thing.

  I ran before ESXi on Dell servers and I an ESX cluster at work that I built on two HP DL280 G6s, but I don't want the noise of a complete server in my house.

  Anyone got past this problem yet?

  Check carefully this message to get a network card compatible esxi 4.

  In esxi installation stage, you need a compatible network card that is present on the host computer. Is a good idea to disable all NICs not supported, then just left active management (s).

• Satellite P100-216: V20 EDR Bluetooth adapter not supported?

  I recently bought a P100-216 laptop and I am trying to load it on a CD for my Toshiba Bluetooth V20 EDR adapter so that I can use my Toshiba Wireless Optical Mouse.

  When to insert the CD and select install, I get a promt return "NOT taken into CHARGE OS VERSION.

  Any ideas please. I called the TOSHIBA SUPPORT, but they have not been very helpful, they said to contact the manufacturer, I did.
  All parts are genunie Toshiba Toshiba.

  And what operating system is preinstalled on your device? Is this software for Windows XP Home edition only or also for VISTA?

• New installation of Windows 7 wifi adapter not

  I have fresh installed Windows 7 to Windows 8.

  My pc is a dm4-2102eo and was born with Windows 7, so I tried windows 8 for a long time and now I finally decided to go back to Windows 7, because Windows 8 is not me. I asked in the official disc of windows 7 and installed it.

  But when it's done I didn't have no driver at all, so I downloaded all the drivers in the support page for my pc, but I still haven't any of WI - FI adapter and my ethernet port works.  What can I do to fix this?

  I just bought a HP Pavilion laptop 2 weeks ago and I noticed that it takes about 5 minutes to connect to the internet. It says I'm connected but the initial loading of a Web page takes awhile for some reason any.

• BDX4350KB Wifi adapter and firmware upgrade doesn't work do not

  After buying the adapter I plugged it and a message 'not supported', if I tried to connect wireless it says there was no an adapter connected.

  So I assumed that this necessary upgrade, so I formatted a 1 Gb USB drive with the FAT file system, downloaded the file level (version 39 http://www.dl.toshiba.com/player/NA/GB/EN/BDX4350KB.html) and copied the file .bin on the USB.

  When I plugged into the player and said to check the disk for a file to update it tells me that "frontend file is not found"... There was only one file to download, and it wasn't in a folder so I guess I'm supposed to just copy that file on the USB drive.

  I checked the USB port with a memory stick with photos on and it works fine.

  How to get the upgrade to work in the hope that it will enable the wifi adapter to work?

  I have the Satellite M70-122 with an Intel PRO set wireless adapter 2200BG Driver version 9.0.2.25. ConfigFree radar screen correctly identifies the wifi router of my Motorola, but when I click on and get the router on the icon of the laptop, no connection is established and there is a message that says:
  "Sell another application is controlling the wireless card."

  I disabled the "use Windows to configure my wireless" box under settings to connect wireless but no luck.

  On WEP:
  PC card encryption is hardware specific. Maybe if it of not possible to use WEP encryption, because the card doesn t that supports.

• Is WiFi adapter supports WPA - PSK on Equium A100-147 encryption?

  I decided to buy a satellite A100-147, but I would like confirmation that the WiFi adapter supports WPA - PSK encryption. I can't find confirmation anywhere. My guess is that he does, it's a recent machine, but I would be sure.

  I m not 100% sure what wireless network adapter has been installed on this unit but I think it might be to use an Intel Wireless 3945ABG card.

  The Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG card supports WPA, WPA2, WPA - PSK encryption. I found this info on the Intel site. You should also check it.

  But as I said above, I m not 100% sure about the Wlan card. To my knowledge, several series of laptops come with different hardware configuration. This means that different wireless network cards can be used in notebook.

  I have reviewed the linked thread and it seems that the Microsoft experts provide assistance.  For after all this mentioned in the other thread, I perform a recovery and upgrade of Windows 8 again.  How the system has been upgraded to Windows 8 (on-site upgrade or a clean install)?  It would be an option of your time, but the problem seems to have returned and it not be resolved by the same steps it is already resolved.

  Microsoft experts are asking for minidump files and not to necessarily show.  Ubuntu is Linux-based and minidumps of Windows is not supported natively.  A special program is needed to view them.  I am sure that the experts have a program that can display them as long as they have access to the minidumps.

  In Ubuntu, you would access the material where the Windows folder is located.  In the Windows folder, there is a minidump folder.  By default, this is where the minidumps.  Access these files and then download or share them with the experts in the Councils of Microsoft.  Once they have access to them, they will be able to analyze them to provide responses more details.

  I use HP Pavilion Dv4 3106tx. I don't know what happened, but out of no where my wifi sort adapter stopped working. whenever I have activate my wifi button, bluetooth doesn't work and does not display the icon of wifi which usually shows at the bottom right of the taskbar. I also checked Device Manager > network adapters, the wifi card is not there. I also tried "Search the hardware changes", but still there is not Wifi adapter appears.

  Right now I'm just connect via ethernet for internet connection because my wifi does not work.

  I want HP 4-1204TX with Windows 8 operating system and I always had the same problem with the connection using my wifi adapter. When I opened the Device Manager to search for the status of the wifi card, it says my "ralink RT3290 802.11bgn"... ". I looked in your question on your HP ENVY 4-1204tx Ultrabook and issues with WiFi adapter is not working properly. Error codes in the Device Manager in Windows 8.1 could be fixed by removing any additional drivers. So I want to uninstall everything that is listed in the network drivers in Device Manager, reboot the laptop. Here is a list of the options in the Device Manager, it might help.

  Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant, if you need it. Simply download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that requires an upgrade or reinstall.

  Due to hard drive problem, I've done a re install of windows 7 using product key on the back of the laptop and successfully activated with phone Microsoft support.

  For the installation of the driver, I cannot install the RALINK wifi adapter and wifi does not work for this reason and exclamation yellow appears on the network controller in the Device Manager.

  Coulld please provide card you wifi network is appropriate to install to my laptop.

  BTW, os is Windows 7 Home Premium.
