  This error message is that you need to reinstall the driver for the network card. You can get this driver on Toshiba page:

  Here are a couple of things to try. Here I am assuming you are using a wireless router?

  Open system preferences > network

  The name of your network appears in "network name"?

  Click on the button "Advanced...". »

  In the WiFi list, make sure that your preferred network is at the top of the list.

  Click on the TCP/IP tab and click on 'Renew DHCP lease'

  Now you have Internet?

  Try turning off WiFi, either in the same pane of network, or by clicking on the WiFi icon in the menu bar. Then wait a minute and put it back on.

  If you hold down "Option" key and click the wireless in the Menu bar, you can click on the 'open Wireless Diagnostics... '. "There is also info even before making it on the signal strength, etc... WD can give you help and additional information.

  Let us know if it works and if not, please give any info you can. Are you using WiFI? Are you using a cable/DSL Service? What model of iMac?

  From 2 updates (KB972270 and KB955759) internet wouldn't work once these updates have been installed.  I removed the updates and turned off the automatic update feature.  Periodically, I would try again but the same result.  I'm now 16 updates to download and I tried last night, but once again not Internet... even after manually loading all, but updates 2 above.  I want to keep my computer up to date but can't seem to solve the problem of the internet.  Is there a problem with the Microsoft updates?  How can I fix the problem, so I can update my computer?

  NB: If an update of root certificates is listed under the category of optional software updates on the left side of the scan results window, install it to enjoy greater security of IE8.

  I just create a new account and set up parental controls for it. Before I did the internet worked, but after you have configured parental controls, internet would not just work for my desktop which has a direct line.  I have a router and even after, the wifi signal and internet would always work however my line connection direct wouldn t.  I continued doing to solve the problem and start system restore, but every time I tried to set up the account with the internet parental control just doesn't work.

  It seems that the Win 7 drivers are not released for Tecra S4.

  I have a HP Pavilion HPE h8-1212 on windows 7 (64-bit) and I changed my graphics card for an AMD Radeon HD 7790 so like my case.

  after reboot and installation of my graphic card drivers, I noticed that I have yet 2 "Bluetooth devices" (bluetooth device) and I don't have a Wifi connection. I am currently connected to my internet via an Ethernet cable.

  The wifi card, if it's a minimap, as it is in the image, should have had two sons goes to the card wifi which were channelled through the case.  These were responsible for picking up the wifi signals to work.  Since the screenshot shows the weak or no signal, I suspect this is the question.

  

  As to describe the process of removing antennas, I couldn't find the following steps.

  Before you start: Remove the access panel, the collar, the higher optical drive and the upper bezel.

  1. Detach the antennas wireless the wireless LAN card.
  
  
  2. Cut the cable tie fixing connectors antenna for the front i/o cable harness.
  
  
  3. Pull the antenna cables without wire through the access hole in the upper part of the unit.
  
  
  4. Pick up each cable hooks fixing the top of the page of the PC.
  
  
  5. Detach the screws for each antenna.
  
  
  6. Pull the antennas of the unit off.

  In the end, it seems that the antennas are routed right under the top cover.

• Internet host stops working after the launch of Workstation 7.1

  I recently downloaded the installation program VMWorkstation 7.1 (about 570 MB) on the VMWare site.  I tried to install on a Windows XP host that currently has VMWorkstation V6.x and he complained the old version.  I tried to uninstall the old version, but which failed to remove the product from the hard disk and the registry, but it was removed from the ARP.

  The VMWorkstation 7.1 installer still does not have due to the old version being present.

  So, I manually rename the registry key of VMWare and installation folder.  This allowed the 7.1 version to install, but now I see a strange behavior.  When I start a Windows 7 Profession VM, the VM guest starts very well, but the host system loses the internet.  Even after having turned it off VM Workstation, the host system can no longer access the internet.  But it can still access files on our local network servers.  I need to reboot the host system to regain access to the internet.

  Any ideas on what could cause this problem?  Would be additional steps must be taken to completely clean out the older version from the host system?
