  The Firefox Page Zoom feature makes a domain level by area to save favorite settings level users zoom, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox, as with some other browsers.

  If I (put) understand, what you see is simply the image rasterized pixels.

  If you save for Web to the exact size as it is used for, pixels correspond to use and it will look nice.

  Any raster image looks pixelated when scaled beyond its actual size.

  The mentioned Colum .lng file are accessible more easily by clicking on file > project settings > Advanced button > LNG tab

  Under LNG, you will see everything most of the default labels for different items. It is better to work here on the source of LNG, rather than trying to change the output WebHelp that will be replaced later the next time that you build.

• Bug in CS5 render anti-aliased text in "save for web".

  Looks like there is a bit of a bug when using 'save for web and devices' with light weights of type in CS5 for Mac. Although the slim type looks good while working in Illustrator, as soon as you enter the "Save for web" dialog, it gets seriously distorted. It seems that this issue has been present at least since CS4. It happens not in Photoshop. It seems particularly bad for light text on dark background.

  Some people may say ' of course, Illustrator is not really intended for work intensive bitmap. However, with features like "look pixelated" and 'hold on to the pixels', Illustrator is (usually) become a very effective way for web design, and personally I prefer it to Photoshop. It is also clear that Adobe intends it to be used in this way. In order to make anti-aliasing bug is certainly a problem. Just surprised that they don't have not address it when CS5 is born.

  I have implemented some images on http://www.thesheep.co.uk/2011/06/24/illustrator-save-for-web-anti-aliasing-problems/ example to illustrate the problem.

  Are there any smart workaround for this? It's a bit annoying to have to hover over stuff in PS before exporting, but maybe that's what I have to do. I hope that Adobe will address this soon.

  In save for web go to the "Image size" tab and select type optimized menu. It takes the smoothing parameter that you selected in the character Panel.

  We run Webcenter content 11.1.1.8 with 11g DB. We want to turn on the OTS (without HER) for research within the contents of the file. Issues related to the:

  (1) we use the file system as a store for the native content files. OTS will still work with this setting? If not, is there a possibility to go to DB to store the native content as well?

  (2) are there enforcement on DB to turn the OTS? Documentation talking about change of "SearchIndexerEngineName" in the config.cfg, reboot and re of indexation. Are there more steps to take on DB?

  (1) we use the file system as a store for the native content files. OTS will still work with this setting? If not, is there a possibility to go to DB to store the native content as well?

  -Will work with the file as system store no need to change. But if you need to store files in DB Configuration filestore accordingly (usually in small or very sensitive files)

  -No action on DB, but you may need to configure jobs fragmentation index for improved search performance. After selecting the optimized fields (limit is 32 fields, including the fields of system) via HUMANS CONFIG Applet just rebuild the search index.

  I also suggest using the native file for indexing add below setting in the config.cfg

  UseNativeFormatInIndex = true

  I'm fairly new to Illustrator and I wanted to create a vector logo based for its use in the press a web.

  If the early hours have been a lot of fun and learned so much just to try - but now im stuck. I wanted to save the result to the web / devices and if I still get some white stripes in the .gif image. I guess it comes from framing of the image and there is a solution to this problem just by making a few settings.

  I tried searching for an answer to this problem, but nothing seems to fix everything that happens.

  Recently, I had to replace my laptop and from Windows XP to Windows 7.  I transferred the PSE 7 from the old system to the new system and have had no problems with it - until now.  I have an image in format Photoshop 52 - layer I want to save as an animated .gif, with each layer as a different image.  File > > Save As has the ability to save layers as frames, but if I check it, then click on 'Save', nothing happens.  Nothing at all.  On my old system, I would get a new dialogue with options like the quality, duration by frame, loop, etc., but that doesn't happen any more, and there is nothing to save (if I'm going to find the new .gif file, it's just not there). If I do not choose "Layers in images", dialogue .gif does so very well and it has no difficulty to save it as a static .gif file.  But it seems that she won't just save it in animated format.

  I'm having the same problem with "save for Web".  Or the option of the file menu or typing command will bring up dialogue to let me record this way.  He thinks maybe a second, but does nothing else and does not record the image.

  I'm having a problem using Google search on the web (toolbar and directly from google.com) in Firefox. When I search a keyword, lets say a company name and you wait to make appear the company Web site, the results include videos, articles, news, etc. None of the main company Web site are included in search results.   I ran all the patches malware/Antivirus software recommended, reinstalled Firefox, update of a few add-ons/plug-ins I have, and made sure that Google search parameters are exactly the same for all browsers. Nothing works.

  Did anyone else encounter this problem or have a guess at what may be the cause of this? I have spent a few hours trying to fix it and am willing to give up Firefox, so far that is (was) my go to the browser.

  Unfortunately, I installed iLivid and have had the problem that many others have lived with the irritating searchqu. I followed the many useful threads on using Firefox and through disabling modules, using Add/Remove programs etc, I have manged to pretty much get rid of. One annoying aspect remains. On my Firefox page, next to the usual web address field is another field of research that is pre-filled with "iLivid Web search."

  It worked for me. There is a magnifying glass with a drop-down arrow on the left side of the box using the ilivid search. Hit him and you will see a list of search engines.
