  Hello, there are times that my Firefox crashes (well, it happens to all of us who use it to some extent) or updates asking to restart.   The browser.sessionstore.max_resumed_crashes preference is to avoid an infinite loop. The default value 1 means an attempt to restore the session automatically once and if it fails (for example, it crashes before it can finish to restore), then display the "embarrassing". You could try to increase the value of 2 or 3 and see if it works on the second or third time. If you still see the screen "This is awkward" after a crash, Firefox still does not make a failback.

  You can also check if there is a file user.js in your profile folder. A user.js file is a file of optional parameters that Firefox reads at startup and uses to override the settings saved in your previous session. Unless you create a user.js file yourself, you can usually just remove it. This article includes a section on the hunt for a possible user.js file: How to fix preferences that will not save.

  Note: by default, Windows hides the .js file extension. Precise work with file names, I suggest setting windows to show all file extensions. This article has the steps: https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

  Host: Windows 7 64-bit

  Client: Windows XP SP3

  The packaging of the software in question worked less than 6.5 without problem, but after upgrade to 7.1 it becomes intermittent 0xC0000005 errors and break when in software rendering mode. Hardware rendering mode, both DirectX and OpenGL, work without errors but the performance is slow incrediblely (software requirements recommended is a processor of 300 mhz so...  ) Hardware rendering is likely to slow as the host has limited on the video material and excessive CPU power.

While there should be more than enough video hardware (the program runs on a video 16meg card) performance instantly goes to 100% when software rendering is selected, so seems that CPU or hard drive is the bottleneck.

  I think I have updated a major problem with the latest update from microsoft.

  I've been running windows 7 ultimate 64-bit for over a month now, as I received it for a launch party I was the host.

  That's all works fine but a few nights ago, he just stopped from upward, it just hangs at 'Starting Windows' screen, the windows logo does not yet appear.  He would not go into safe mode and startup repair couldn't do anything.

After restoring my computer to a previous state (before that the updates have been installed) now my computer works normal again. So, for those of you having problems with windows and your way of thinking too yourself Uggghhh, why he did this? Well this is the service pack 1, windows now, I don't know any alternative to restore your computer to an earlier date before the updates took place, and if you don't have a win 7 is pretty smart and im sure they have a restore to the factory settings.   The reason for newspapers to restore an instance available to all other nodes in CARS.  When one of the instance crashes, surviving instances can access the content instance redolog crashed and apply the changes to recovery.

  I am a relative noob when it comes to virtualization.  I did a lot of research for the response, but can't find it.  Maybe you guys can help.

  Connected to the host (VMWare vSphere for ESXi 4.0) management console, I changed the time on the host because he was distant.  After that, the vSphere console has become very slow, and when I clicked on another tab it has expired.

  I had this happen before. I was unable to restart the services or navigate from the console. I waited until hours off-peak and connected directly in the less critical guest OS and stop them. I had to stop several before I could get access again vcenter. Once I had access i vMotioned the rest of the guests to other hosts and restarted the ESXi host. It's a risk, because if you cannot close machines you have to powercycle. You seem to have access, so you can be able to stop them from the CLI on the host.

  uninstalled Windows 8.1 recent updates... PE - 12 always crashes on startup. Found the .prf file. deleted it and viola! PE - 12 start and operate normally. Just a coincidence that updates Windows 8.1 had recently been installed. Should have gone for the easy solution, right from the beginning.
