When you try to install Acrobat Professional 11 the following came the installation cannot continue because some of the processes are running.


Installation failed


Setup has encountered an error that caused the installation to fail.


Contact the manufacturer of the software.

If the processes are listed, turn them off prior to launch the installation.  Usually, these processes are something running in the background and may include virus protection.  Here are some links that can help fill the background programs:

    Yes, OK, now I see your problem... I didn't know that your screen has been damaged at this point.

    You get this message because the current version of the "BB Desktop Manager" software claims a newer MAC OS on your machine!

    Can't upgrade you your Mac OS to the newest? Generally, these improvements are very good markets in the Mac world.

    That would allow you to install the software and then (hopefully) make a backup of your machine (blindly?) and therefore to restore the data on your new device!

    So my advice would be to upgrade your Mac operating system. The other reason to do it, is that previous versions of the software BBDM are very difficult (does not say impossible) to find on the internet.

  • Cannot install LifeCam HD-5000 on Windows XP - error "Setup cannot continue because an unexpected error has occurred."

    Installation of webcam LifeCam HD-5000. I'm on Windows XP and you get to halfway through the installation and error message came through. Three times so far.

    If you use Windows XP 64-bit, then the LifeCam HD-5000 is not compatible.

  • "Windows Setup cannot continue because a required driver could not be installed" while improving to 64-bit

    I'm trying to install windows 7 64 on a 32-bit with the custom installation option. All is well until that right at the end of the installation it gives me this error "Windows Setup cannot continue because a required driver could not be installed. I tried this several times but the same results. I used the windows Upgrade Advisor to see if my computer is compatible and it is no problem.

    Restore the previous installation of Windows and do the following:
    1 disable any security software before you attempt to upgrade or do a clean install.
    2. make sure that your computer is updated (devices and applications)
    3. disconnect all external devices before installing.
    4. check your hard disk for errors:
    Click Start
    Type: CMD, according to the results, right-click CMD
    Click on "Run as Administrator"
    At the command prompt, type: chkdsk /r
    When you restart your system, your computer will be scanned for errors and will try to correct them.

    In addition, run the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor, it will scan your system and provide a report telling you if your PC can run Windows 7, and if there is no compatibility problems with your hardware or programs.

  • Files from Adobe PDF creation cannot continue because Acrobat is not activated

    I have Windows 8 and Adobe Acrobat Pro X, alongside CS6 Master Collection. Currently, I can't open PDF documents.  Whenever I double-click on a PDF file, nothing happens.  I tried clicking on the Acrobat X icon, nothing happened.  Sometimes, the activity is on / off, that is, sometimes it works, most of the time now it doesn't.  Recently, it started about 24 hours ago.  I tried to save it as a PDF and I get an error as creation of Adobe PDF files cannot continue because Acrobat is not activated.  I fully activated my license several months ago, so I don't know why this is.  I'm also a fatal error box: "Acrobat failed to connect to a DDE server. I tried to go in the Manager of tasks and endless AcroTray and Adobe Acrobat Update Service process. But this does not resolve the situation.  I tried to download the latest update 10.1.6 but that didn't fix it.

    Any other ideas?

    Also, yesterday I managed to get into Acrobat, I tried to repair the installation option, which did not set it.

    I have solved my problem by uninstalling Acrobat fully and then re - install.

    Distressed it Center solutions Microsoft, I can't download patches without getting an error message saying "Troubleshooting cannot continue because an error has occurred."

    I'm having the same problem. Microsoft does not seem to be interested. I don't buy anything else Microsoft until this is resolved.
