  System Restore can probably help.

  To restore the system from DVD

             

  a. start the computer from the Windows installation disc

  j. now, you will need to confirm the restore point. Click "FINISH" to continue or "BACK" to select another drive or restore point. You are now prompted one last time to confirm that you want to continue. Click 'YES' to continue or 'NO' to select a different drive or restore point.

  k. 'System Restore' will boot now.

  System Restore will now restore files, finalize the restoration.

  Once this done, tell whether she succeeded it, if so click "RESTART" to restart the computer, if it's not then try a different date.

  Once rebooted and you get on the desktop, you will receive a confirmation of the success of restorations. Click 'CLOSE' to continue.

• Mapping network drives through the command prompt to another user

  Right now I am implementing a batch file that will map the readers of network for other user accounts. Currently, I can only card readers for the connected account and no one else. Is there a way to do it through the command prompt, or I have to use powershell. Really, I'd rather it be done through the command prompt as I already all the completed script, with the exception of this part.

  EDIT: After further review, I conclude that there is no possible way to do it. Simply, it is not included in all orders that I could find. If someone finds, then great, but if not, like I did is as follows:

  Check the user credentials against a master list which also has passwords.

  Once a match, use this user name and corresponding password.

  Run this to authenticate by using the Group Policy Editor.

  You can map drives with group policy or by using a startup script (= batch file) that contains one or more of the following commands:

  NET use / persistent: no
  NET use q: \\ServerName\ShareName / User: David SomePassword

  NET use q: \\ServerName\ShareName / User: David *.

  Note that the incorporation of the passwords in a batch file is a serious safety hazard that is why the second command is preferable.

  May not, your settings in Windows Explorer is configured to be able to see (display hidden and system files/directories).

  This is not a trivial process for non trained. Also note that open a command prompt does NOT give your son of additional privileges unless he knows the password for an administrator account.
  Please note that if you skip any step then you may have a machine that won't start longer.
  1. Burn a CD to repair Windows via Control Panel / backup and restore.
  2. Test this boot the machine with her CD in the repair of Windows.
  3. Label this CD as "Repair Windows CD", then store it in a safe place.
  4. Start normally. Logging in as an administrator account.
  5. Create a Restore Point.
  6. Log in under your son's account.
  7. Click on the Globe to start, and then type regedit.exe and press ENTER. Enter the credentials of the administrator in case of dispute.

  I don't think you can do a mandatory prompt. To do this, you can create a work around.

  1. in the command prompt, add possible value; "Please make a selection to first". You can define a SQL query for the value of Ant show you. View all possible values, and via a 'UNION' Add "Please make a selection to first". Default font. Now, your request will be displayed with nothing.

  2. create a "No. Results" - view in your application.

  In this way, it is not mandatory, but it forces a user to select a value.

  I have a wise distribution of the price when price report area > some user defined value. I've implemented which user promt help to filter option. In my report, there are 4 reports say Report1, Report2, report3 and rapport4 displayed at the same time. Report2 needs this value set by the user for the price to charge. But in my case, before loading the full report, it is asking for this value of price. I want to put the user defined ask prices in the associated report.is is possible? Please suggest.

  You can do this by doing two things:

  1. open report you in edit mode, select the display 'A' (if this is the first view, it will be selected by default), click on the link "Modify report properties" on the left, this will open the settings window and guests. Click on the command prompt, and then click on edit. Click Next, Next and proceed to the third stage where are the values of guests. Click on any value, and then click default (to make this value as a default)-an arrow will start pointing your default value. You can also select "All" and make it your default. Finish it.

  2. click on change display and then to the data screen, go to "Surface invite" tab and choose for your prompt display option in the title of "view".

  Save and open the report. Now, it asks you to enter a value any before loading one of the views. The default 'All' (or the default value you set) will be used to load A view and by the drop-down list of values, you can change to filter the data from this point of view.

• Prompt the user for entry as a vi

  I have a weird problem.

  When I run a program that has two under 'interrogate the user entry' vi in a row, one does exactly what it's supposed to.  The second opens as a Labview VI.  This means you cannot use it as planned and so it is a part of the overall program cannot run.  I think that this problem began to spontainiously as I have not change this part of the program at all.   I even tried to delete the old under vi and replace it with a new and the problem persists. Any ideas on that? Joined the program and looks like a picture of what the error. Sorry the program is great, but the problem occurs in the early stages.

  Hi John,.

  The problem probably isn't with your user to enter vi, it's probably in the upper loop of your program.  I think that your second entry vi opens, then your upper loop begins to run before the user can enter anything, there is a mistake in the upper loop that stops LabVIEW and let your dialog box open.  You can watch this happen if you open the block diagram and turn on "highlight the execution."

  I am developing a software where I constantly read data from equipment. There is a command that requires a password to enter in this software. I tried to use the query the user entry to receive the password for the user. However when the guest user screen opens, my software stops the reading of data from the equipment until the user enters the password. I don't want that. I want to read the data coming from the equipment, while the user inserts the password again.

  Is it possible to run the query the user entered a parallel process during execution of the read data part? Is there another way to request a password from the user?

  LabVIEW is based on DATA streams. When there is no dependence on the data between segments of code, and then they run in parallel.
