• I erased the 4400 printer paper jam series but still cannot print on Win XP

  Hello! In the middle of printing, I met a paper jam on my printer HP 4480 (4400 series). The HP Solution Center window automatically appeared and led me through how to clear. I removed the paper stuck, turned the unit back on again once, however a new print request doesn't have to print the next page. Windows XP window, printer says jam paper with the refreshing Word flashing. The HP Solution Center says transport error, but has no other suggestions. Any help will be appreciated.

  Thanks for your suggestion. I was trying somethings myself yesterday. Just after my initial post I have someone else saw posting some troubleshooting tips. I watched them and their suggestion was to download HP Print and Scan doctor. I did, and this utility did not find anything wrong. There was no paper or the other. The doctor's suggestion was to try one for automatic printing. To Auto print successfully, which means I got a page to print. On this, I cancelled the print out via Windows task and tried another page of printing. He worked and very well since.

  I would say uninstalling the software of the printer.

  Once it is uninstalled, I suggest you put your system in clean boot mode in the configuration of Microsoft.  You can do this by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows.

  Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest to reinstall the HP printer install wizard for Windows.

  The information provided in your post is not sufficient to diagnose your problem. To at least tell you if it's a hardware or software problem, we need to know the name of the printer manufacturer and model number, when exactly meet the problem and what are the symptoms you see.

  Usually, a paper jam is caused by a hardware failure in a printer. So, at this point, I also suggest you go to the website of the manufacturer of the printer support and ask for help on their part. This can help you better.

  I can't find/see the paper jam on the color HP LaserJet Pro CM 1410 Series printer.  I checked the domains listed in the manual, but there is no sign of my envelope paper jam.  Y at - it info on how to do to remove the outside cover to try to find the jam?

  The documentation provided by HP for a paper jam in the CM1410 series, I chose the CM1415fnw in this list of series as my example, can be found here.  HP does not have a document that has a complete failure of the product.

• V515w printer - paper jam

  We have two printers V515w.  We have a "paper jam".    We have released the jammed paper and cannot see small bits of paper stuck in the printer.   However, whenever we try to print it stuck again.   Always on the right side of the sheet.   I'm trying to understand how to disassemble the printer in order to join the bowels and remove the pieces of paper.   Any suggestions how to get this sucker apart?    I removed two screws from the back and the two screws that are visible when the printer is open.   I see on the back side above where the plug is inserted a small hole with a symbol of a padlock.   I suppose that if I could get a little tool in there it can release a locking mechanism.    Does anyone have ideas on this?      Thanks Dale

  Your printer has a duplex on it unit? If Yes, at the back of the printer, press the two tabs bit downwards and the duplex comes out.

  If not, then

  Unplug the printer from the wall, then remove the power brick on the back of the printer for 60 seconds. This will reset the printer receives error messages.

  Some members took this time to return the printer and shake for 30 seconds. Other members have tried to use a vacuum cleaner and penetrate inside and clean all the pieces that may be inside.

  They then plugged everything back in and had some success.

  These paper jams began took place may 19, 2012, just after one of the printer drivers for my all in one HP officejet 4580 printer crashed my windows Vista o/s. My computer makes a diagnosis of the problem and immediately informed me that the accident was caused by a damaged printer driver and then he fixed the windows Vista. It was at this time bad paper jams began.

  I have towels wipes windex for electronics and used one to clean the rollers and it did not help at all.

  It looks like Windows may have installed an incorrect print driver. I suggest the doctor printing & scanning HP to see if it is able to solve your problem running. If it does not solve the problem, post back with new details and will continue from there.

• C309G. Will not feed photo paper and give the message of paper jam.

  Using 8.5 x 11 photo paper that he will feed not and I get a message that there is a paper jam.  I can then turns off the printer and it will be by himself through the paper and eject it.  If he he'll come when I close it took off why it won't pick it up and print.  I cleaned all rollers with distilled water.  I had the printer a couple of years and it has always worked well.  It is a new problem that has just begun.  Nothing has changed.
