"The problem event name: BEX ' OR '... APPCRASH.

Windows Movie Maker works fine with my Vista OS until I get to the part "Publish movie" (which used to work without problem). I import .avi or .wmv files, edit, split, add effects and titles and it looks good, but now, when I try to publish, the white on windows and finally I get a message that "Movie Maker has stopped working". In this case to save for viewing on computer, DVD, electronic or otherwise. I successfully several projects recently published, so why this suddenly undertake happening? Each project is only a song-length (2-5 minutes)

I have tried to change the "DEP", as shown in the Help window, but the message thatWMM does not work with disabled "DEP"

If the download a fresh version does not resolve this problem, what else can anyone offer?

Thank you - great answer. I also deleted the list of video files in the list "clips" and 60 seconds later I got a 'film' - thank you
