the REACTIVATION of network connection

Once agine Microsoft did something so simple, so difficult.

While in safe mode if the network connection has been disabled by the user is possible (in any case) to re - enable this? If you try this find yull its almost impossible to get back online. If someone knows how this could you please post and let me know.

Thank you

IV finally restarted my connection. Seems that Vista network Shell was the answer here. Using commands through 'Run' with netsh.exe did the trick.

Thank you guys for the answers here. Now everythings normal.

  • How can I remove the Administrative Tools, network connections, printers & Fax and scanners and cameras my desktop icons?

Recently, I installed a trial version of Tune Up Utilities 2009. During one of the scans/tune-ups, he gave me the option to display the Administrative Tools, network connections, printers & Fax and Scanners & cameras icons on my desktop. I checked ok, however, now, I think it's too crowded in my office and you want to remove them... right on the desktop, not everywhere else they are located. I tried everything I know to remove them without success. Anyone knows where is the menu option to display on the desktop so I can uncheck or choose Delete? I don't want to have to change all the .ini files or .bat to because I'm afraid I don't do it correctly and create other problems.

    Hello tellis1230

I don't know what you have tried, but have a look here

    Right-click Desktop-desktop/properties/Office/Customization

  • I can't get the wireless connection appears on the list__ of 'network connections '.

Only, I had to reformat my Latitude D31 and don't know how to do the wireless network connection appears on the list of network connections.  The without line is turned on and the router works.

On a relative (sort of) topic, before reformat, I got a blue screen that says since more memory was used that was installed, there was no memory for something else.  The computer is running (I reinstalled Windows XP, but in Setup the message still arrives.  Is this normal?

    Hello

Old laptops use to come with very little memory.  Since then, software exceed the amount of memory installed

Check the amount of memory you have and see if you can upgrade.

You can find and expanded manual on Dell' support for the laptop.

    Regarding the wireless.

It is possible that the wireless card is not operational and need to reinstall drivers.

    Maybe this can help.

Check the Device Manager for the wireless card valid entry.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_dm.jpg

If there is no valid entry, remove any entry from fake and re - install the drivers for the wireless card.

Check network connections to make sure that you have a network icon/entry wireless connection, and that the properties of the icon (right-click on the icon) are correctly configured with the TCP/IPv4 protocol in the properties of network connections.

    http://www.ezlan.NET/Win7/net_connection_tcp.jpg

Make sure that if there is Wireless Utility a utility vendor is not running with the native Windows wireless utility.

Make sure you firewall No. preventing / blocks wireless components to join the network.

Above everything is OK and it connects to the wireless router. Log in from any computer which is, or can be connected to the router with a wire wireless, disable wireless security and try to connect with no. wireless security.

  • Helps the open WIFI network connection

    Hello

I have a new dash of Sony that I connect to my wifi to work. The network itself is open, however once your device is connected to WIFI, once you open a browser window on your computer/Tablet/phone is where it asks you your work credentials (name of user/pass). Once you submit you can go anywhere. I've seen this at other places with band wifi open, but you must accept the terms and conditions of the first time you open a browser window. Does anyone know how after you connect to the wifi network I would be able to enter my credentials on the dashboard? Since it is not exactly a web browser I know.

    Thank you!

    Hello

Credentials of the user to connect to the Wi - Fi network can be entered into the dash unit.

  • Why the thre 2 network connections

    original title: two wireless connections?

Im running XP and I click on network connections, it says wireless network connection, and 1394 connection. Someone can tell me what this means and why there are 2 connections?

    Thanks in advance

A connection 1394, also known as a FireWire connection, is a type of network connection that can be made via a cable between two computers that have FireWire ports.  It can also be used to connect FireWire compatible devices. It isn't wireless, but it is displayed in the network connections Control Panel because it is an available network connection.

  • Why the control panel network connections window does not show my active network connections.

There is nothing visible in the network connections window. I still have full internet access.

  • Windows Vista continues to try to connect to the VirtualProfile in network connections.

I was helping my brother set up its new Netgear Wireless USB adapter in Windows Vista and kept running into the same problem.  Once the adapter has been installed, Vista would continue to try to connect to a VirtualProfile under network connections which would interfere with the connection of the profile.  I had my brother take the VirtualProfile and then it connected correctly.  However, after each reboot, the connection of VirtualProfile appears every time and we need to start over the process.  A way to remove this VirtualProfile permanently and why what is happening?  Thanks for any input.

    Hello Flash4,

Thank you for choosing Microsoft answers forum for Windows Vista.

I suggest you go to your network card making and download / install the latest drivers.

Also I suggest that you check your system for corrupted files. You use the tool (SFC.exe) System File Checker to check and repair corrupt system files. To do this, follow these steps:

    1. open an elevated command prompt.

    2. to do this, click Start, click programs, accessories principally made, right-click Guest, and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.

    3. type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

The sfc/scannow command. analyzes all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with appropriate Microsoft versions.

    Hope this information is useful.

    Thank you.

  • The laptop has network connection limited (DNS may be unavailable)

There is a server on my intranet, which has a total of five users. The server is played wireless through the gateway. The bridge also has two printers and a router plugged into it. The router is necessary because there are not enough ports on the bridge for all necessary cable connections. A fiver users is plugged into the router so that it both (either the server and a user) have a wired connection (this is necessary because of special circumstances). One of wireless users was able to connect after configuration of the router. The user encounter this problem is a laptop running Windows 7 x 64. See the Wi - Fi network as limited. Diagnosis is by saying that the DNS can be unavailable. How can I solve this problem without potentially interfering with the connectivity of the other user?

P.S. I didn't want to find a similar question to this one buried in the forums somewhere.

To solve the problem, I have disabled the DHCP disabled the DNS server, and then set the address IP of the router should match that of the entry door. Once the computer restarts, all network related issues have been resolved.

  • Internet connection sharing: "Bluetooth network connection" does not appear in the list "Home Networking connection."

    Hello.

With Windows 7, I want to share the network connection Wi - Fi with Bluetooth through PAN (Personal Area Network).

When there are several connections in addition to Bluetooth after opening "Share" tab, I see these connections in the "Home Networking connection" list, but there is no Bluetooth. Then, when there is no connection in addition to Bluetooth which I can share with, there is no tab "share."

    Equipment: laptop Samsung NB30:

    • Broadcom BCM2070 Bluetooth 3.0 + HS USB Device with the driver PAN ('Bluetooth device (Personal Area Network)") provided by Samsung: Microsoft, version 6.1.7600.16385, 21.06.2006

As I assume there should be means to somehow add "Bluetooth Network Connection" to a list of connections that can be internet shared with.

Also, when I tried to fix this problem manually, other questions are raised:

    • There is really no Thoubleshooting guide for Internet connection sharing in Windows 7? I see this document on the site "Microsoft Support" for Windows 98SE, Windows XP - but not Vista and 7.
    • When I'm stuck to the administration of the system to the GUI, there is good decision to guarantee a target with the CLI. After searching a command line installation Internet connection sharing, I see no guides for this - only something likehttp://forums.devshed.com/windows-help-34/enabling-ics-under-command-line-89499.html . Is there really no way to set up ICS by command line and I'm forced to use complex GUIs?

So, please help me solve problem BT PAN ICS. But if you reply to other questions, it will also be interesting to read.

  • T60, XPPro and the disappearance of network connections

I have a client with a T60 (2623-D7U). I got it in a month with no network connection in Device Manager or in the Panel. Both wireless (WWAN and 802) did not work or could be found and cable is not connected. After having worked several frustrating days of research I reinstalled XPPro (factory reinstall) and wired. I dropped a wireless card and the client was happy.

    Now I have it back.

Yet once he was missing two connections. This time, I rebooted and did some jiggery pokery and managed to get the map Wi - Fi and back visible and connected, but still no WWAN.

My question is, this is a topic? I suspect that the WWAN hardware is originally from Wi-wired and repeated problems. Someone at - it firm clues beyond what I have already done?

Thanks Andy, XP Pro has been mentioned in the post a couple of times, but I had tried all the MS corrects the previous (a month ago) occasion before the clean install.

It is early in the morning, when I posted, I thought I might try a hardware solution so lifted the T60 keyboard (4 to 6 screws on the back) and found the two wireless devices arising therefrom. I prick and pushed, but has not removed the. Reassembly and restart, the EVDO device reappeared after an absence of more than a month. The wireless, 802, however, is still AWOL. Then I guess is to unscrew the 2 screws on each wireless device (they look identical) and remove/relocate to own PCB connections.

    Sounds of?
