  Hello! Try running cmd as administrator. Click Start and search cmd. right-click and then select run as administrator. Then try the command again. Worked perfectly for me. :)

  When I try to use the system restore, I get this:

  There was an unexpected error.  Class not registered (0 x 80040154).  If please close the system restore and try again.

  Well, here's the story, I bought an Acer aspire T180 a few years back from Best Buy with Windows Vista installed. The only drive I received was a Vista Upgrade disc. Make the mistake of installing the upgrade. now I have the upgrade on my computer and it always tells me that I have a version of windows that is not authentic. I tried to use my COA on upgrade drive, does not recognize and COST on the case of my Aspire, once again with the same result. I have my old version under windows.old, but can't seem to install it. I would just go back to my Vista OEM install. I have access to another computer, but it is an Apple and prefer if I didn't use this option unless it makes it easier. I guess what I'm asking, it's just to get back to my legal version on this computer, would like to keep files, but if can't, I would like to do a clean reinstall. Mine is out of warranty, so no help from Best Buy or Acer without paying their

  Run the disk cleanup utility should delete these files. You can remove the files if you want to save space on the hard disk.

  Try to delete the files as an administrator. To do this, try the following steps.
  a. Click Start, type disk cleanup, click with the right button on disk cleanup and click Run as administrator.
  b. place a checkmark on "System error memory dump files"
  c. click ok and check if the files are deleted successfully.
