Hi Eddie Reed Big Band,.

·         What is the brand and model of the laptop?

The BIOS (Basic Input Output System) to update the latest version and firmware. I recommend you contact the BIOS manufacturer for further assistance.

Note:

Change (CMOS) BIOS/complementary metal oxide semiconductor settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    Hi,

It would help if you provided the WHOLE message and CORRECT, including all codes completely written word for Word - this can often help us identify the problem.

If you think you know when it started, and it is recent, then see if a system restore to before that the problem will work.  If you use Windows 7, seehttp://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/700-system-restore.html. If you are using Vista, seehttp://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/using-windows-vista-system-restore/. If you are using XP, seehttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/306084. Sometimes this simple process made the rounds and sometimes that doesn't help - but it is easy and worth if she has recently begun.

When everything is fixed, get rid of any program you use to do a cleaning of the registry.  Even if it wasn't the cause, it could easily be the next time.  It is poisonous to your system and is not necessary because Windows is a research work on its own.

    Install it.

Then restart at least a couple of times for a few minutes between each restart.

Now, try to get the updates through the normal web page (http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/) and see how much more you can get (100 +) and keep checking until you no longer have.

  • The time on my Ipod will not change when its coastline, Wifi disconnects randomly, screen goes green and red and restart full iPod.

OK so this problem started about two days ago. I noticed that my time was off so I went to settings > General > Date and time. I changed the hour correctly but when I locked it and got out of her for a few minutes, it was always the same when I changed it. For example: this morning, back at the exact time that was at 10:41 20 minutes later, I changed my time and it was still stuck at 10:41 time will work properly if I am constantly on my IPod and do not block. I really need to use the alarm when I wake up every morning! I've tried everything to fix it, but nothing seems to work. Reset my IPod do not even help.

This issue has also started two days ago. I noticed that the wifi on my IPod touch 5th generation cut off while an application is open, but when I close it then connects back. It is only on my IPod, but not my IPad. It's pretty boring. I also tried to reset my router but it always disconnects.

The latest happened just yesterday. Again, I've tried my time is correctly set when all of a sudden half top of my screen turns red and turns green half lower. The screen then goes to black and my entire iPod restarts.

Thank you very much for the help. :-)

  • So, for the 3rd TIME WHEN I REQUEST SUPPLICANT why NOT update only FF updated my browser?

You see, I ask myself this same question twice before, because Firefox has once more for the third time last updated browser DESPITE MY PLAIDANT ASK TWICE BEFORE NOT to DO SO. but now I have a platform to make public DISHONESY of Firefox, put to task for defying a very adamant demand, specifically NOT UPDATE MY BROWSER, CIRCUMSTANCES THAT systematically, repeatedly occurred throughout all these years I've been with Firefox since 2005.

How is it that Firefox continues to deliberately defy, ignore the wishes of its customers most loyal me inflamed beyond words, when I repeatedly made KNOWN QUITE WELL NOT to HAVE MY BROWSER updated.

BUT NOW, AFTER ALL THIS TIME, TOGETHER WITH THE INSIGHT I HAVE RUN AS ONE INDUSTRY COMPUTER SPECIALIST I know very well why Firefox CONTINUES THIS PRACTICE WITH ABANDON.

    1. they do not like anyone was sleeping with the subject: config (then why did you never included it in the first place) as I do.

    2. they don't like anyone made modules incompatible extensions again as I do.

    3. they do not like someone tampering Firefox as I do.

And all Firefox should do to reduce to nothing all the meticulous work I spend change about: config. configurations to accommodate my own and the needs of my company and all the hard work. spend time of activation of newly incompatible extensions, I need to work as effectively as possibleamong other things that I tweaked, THAT I EXACTLY WHAT YOU DO for THE REASONS I GAVE. YOU deliberately, to DO so hatefully. And that's the final reason for YOUR contempt total without taking account of the request of a customer. In addition, YOU, fIREFOX feel that since you wrote the code, and the owner of the code, YOU can insist USERS to follow the protocols of Firefox exactly as I ask.

Another example of YOUR dictatorial to browse the web - what approach YOU feel that no one should dare to take a peek to content that is not the level of WHAT YOU BELIEVE IS purity AND ALL OTHER CONTENT CORROMPRE THE MORALS OF OUR YOUTH.

In one of the cases where my browser has been updated despite my unyielding position against it, someone in YOUR ORGANIZATION has removed several sites for adults STRICTLY STRAIGHT to my favorites.

SO now, NOT ONLY DO you HAVE AN ATTITUDE INTRUSIVE big BROTHER THAT NOBODY DARE DEVIATE FROM the OFFICIAL FIREFOX BROWSING PROTOCOLS BUT NOW YOU have put in PLACE A CENSURER CAMPAIGN ON WHAT YOU CAN READ, WATCH at all SIMPLY BOOKMARK or.

BUT IT IS EVEN WORSE, MUCH WORSE. THE LAST TIME TWO YOU UPDATED MY BROWSER AGAINST MY WILL, YOU GAVE ME THE REASON MORE LAME MORE STUPID, INSULTING, STUPID WHY YOU UPDATED TWICE BEFORE AS IF THEY WERE JUST CIRCUMSTANCES THAT OTHERWISE NEVER WOULD HAVE VIOLATED AS WELL AS THE PRIVACY BEING THE TERRIBLE REBEL COMMERCIAL PRACTICES, ARROGANT AND SIMPLY TO YOUR MITIGATING CUSTOMER. BUT NOW IN ADDITION TO PROVE YOURSELF TO BE A MEGALOMANIACAL SOCIOPATH YOU HAVE REVEALED YOURSELF TO BE ABSOLUTE LIARS CHRONICLES.

AND IT OF BECAUSE I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR MY COMPUTER SERVICE COMPANY AND HAVE A LOT OF COMPUTERS UNDER MY CONTROL AND SUPERVISION. I HAVE ONLY RECENTLY PASSED ON SOME OF OUR COMPUTERS FROM IE TO FIREFOX AS A TEST AND I AM DEPRIVED OF WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN THE COMPUTERS THAT WERE USING FIREFOX AS A TEST STUDY.

AND WHILE THE TRUTH BEING WHAT IT IS, YOU ARE CAREFUL NOT TO MESS WITH MY BROWSER, AS IT IS WELL CONFIGURED TO NOT UPDATE, WHICH, IN YOUR HONOR, YOU GAVE HIM A LARGE DOCK, BUT YOU GRIMLY UPDATED SIX COMPUTERS THAT WERE PART OF OUR TEST STUDY
WHO HAD THE SAME CONFIGURATION OF BROWSER REQUEST NOT TO BE UPDATED BUT THAT YOU UPDATED HOWEVER. THESE COMPUTERS WERE PART OF A STUDY OF PRODUCTIVITY WHICH, BY UPDATING IT SET ALL THE SMALL EXPERIENCE OF OUR BACK A LITTLE BIT.

SO, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH YOU? I HAVE TO REALLY THINK LONG AND SERIOUSLY ON HOW TO RESPOND TO AN ORGANIZATION THAT HAS SHOWN NOTHING BUT THE WORST KIND OF APATHY, PRACTICES DISHONEST COMMERCIAL I'VE SEEN SINCE BEING IN THE COMPUTER SECTOR.

Automatic updates can sometimes damage the files in the profile, and I always read several web for a complaint indicating that it has not changed. This is one of the reasons why I don't like the automatic updates.

  • How can I scroll through button of the mouse on my laptop, mine does not work (as was) how should I do?

So basically I got Windows Vista, in which scrolling on my laptop worked fine, but I just got Windows 7 and when I try to scroll with my mouse pad, it does not work.

I can scroll using the bar on the side, but it is more convenient for me to use the mouse pad. It's not like it's an emergency or anything, but I would like to just this feature.

I can turn on my Dell Touchpad features or by going to control panel configuration - hardware & audio - devices & Printers - mouse (or more simply by typing "Mouse" in the search box on the Start Menu and select my mouse)- then in the mouse properties, there is a tab to manage the touchpad.  If your touchpad settings are not available for change, you will need to download and install a driver for the touchpad of your laptop.  If you respond with the brand and model of the laptop I or someone else here may be able to provide more information.

  • I have the problem with the time in my laptop

    Hello everyone,

I have issue with the time, whenever I stop my laptop for 2-3 hours. He return to date 01/01/2006 12:00 AM

    What should I do?

    Hello

Did your laptop more than a few years old?

The symptom you describe occurs when the battery that powers the CMOS BIOS chip wears.

The CMOS battery is responsible for providing voltage to the CMOS chip so that he remembers actually all parameters, including the time and date, that have been defined.

Replacing the CMOS battery is pretty simple in a standard OEM desktop PC. Unplug the unit. Open the case locate the quarter size battery. Remove the old battery and replace it with a new one. Plug in power and start the PC and set the time and date and accept the default settings. That's about all there is to it.

Replacing the CMOS battery in a laptop requires generally a bit of disassembly of sequential parts just to get to the battery. Not all laptops are, but most are like this.

I recommend that you have the CMOS battery, replaced by a HP authorized repair center.

    Kind regards
