OID 11.1.1.6 - belonging to the user group management
Dear,
Is there a way of OIDS to manage the users, via a specific user attribute group membership?
You all know that in AD for example, it is an attribute of the user "memberof" that could be used for this purpose I tried looking in OID for a similar attribute and actually found this a "orclMemberOf", however I can't figure out exactly how to use it. I tried editing through DOHAD, but got an error "constraint violation". I also tried to use ldapsearch as mentioned in this post Oracle Fusion Middleware security: group membership Fast searches within the OID with the attribute of orclMemberOf, but the attribute is not returned in the search results.
Any ideas... ? We just want to know if the only way to manage the belonging to a group is done using the attribute 'uniquemember' of the group, or if it can be configured on the user object.
Thank you
White
That can only means that is not your attribute to multiple values of the group.
The default value for the OID, groups have an objectclass of groupOfUniqueNames and their membership multi value attribute is uniqueuniquemember.
So lets say, you want to know the groups the admin account is a member, your application would be as follows:
(uniqueMember = cn = orcladmin, cn = Users, dc is sampledomain, dc = com)
This would release all memberships that belongs to the user.

Generation of the user interface of function error
Hello
just one tiny problem: on a Panel, I have a progress bar. Now, if I go to the user interface to use in the user interface editor, the UI must be saved, compiled and linked and results in some errors, see below. Not a real question that I can test all events/ToolTips in the user interface editor, but mistakes are always a little unnerving .
Hi Wolfgang,.
This is a bug confirmed in 2013: #424745.
It is expected that the code for the custom control must be compiled and linked (unregistered, however). However, the link must succeed, and you should be able to interact with the custom controls everything in operation. This was the behavior in 2012. Certainly, it is not a good way to interact with a progress bar in the user interface editor. But for other custom controls (control password, for example) it makes more sense.

WebEx meets the users server management issues
Hi all
I have three questions about the management of the user accounts on CWMS.
(1) cisco document mentions that a creation of password email will be sent to an new added manually to the users, but the document does not mention if a new user imported via cvs file will be sent an email from creation of password or not?
(2) If a new user has been added to CWMS via LDAP synchronization, CMWS email will inform the user about the creation of the account automatically?
(3) If a user account has been imported to CWMS via cvs, if on file after LDAP synchronization, the user account will be overrided or the user account will be duplicated?
Thank you
Danny
Hey Danny,
Let me answer your questions:
(1) Yes. Accounts imported via CSV when you use local user (without integration of directory or SSO) accounts marked as active during the import will get a "required Action: create a password for your new account" e-mail system.
(2) only if you enable LDAP authentication you can configure notifications about creating an account that will be sent. You can configure to be automatic by checking the 'send notifications automatically", or you can manually click the"Learn more now"to inform all users imported from the creation of the account.
(3) if the e-mail address of the account is the same locally on CUCM, the account will not be substituted. If an e-mail address is different, a new account will be created while the account is disabled.
I hope this helps.

The unit triggers managed security errors
I work with a client who is in the phases of an end NT / Exch 5.5 to AD / Exch 2 K 3 migration. Over this last weekend, we migrated the unit and users associated with mailboxes of unity in the new environment.
The customer has a monitoring service that provides managed security services They denounce that unity creates a large number of security events by calling the NT Service control services using the server
Message Block (SMB) CHANNEL service on the home Exchange Server.
I think it might be a normal part of the integration of the unit to Exchange 2K 3 server, I'm hoping to find someone who can tell me if it is a required function of the normal operation of the unit, a function to support an optional feature that can be disabled, or a sign that something is bad or misconfigured on the server unit.
Additional details are added below, thanks in advance for any information that may be offered.

Description of vulnerability
An attempt to access the NT Service control services by using the Server Message Block (SMB) service CHANNEL has been detected. SMB CHANNEL service allows managing Windows NT of Microsoft Services remotely. If a remote attacker access services NT Service Control, the attacker can start the service, stop the service, remove services, add services and change the default startup mode, allowing the attacker retrieve and modify the data stored on the server.
What you see is 'Ping' of the unit of Exchange servers, it monitors. This 'ping' lives inside several process unit (AvCsMgr, AvNotifierMgr, AvUmrSyncSvr and AvMsgStoreMonitor on the top of my head) and occurs at a default value of 15 seconds. You will see a lot of these seqeunces throughout a day; their presence does not represent a misconfigured server of the unit. If the unit was to monitor three total Exchange servers, you would see about 69120 ping sequences per day...
4 (unit processes)
3 (Exchange servers)
4 * 60 * 24 = (pings by pings day @4 / minute)
In versions prior to 4.0 (5), the unit used the SCM, Service Control Manager, (what amounts to the SVCCTL interface) to determine the State of the Exchange Server. Since MS changed permissions to do this in W2K3 SP1, we have changed our mechanism to query the Mapper point final CPP of Interface of the store EMSMDB scholarship provider instead.
When the unit is using the GCS, if you look in the SMB headers, the PID of the SVCCTL RPC calls fields will correspond to the process ID of the unit services that contain instances of AvWm: AvCsMgr, AvNotifierMgr, AvUmrSyncSvr, AvMsgStoreMonitor.

Impossible to drop the user in TimesTen
Hi all
I created a data store: "tt_demo."
Created a user: 'test' and he granted "Admin, connect, create table, select on SYS. $OBJ ".
Created a simple table: emp and inserted two records.
Now, I need to drop this user, so I plugged to the data as a store below:
[*oracle*@exalytics bin] $. / ttisql
Command > Connect "dsn = tt_demo";
Successful login: DSN = tt_demo; UID = oracle;...
But when I try to drop the user I get following errors:
Order > drop user test.
15168: cannot remove a user who has database objects (TABLE TEST. EMP)
The command failed.
Order > drop user test cascade;
805: DROP USER... CASCADE has not been implemented
The command failed.
CASCADE is not supported by the TTT?
Can someone let me know the solution for this?
FYI, Version TT: 11.2.2.4.1
Thank you
SrikanthAccording to the error message we have yet not DROP USER... CASCADE.
So to remove a user, you must first delete all the objects belonged to this user.

Attribute removal during the 'user disable' workflows in the OAM
I'm setting up a workflow to "Disable User' OAM. I would like to delete a few attributes (role Id, Id dept Say) of the user during the user to disable this task. (Turning off the user can disable the attribute manually, but I wanted it to be automatic).
No idea how to do this? This is possible. I leave principle OAM 10 g and also that you have configured a workflow 'disable user' in the user task manager. To achieve what you ask, you will need to do all the following:
-write a piugin PPP (read the dev guide please) that does what you want to do with the user's profile
-Fix the plugin as "external event" in the workfilow.I hope this helps. Let us know.

Cannot modify the information from the user on the page change user IOM
Hi *.
When I try to edit the details of the user, it gives this error message and cannot change.
* Commissioning Date error
Commissioning date cannot be earlier than the current date *.
I remove the date value commissioning of the table of the usr for this user. Then, it allow me to change.
How can I solve this problem.
On the creation of the user, is it ok if I join a before insert adapter to do provisioning date field empty?
OR
Is there another solution...
Help...
Kind regards
ChaturangaNo need to use an adapter.
Automatic provisioning will work without this adapter.
You remove commissioning Date of value on the before update, it's fake if you see business Point of view. He won't give you any problems in the future.

Error message from Norton 3039 65553 filter manager not lit
Disconnected Error Message wireless adapter
IMO, this kind of response is yet another reason to remove all Symantec software 'security' of your computer.
As far as I know, Microsoft Windows Filter Manager is software that is designed to be used by third-party developers (it is in this case Symantec) for simply integrating their software in Windows. It is not controlled by the user.
That said, it is possible (no guarantee) If you provide information in Event Viewer that relates to the crib of filter, someone here may be able to help.
- Open the event viewer (start > run > eventvwr > OK)
- Look in the Application logs and system warnings and errors
- Double-click a warning or an error of knowledge (properties)
- If the Filter Manager produces an error, it will probably be in the system log
- When (if) you find an entry that relates to the Manager of Windows filters, click on the "copy" icon in the properties of the page (just below the up/down arrows) and paste the information into your answer here "
But you should consider seriously really get Norton Removal Tool and Norton replacement with something else.
Microsoft Security Essentials is a good free antivirus solution and eSet NOD32 Antivirus is a good business idea.
