Offers Zenbook UX305 13.3 "laptop ASUS - black | PC World

There are different models ASUS UX305 and configuration.  This model of only 128 GB SSD I feel would not be appropriate for LR and Photoshop.  Windows 10 + Exchange + software will punish about 70 GB of SSD, if you leave active Hibernation will require an additional 8 GB of SSD.  LR databases can become big enough and RAW files can eat SSD space, if you do not use LR and bridge the bridge collection can eat also SSD space.   You have very little space left for Photoshop swap space.  If you want to do some 3D in Photoshop or use liquefy face control the GPU can make a difference. The announcement does not specify who has the GPU that model. Here's what I see on the site of ASUS, the with the best UX305CA method, that it can be configured with 512 GB SSD 8 GB of RAM and Windows 10 Pro would be good for 2014 + CC with the functionality of X IU 2 for the 3200x1800px to display 276ppi

  • This memory will work with the 23-g010 Pavilion?

I have a HP Pavilion 23-g010 all in one PC of office tomorrow. I have a question about RAM upgrades. I have a HP Pavilion laptop 2010nr g7. I looked at the specs and they look like both use PC3-12800-1600 MHz memory chips. No one knows for sure if the memory of the laptop will work in the Office? I would like to extend that 4 GB in the office by adding 4 GB of the laptop (to give the office 8GB). This would allow me to save money in new purchasting RAM for now.

Does anyone know if the memory of these two machines are compatible?

    I don't blame you.

No, if the memory is not compatible, the PC boots or something like that.

It should not destroy your PC.

Just make sure that you unplug before working inside the PC.

According to me, that it will work fine as long as the tensions are the same.

These two circuits must be of 1, 5V.

Even if the chip is 1.35v, the worst-case scenario is that the PC does not start.

Some memory claims DDR3L (low voltage = 1.35v).

  • My laptop will work fine CS5?

Hello all and thanks in advance for your help.

I am not well informed when it comes to computers and apologize. I was wondering if you could help me determine if my laptop will work fine CS5.

I have a laptop of 2 years. Its a Dell Latitude E6400, 14.1 "display, Core 2 duo processor (2.53 ghz), 8 GB RAM and 320GIG HD

Do you not think that this will be enough umph to run CS5?

Thanks a lot for your comments. I really appreciate it.

    my best,

    Rick

It should be. I have an Acer with similar specs and run CS4 with few problems. You will probably want an external monitor to use when you're not on the road and some sort of external storage.

There is also a problem with some laptops (including mine), to hold the space bar makes the unusable trackpad, until the space bar is released, so you can not change the hand tool temporarily. This problem does not arise if you use an external mouse or tablet, then you probably want one of those, also.

I want to replace the existing 500 GB "d" (5400 RPM) drive with an OCZ 240 GB drive SSD SATA III and must make sure that this laptop will support a SATA III SSD drive?

I am not concerned about the start time that you want to use the SSD for video editing, so I don't anticipate using the SSD instead of the c"" drive.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello

Well, this will speed up the startup time of your machine a lot but for editing video may not help much. In any case the SATA III (or 3) is backward compatible with SATA II (or 2) and SATA I (or 1). You're probably on the price/cost. A little program called PC Wizard will tell you the speed of the disk on your computer controller:

You can download it from the following link:

  • This processor will work in my CV?

I took a chance on this processor on ebay cause the price was right and the hope that this will work but HPs specs on my mobo leaves scratching me my head... the model of the proc that I bought is (AMD Athlon II X 4 620 2.6 GHz Quad - Core (ADX620WFK42GI) processor) my computer I want to put in is a HP pavalon p6203w

the motherboard is a M2N68-(Narra5), it has an AMD Athlon II X 2 215 2700 MHz @ which is an AM3 socket and on their spec for proc upgrade page it says

    TDP: 95W
Motherboard supports the following processor upgrades:
NOTE: only the socket AM2 processors + are supported with this motherboard.
    AMD Phenom II Quad-Core
    AMD Phenom II Triple-Core
    AMD Phenom Quad-Core (A) 9xxx series (AM2 +)
    AMD Phenom Triple-Core (T) 8xxx series (AM2 +)
    AMD Athlon X 4
    AMD Athlon X 3
    AMD Athlon X 2 (B) (AM2 +)

that those are my options, so I hope someone can get to know if it will work, before I try to install it thanks

It looks like it might, but keep in mind that when Windows detects that you have a new processor, it could decide to-authenicate your license if it is an OEM license.  I know it would make if you change motherboards, but perhaps someone else can talk to the processor being changed.  Whatever you do, don't forget to do a full system backup on an external hard drive before making any changes.

    Good luck.

I need a laptop to help with time I'll be traveling and need to get out the videos in the night.

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

    Al

Well, if I were to buy this model I would intensify the processor i7 - 2620 m for only $95, plus you get a helping hand from 2.0 GHz to 2.7 GHz.  CPU is the most important point for NLE.  If for any reason any you are not upgrading CPU, cut back on the graphics card to the GT 550 M

How do you meet the minimum requirements of system Adobe Premiere of 2 hard drives?  I see that they offer a second option.  If you are sure that it does not require a Dell in car of the brand and that it requires no additional hardware to install it you might be able to do it yourself which would be a bit cheaper, but there are two risks I mentioned.

  • I have a windows xp OEM SOFTWARE license key, but the drive has failed. This key will work on any XP installation disc?

due to a major problem, I have to completely remove the operating system (under license). can I still use this key to set up windows again? I have a key to the back of my sticker only computer laptop written "SOFTWARE OEM windows xp". Can I use this key with any windows xp cd? or I have to use a specific version? can u give me the link to download the specific version?

    Thanks in advance

You must use the recovery disks provided by the manufacturer (or the integrated recovery system) - see you manual for more details.

The major advantage of this is that all the required drivers should be included, so that you can immediately connect to the internet and install all updates.

Reisntalling using the sysstem of correct recovery also means that you shouldn't need to use the key on your COA stiker - as key to 'master' of the manufactuerer is integrated into the system and should not require activation.

But I don't know if this model will work in the English mobile network.
Anyone who knows where I can get the information?
    Thank you and Merry Christmas.

Moderator edit: added detail to the subject

As long as the 4G modem is EM7345 http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/documents/pd031021 it will work almost everywhere in the world except US.

According to this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks#Europe the only problem is the network to broadband UK on strips of LTE TDD 42 and 43. Other FDD UK networks will work.

  • Dell Wireless 802 1801.11bgn it will work on router dual-band 5 ghz?

    Hi all

    I have a Dell XPS 8900 Costco, Windows 10 i7 Setup.

It has a Dell 802 adapter wireless network 1801.11bgn.  This card will work on 5 GHz with a dual band router/modem?  Namely this one don't know if this link does not work there a

SBG6580 surfboard cable modem wifi router and
We have 2 computers, mine is the dell with the above adapter, and the other just has a dongle to 802.11n at 2.4 ghz
I wondered if mine can be configured to 5 GHz or should I spend too much and just get a cable modem/router which only works at 2.4 ghz.  Just trying to think ahead in case I update my card or if itself gets a new computer, I don't want to have to buy a new router to compensate or wireless card. I think that my laptop is also 801.11n
Advice?  Its comcast if it's a need to know.  Thanks in advance!
PS and how does phones work only on EVERYTHING and computers are so limited? (end of the mug shot)

This wireless card does not work on 5 GHz, 2.4 GHz only.

Buying a router dual-band (2.4 and 5 GHz) can be useful if other devices, such as a Tablet, can use 5 GHz. 5 GHz will be probably less crowded with your neighbor WiFi networks, but 5 GHz usually has a range of less than 2.4.

Price is usually why PCs do not come with dual band WiFi. In contrast, the two strips to a phone offers more flexibility when you're out and about. And these days, smartphones can cost more than the average desktop PC!

  • Well, this laptop can run After effects?

    Hello
I have acer aspire 5742g laptop computer, i5 480 m (max 2.93 ghz), Geforce 540 m, 6 GB of ram and slow 5400 RPM HARD drive
After Effects works very slowly if I do something more advanced, so I think its time to upgrade.

I found it cheap enough to care that it provides

    ASUS N56JR

    Intel® Core™ i7-4700HQ processor (6 MB Cache, 2.4 Ghz)

    8 GB memory DDR3 - 1600 MHz

    GeForce GTX 760M 2 GB GDDR5

1 TB drive HARD 5400 RPM (I'll buy ssd later)

    Notebooks & Ultrabooks - N56JR - ASUS

This laptop will be able to manage after effects well enough?

It would be better, but you can use a lot more ram. After Effects is a professional application with tons of capacity. More complex the highest project requirements are on the system. If you want to AE to run quickly when you work on very complex projects, and you want to run on a laptop then you need a portable quality professional workstation not a model of consumption. Dell and HP are, Apple made the MacBookPro R that becomes a portable work stations rank when you max out. In other words, buy the laptop more powerful with the most memory you can afford, make sure that the company provides excellent customer service and get a long warranty - or try your luck with a portable consumer grade.
